Can anyone interpret this dream please.

I had a dream today about my mum who died just over a year ago, in my dream my mum was young. The dream began outside on the steps of a house i think we live in, mum and i were stood on the top step of this house then suddenly a man in a brown suit appeared and beckon my mum to come to him, now my mum had a walking stick and was very unsteady on her feet as you walked down the steps to this man she was swaying as though she was going to fall she turned to me and said "ring the bell and tell your dad the spiritual man is here" as i watch her continue going down the steps to this man it was as if she was hynotised by him "i was screaming mummy no stop your going to fall" When she reached the man in the brown suit he told her to let go of her walking stick and walk toward him she did but she was stubbling everywhere and looked in alot of pain, i noticed that the man was standing in a big muddy puddle so was my mum to at this point. He then began dragging her through the puddle she was making moaning noises only no words she looked as if she were possesed, i was so frightened that i turned and began ringing on the bell like she told me to in the beginning to do but i notice written next to the bell "Daddy" i then started screaming while ringing "Daddy help me" over and over again. No one came to the door so i turned around and very boldly said to the man while going down the steps toward them "MY GOD THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU" as i approached where they were my mum was slumped over this man's arm totally exhausted by what he had made her do, he then lifted up my mum's head by the back of her hair to face me, i was horrified at what i saw because she looked like a monster not my mum this was the point where i woke up in tears and i still don't understand this dream at all.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mums passing. It feels like such a grievious tragedy reading your dream.
I'm praying for God healing touch to will continue ministering to your [[heart]]. Sometimes our tears come out through dreams because our life requires we be strong everyday. Also, sometimes other concerns of loss will trigger reminders in our brain causing unhealed pain to surface. If we do not allow God to heal us, then evil will try to invade (door step).
Please don't be afraid to allow this hurt to come to the surface, so God can heal and minister to YOU.
He is wanting to bring greater healing to you. Tears are very cleaning to the soul. Ask Daddy God to hold me in his large loving arms. He wants to protect you, bring you peace, and fight in your stead.
If your thoughts are tell you otherwise recognize these lies are the enemy and stand against them like in the dream.
It seems as if you are ready for a fight in this dream.

to the man while going down the steps toward them
(Your actions follow your believe in God's provisions, instead of this lie.

GODS grace, Thankyou for your interpretation of my dream i feel so much better knowing that some one was able to make me understand what my dream mean't and reveal to me just how much the Lord loves each and everyone of us. Diana-

This dream seems to be aimed at you. God uses your mother as a symbol to give you security in what God is guiding you to know and understand.

The fact your mother is walking so stiffly and with a walking stick, tells me what you are suffering with is influence from Satan to try and control you, to break you down in faith and belief in God.

Because this "spiritual man" gains control over your mother, this tells me, if you allow this influence to continue, it will continually weaken you until Satan has complete control over you.

God, thru your mother, tells you to run back to the bell and ring it, yelling for your Daddy. But, the reason your earthly father does not show is, the actual "Father" she mean't for you to call upon, is God the Father in Heaven.

When you finally do this, Satan's one last attempt to weaken you totally, is to instill fear in you that could bind you, so Satan can gain greater control over you.

Your boldness in walking towards them and speaking in the name of Jesus, is very good indeed. Stay strong and bold as such.


I must disagree with the turning around tho, being a turning of you towards God. As this only happens after you've come into rememberance of what your mother spoke to you. So, its not like you've strayed and come back, but only out of rememberance of what God has taught you.

Satan will be working thru those close to you (because it was your mother, main actions pointed at for influence), to come directly against you to break down your witness of God thru Christ in front of others.

I suggest, God is working on developing a closer relationship with you, that you learn to automatically, without thinking, will seek Him anytime troubles or trials come up, that you can stand against satan and his attacks, while as Grace noted, your going down steps, is lessing your want to control things and letting more control go to God over time. Each step down, represents a letting go of your own want to control, and letting God have more.

But, know that because when you move closer to the man and your Mom, the trials intensify. This means as you grow stronger in God, trials you face will be stronger against you, as noted by the horrific look of your mother's face when lifted up.

This dream comes across as a plan for God to help strengthen your witness thru belief, faith, prayer and reading His Word intently for a closer relationship with Him, to help others you are very close to- (family, friends, etc), see and hear the witness of God thru Christ in you. That some of those times of witnessing will be very stressful and precarious, and you'll need that boldness and the Holy Spirit to stand up to Satan's attacks against your witness of God to them.
