Lord Jesus Christ,

I know that Your eyes are on the nation of Zimbabwe and that the suffering of her people has reached You in Zion.

I turn over this nation to You even as I join other Christians across the globe who have been interceding for this wonderful nation.

Take over the forthcoming elections.

By the power in Your Name, slum shut the door that may let in wrong leaders.

Have mercy on this nation and give it leaders after Your heart.

You Lion of Judah is King over Zimbabwe today and forever more, amen

Dear Lord, I pray over this nation of Zimbabwe. I pray for Thy children there who are struggling just to survive, especially the vulerable elderly and little children. I pray that the forthcoming harvest will be a good one and be blessed for their sakes. I pray that the good will agencies may continue to provide food to those most in need. May they and their families be protected and shielded from dangers and harm of any kind. I pray the people will have access to clean drinking water. I pray for the Christian Alliance that they may have unity, wisdom and strength as they seek to hear God's voice for the country and for themselves. I pray that the forthcoming democratic elections will be worthy of the name. May they be free of intimidation and violence throughout. May Thy hand be over this nation and the true gospel of Jesus Christ be more fully opened up to go forward there, I pray in Jesus holy name, amen.

I pray for successful programmes and initiatives to be put in place to effectively tackle poverty and the empowerment of the people. I especially pray that the people will have the freedom of worship and the missionaries can proselyte and share the gospel with the people. Lord God, I pray for a Holy Ghost revival to come to Zimbabwe. I do not know all the situations there, politically and so on. But I hear of drout and those who have no employment. Send Your Spirit to this land to bring waves of salvation, healing, deliverance, transformation. Send Godly, righteous leaders who will lead this naiton to Jesus. I pray for miracles to be seen in this land. I pray Your glory is seen in this land.

I pray for Your children to be supplied for in these difficult times. Send miraculous supply to Your own as a witness and testimony of how You care for Your children.

Take care of my friend, Rumbidzai, whom it is hard to help becuase of not knowing the right sizes of clothes and things....You know the situation. Provide for Rumbidzai and her family, Lord. Keep them in Your care and grace. Raise her up as an agent of Your compassion with a mighty ministry for You. May her uncle find work. Provide for her brother and grandmother and all other family members as well.

The entire issue looks so complicated that a solution seems almost impossible.

Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way for Zimbabwe to come to a Holy Ghost revival. Send them Godly leaders or save those already in leadership. Give them leaders who will lead them to You.

I pray for the safety and proctection of Your children in Zimbabwe. Through Your care for them show others (unsaved) Your power and love. Provide jobs, income, clothing and shelter to all of Your own.

I pray persecution is at a low as well. I don't know if there is persecution there, but please put protection around Your children against such.

Father God, Zimbabwe's continues to bleed. Masses are going to the embassy for protection and aid. Lord, protect the people of Zimbabwe. My heart cries out for them. Father, sactions are talked about in response to the "sham" election and that is continued disheartening news because that continues hardship on people who are starving and struggling. Father, help Your children in Zimbawbe. Provide for all their needs, that they have jobs, food, shelter, clothes, water....all necessities of life. Lord, in Your mercy bypass the systems of men and politics that is causing problems. I pray for favor for Christian organizations that want to help. Father, I thank You that Your hand is upon this land and that You care dearly for her and her people. I thank You that though it may seem that You are very far, that You are so near to us and You are working to bring change in Zimbabwe. Lord, I pray for our leaders, every single one ot them, whether they are of the opposition or the ruling party. I pray that You would stir their hearts to care for the people they lead and not just power and money. Give them a true desire and a collective will to change their negative stance and negotiate with each other for the good of the country. Please Lord, change their hearts...
I especially pray for the people living under the rulership, Jesus, be with poor, the orphans, the destitute and those that can't survive in these harsh economic times. And Lord, please be with everyone generally, that You would bring comfort, strength and provision. Father, I pray that we would truly draw even nearer to You in this time. That Zimbabwe becomes a Godly nation.

Father God, look down upon this country and people with favor. The food shelves are empty and the people have no money for food or even the basic of necessities. Father, fill their bellies and provide all that these precious people need. Father, I continue to pray for safety in this land and for the salvation of Mugabe and his fellow leaders. The shop shelves are empty, but You are good; business might be collapsing in the cities, but You are good; more and more people are becoming poor, but You are good; Zimbabweans are becoming a depressed lot, but You are good; our leaders are out of touch and unjust but You are good; people are dying because of negligence, but You are good. All these horrible things are happening, but Jesus You are good and I know that You are going to turn around and restore Zim, and we will all be amazed. Yes, Father, thank You for the upcoming talks. May they bring about the needed and urgent change and stability in Zimbabwe. Squash all attempts of puffery and arrogance by Mugabe and his regime.
