For us who are interested in political developments in Christian nations, the turn of events in Kenya is sweet music to our ears. I am not interested in Kenya just because its my birth place - thank God for that- i love Kenya because in my opinion, its strategically placed to facilitate the advancement of the Kingdom of God in the entire East and Central Africa.

As a trading hub of greater East Africa, Kenya is the place to start if you want to preach the Gospel in this blessed region. The country is experiencing a true revival and the devil is not going to let go easily. The recent political turmoil has left more than 1,000 dead and over 300,000 displaced. Many (Christian!) families have been displaced and in need of help, prayers and encouragement.

A political settlement has been reached and as British prime Minister summed it up. [The Standard]
“Kenya’s leaders have reached a power-sharing agreement that represents a triumph for peace and diplomacy, and a renunciation of the violence that has scarred a country of such enormous potential,”

Kenyans and its friends need to keep praying;
Kindly pray over these items and to thank God for what He is doing. Indeed God will make a way where there seems to be none

I praise God for this informative post. I have been to Tanzania and have witnessed the powerful move of God in East Africa. The flames of revival are spreading all across the continent. Recent reports from Evangelist Reinhard Bonke have been very encouraging. There is a tidal wave of revival sweeping through many parts of Africa at this crucial point. But the devil has used the sinful nature of the fallen man to bring people against people, just like the Lord Jesus predicted. These are the end times and we need to intercede hard for the salvation of the millions whose eternity is at stake. Tribalism has no role in the church of Jesus Christ. For we all worship the Lamb of God, who is the Lion of the tribe of Judah! Hallelujah!The establishment of a good governing system will greatly facilitate the peaceful spread of the gospel. So let us pray.

Father God, we come to you to intercede for Kenya. Bring the right kind of governing system in place, Lord. Raise up visionary leaders with integrity. Let your kingdom advance in Kenya. Break the bondage of tribalism within the churches. For we are all washed by your blood and there is no distinction among us Lord! Bring ethnic healing. Bring thousands of Kenyans to your kingdom.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen!
