Psalm 86:11
Teach me your way, O LORD,
and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name
King David knew that the most important area to focus on was the heart; that if we would ask God to search our hearts on a regular basis that He would heal and mend areas that do not line up with His word.
Lord I pray for an undivided heart towards my career, my church, my family and all areas of my life. Help me to keep "the main thing", the main thing!

Lord, draw Bruce close to you as he rebuilds his life after the divorce. Show him that all he needs is in You. Be the healer of his heart and emotions. Draw him into deep abiding relationship with You. I pray he finds You as his EVERYTHING at this difficult time. Let him be faithful to all You call him to do. I pray for him to be able to see Your Glory and to thereafter be changed forever. In Jesus Name, amen. JeriRose

Thanks, Jeri. I have finally come to terms with the fact that it is not easy to live the Christian life without a being fully submitted and committed to the Lord. No, it is impossible!
Lord, continue to search my heart. Expose areas that do not comply with Your word, and heal me from all my wounds. Shower me with Your love, that I may live for You by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Examine my heart oh Lord so that may know thy way.
David was a man after Gods own heart. He also seen and would admit when he was wrong;thus allowing God to change him. Unlike Saul who was a people pleaser;and feared what the people would think.
David would most often inquire of the Lord .
I too have come through ;what seemed like to me; the fire of Divorce.
Where everything including my children were taken. Now it is all different
with everything transformed. During this time I trusted in the lord and
what a difference today. I see my children and I am properous.
Some have judged me during this time without understanding the choice was not mine concerning Divorce. I forgive them and understand them; better today, for what they are all about and what they are capable of. But I do not trust them. Call it a learning experience. They seem to trip up in the same areas as their advice was similar to Jobs friends to me .
Through all this truth has become more evident to me now.
The Lord truly desires a contrite heart and a broken Spirit then he heals the heart removing the heart of stone and putting in the heart of flesh and gives us a new spirit (Ezek 36;26-27)
Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
When the sons of Jesse marched before the prophet Samuel
even Samuel did not know who was the Lords chosen.
The lord said to him "for the Lord your God does not judge by the stature of a man but looks into the heart of a man."
The heart is a very important study for a true christian;that is believer;overcomer.
I am thankful you pointed this out for others to read and also this topic.
