Prayers for the lost souls of Skogbygda, Norway to come to Christ

Today I am praying for the little town of Skogbygda, Norway where we live. Of course for all of Norway, but I am putting my focus on the people and area where we live. The mind of the greater population here is not centered in God. People often feel that they are enlightened and advanced when they do not depend on God for a crutch, as has been stated to my husband many times. We did have a demonstration here this past weekend against "same sex marriage" where there was a large turn out against it with many carrying and waving their Bibles. I think sometimes deep down many of the people believe in God, but do not recognize Him in their lives or put Him at the helm. I am praying for hearts and minds to be opened up and my husband and I would have a chance to share our faith with them - our beliefs that Jesus is the Christ and the only way whereby we can receive eternal life in the world to come and peace and happiness in this life. Not as the world gives, but as God gives.
Dear Lord I lift these people of Skogbygda and pray as an intercessor that they may have their hearts and minds open to the things of a Godly nature. I pray that my husband and I may be instruments in Thy hands in testifying that Jesus is the Christ and they have need of Him. I pray that we may have opportunities to help our neighbors, especially the elderly couple right next door to us. The elderly man has had a heart attack, but survived and will be returning home on the 17th. I pray that his sister will let us help her in some way and we could have the walls and barriers brought down and a chance to share our faith with them at some point. I pray for Thy hand to be over Norway and especially this area where we live. I pray for miracles in the lives of the people to turn their hearts towards Thee and ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

Much of the main Christian Leadership believe in the 7 "Letters to the Churches" of Revelation relating not on to specific churches named, but also time periods in which, if look back thru history, the church has gone thru related periods of thinking and operating as noted in those letters.
But, look at the Letter to the "Laodiceans", the last letter, considered to cover the time period of christianity up thru just before Christ returns.
"People often feel that they are enlightened or advanced when do not rely on God for a crutch."
this statements foolws suit to what Christ refers to in that last Letter- "I know thy works, that thou art neither hot nor cold, I would rather thou wert hot or cold." "Because sayest I am rich and increased with goods and have need of nothing."
In this time for man, how comfortable are people in this technological environment we live in? So happy, so proud, enjoying all our toys used for enjoying life.
Yet Jesus tells them but-, "knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable and poor and blind and naked".
Like you said, being so comfortable, we are seeking and relying on God less, which leaves us becoming all the things Jesus said, as we slowly lean more upon our own knowledge and less on God's.
It good they awoke against the "same sex" situation, but we need to wake up more and realize we need more of God in all aspects.
Lord-
We pray for this community and area, that you could awaken and open up hearts and minds for seeking you more earnestly to realize the need they have to bring you more into thier daily lives. In Jesus Name- Amen!!

Father, bless Bonnie and her husband with opportunities to share the Good News. Father, I pray that their words and actions will cause many in this town to openly and unabashedly profess their faith in You and live accordingly. May they continue to reach out to their neighbors and may their neighbors be accepting of the offerance of help. May they come to understand that Bonnie and her husband are exuding the life of Christ by extending a hand to their fellowman and that their offer to help is in no means to demean or make them feel inferior. Father, for all of the lost souls in this area, I pray for their eyes to open and their heart and mind to be receptive to accepting You as Lord and Savior. May they be lost no more. I pray for divine encounters; and I pray that You will continue to use Bonnie and her husband by planting people and opportunities in their paths who need to know all about You. Give them the words to say and move mightily within the hearts of their fellowman. Birth a revival in this area. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen

Father, thank You for blessing Bonnie and her husband with the opportunity to outreach to her elderly neighbor and for her neighbors to be receptive. Lord, may this build a strong relationship between them. Lord, plant more and more opportunties in their paths to outreach and minister to those lost in her community. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen

Father God,
Please bless the outreach Bonnie and her husband have started.
Draw as many people as possible to Yourself through this outreach.
Bless it with men and women who are ready to boldly share the Good News of the Gospel and hungry to see non-believers come to the saving knowledge of Your son Jesus Christ
In the Name of Jesus Christ, amen
