Protection from Layoffs

Heavenly Father,
I thank You for letting me keep my job through the layoffs last month. I also thank You for blessing Marla with a new job before her severance ran out, and for all those laid off who have been blessed with new jobs.
There is talk at work that we may have another round of layoffs. Two months ago, our former boss talked about having one too many in another area of our department. Last week, one in that area was offered a transfer to another department. It was refused. Father God, please bless me with protection during any further layoffs.
Should this happen, please help those affected move on quickly, without loss of income or reputation. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
