Marriage Going Down!!!!!!

I've been married for 5 years with 2 kids. I love my husband. He confessed to cheating on me. We have been trying to work things out. Now he has more confessions of more resent cheating!!!!! I'm so hurt, angry and tired. He claims he loves me so much and wants to work on things. I feel foolish to stay.....yet my heart wants too. Confused! PLEASE PRAY FOR US!!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL! Dear sister,

I am so very sorry for your situation. This probably is the worst things that can happen to someone like you. I will uphold you in my prayer as often as I can. I will also pray for your husband.



From a scriptural standpoint, you do have the grounds for separation. But since you are also more inclined towards working things out, I would make a few suggestions.



1. Please make sure that your husband understands fully well that what he is doing will cost him his eternity. No one continuing in immoral/adulterous lifestyle will inherit heaven. The consequences will be eternal hell and condemnation.

2. Make sure that he seeks some kind of counseling. I would advice Christian/pastoral counseling.

3. Make sure that your home computers have porn filters. Lot of times, marital infidelity will stem from involvement with pornography.

4. Try to attend a good bible based church on a regular basis. Get some mature brothers/pastors from such a church to pray/counsel your husband.

5. Make it absolutely clear to him that he has to renounce every other relationship. No room for any kind of contacts with all his girl friends.

6. Pray for him regularly and if possible, take a fasting for this issue.

7. Make sure that he spends quality time with the bible on a daily basis.

8. Gently make him understand the lasting consequences this will have on the children, if he continued in this lifestyle.

9. You need to have some good, spiritual sisters to pray/fellowship with.




Father God, I come to you in the name of Jesus, to intercede for my sister. Give her strength at this time. Restore her husband. Let this family know the depth of the love of God and His forgiveness. Bless her children. Restore their marriage.



I speak against every bondage of sexual sins. Lord, cleanse her husband by the power of the blood of Jesus.

Lord of Hosts,

I pray Your Word back to You because IT is anointed to SUCCEED!

Spirit of the Lord, I entreat You in the Name of Jesus Christ to take up Elizabeth's issue and intercede for her in manner that will bring healing in her heart, repentance for her husband and permanent restoration of their marriage.

In the life changing Name of Jesus Christ, I make this petition, amen

Standing in agreement that this marriage be restored. May our sister and her family be covered by the Blood of Jesus.

All the spirits interfering in the unity of this marriage be cast out in Jesus' name. Let the Holy Spirit fill them.

Fathr, thank You for the opportunity to pray for our sister. Give her the grace,wisdom in this season. Cause her husband to draw close to You and fill him up with Your love. Thank You for Your mercy in Jesus' name. Amen!

You've put the conviction on the heart of the wife to forgive and to stay together. We command from this moment on, no more of Satan's sexual attractions shall come before this husband, that he will become physically sick if considers outside attractions. Turn both hearts and minds of this couple fully over to you Lord and only for each other. In Jesus Name- Amen!!
