Peace after loss of Father

My father went home to our precious Lord last week.
My family is coping okay as we know where he is and are looking forward to joining him someday.
But...... it is still very hard.
My Dad left behind my Mom, me, my 2 brothers and 6 grandkids as well as his Mom and brother.
Worst of all is my Mom who lost her best friend of 44 years and is really struggling.
Please pray for peace for my family to make it through this tough valley.

Be the comfort and strength that this family needs
Lord let them take heart that your love
is complete and you see their pain

Heal the wounds of the past
rejection betrayal and abandonment
that his father never made peace with
and now he is gone...
Heal this Mother of the double loss of her friend
Jesus be her comfort, be her friend
Touch each family member to trust you
that your love is perfect even
though you give free choice to choose
Good or bad
You are perfect where we are not
Give them peace to hurting hearts
