Lakeland Revival!!

Been watching the revival in Lakeland, Florida that has been going on every night for 40 days now. It is being broadcast on god.tv live around the world. The gospel is being preached to the world live!!! Is that EXCITING???

Testimonies are flooding in to god.tv and freshfire.ca about salvations, healings, deliverances, miracles, signs and wonders from around the entire world! I believe this is the FIRST TIME a revival has been broadcast LIVE AROUND THE WORLD! Some churches are having special services just to watch the revival and join in via internet or Direct TV!

WOW, Mamacat, that is soooo exciting!! I have recently been hearing a little about the Lakeland Revival in Florida but was not aware that it is being broadcast around the world via the internet and on TV. That is just AWESOME!! Last week i was reading our local newspaper and came across an ad for a "Miracle Outpouring weekend with International Evangelists Jim Drown and David Bentley from the Florida Healing Outpouring" which is coming this week to a church near us. I felt really excited when i read this and i told my husband that i would like to go to one of these services. Both my husband and i have been struggling with a lot of health problems and i had heard that many people with illnesses are being healed at these services in Lakeland Florida. My husband and i went to church this morning and after the service we were talking with a lady from the church and she mentioned Todd Bentley and that she had seen him on a Christian TV program awhile back. she has been having some health concerns herself and said she is going to try to attend one of the healing services being held here next week.

I am praying that the Lord will make a way for my husband and i and our family members who are struggling with illnesses, depression, anxiety etc to be able to attend one of these services. And i am praying for a revival to take place here in our city. I feel really excited about this!!

Been watching the revival myself. This was prophecied in my church in Canada, the fire reaching over the border (lived in a border town) and it came to that county on the border, then going across he US. And now it's in Florida! A mighty anointing on the meetings, because people are HUNGRY and THIRSTY and DESPERATE for God!

Last night my husband and i went to a meeting here in our city where David Bentley (Todd Bentley's father) was preaching and he gave his testimony and spoke about what has been happening in Lakeland Florida and in other places they have been to. It was awesome! we were there for 5 hours! there were testimonies of people who had been the previous night and were healed of various illnesses, eye and ear problems, cysts etc. about a dozen people went forward during the altar call and accepted Jesus! Praise the Lord! And we prayed for the salvation of our unsaved loved ones. quite a number of people received prayer for healing, including my husband and i. It was an awesome experience! Thank You Lord!

I've been watching the nightly meetings on God TV, either live or tape delayed and watching the morning services online, provided by Ignited Church, where the revvial began.

There are many live streams you can watch but I can't post the URLs so you'll just need to 'google' for them! You can sign up for daily emails about what's happening there and 'you tube' has lots of videos of it as well!

The annointing is powerful and I've been majorly touched. Reminds me of the Jerry Meetings at the church I was attending many years ago!

I'v heard people are taking the fire and starting fires all over the world too. At last count, there have been 12 people raised from the dead too ... IN AMERICA!!

Ignore the scoffers, gossipers, naysayers and 'revival police' as the Ignited Church pastor calls them. This revival is going live around the world and nothing is going to stop it!!! THIS IS THAT!!!!

I hope you know what you are doing. Let me just say that Todd Bentley is a very controversial character. If you do a little google search you will find enough stuff about him which should also be taken into consideration. I don't want to be a grinch but sometimes not everything which looks like gold is also gold.

I was thinking you probably had something encouraging to say.

I was thinking of you in regards to this revival. People from Germany were there and they were going to take the fire back to Germany! And I was hoping you would see a firey revival over there and get involved and find out once and for all that these kind of moves of God are for real!

Well, I'll pray it breaks out all over Germany and comes to where you are, so you can be touched by God.

Actually, in regards to stuff I can read about Todd Bently, I can pretty much read negative stuff about everyone anywhere who is trying to do anything for the Lord. But, hey, there in good company! They said something bad about the prophets and persecuted them. And they hated Jesus so much they killed Him! Then, they persecuted and killed the disciples.... So what's the big deal if they are saying something negative about Todd Bently? It doesn't surprise me.

BESIDES: This IS NOT Todd Bently's revival! It's GODS! GOD chose to move there, and there was nothing Todd could do about it!

They are carrying the feed on God TV live on the internet, and it goes to 214 nations. Have you tuned in? Have you seen God at work? Seen the documented proofs of healings? Seen the awesome way in which God is moving, felt the power of His Presence?

Still praying you will give up your skepticism! Praying you will get truly and really saved and let God move on you in a mighty way, as He is moving on people through this meeting.

I can't get the feed tonight, and I really wanted to hear about Steven Curtis Chapman's daughter. He called and asked them to pray for her resurrection!

Yes, I have seen videos of people from Germany how they got their "anointing" and how they are doing now. A video of a German in his hotel room where they were all acting totally weird. Shaking,twitching uncontrollably and laughing all the time. This stuff looked so silly to me it almost made me angry because the laughing was so annoying. I have seen such things first hand before in a church and all it did was repell me. Now you may say that this is just terrible that the Holy Spirit would repell you, but I don't think that this stuff is from the Holy Spirit. All it does is cause chaos and confusion and it makes christians look pretty dumb. I only want what's really from God and if this stuff is from God then I'm fine with it but I will not indulge in anything which repells me. I take the feeling of being repelled as warning and as long as it repells me I will stay sceptical.
And I have heard and seen too much stuff about Bentley which doesn't line up. I have to be honest to myself and I cannot simply do as if everything is fine and simply cast off all these problematic things about Bentley. As much as I would like God to do huge things I also have to look at both sides of the medal and there is too much concerning stuff which you guys do not even look at because you simply brush everything off with the typical "well, they also hated Jesus" argument. This way you can basically justify anything. I ask myself why did Jesus warn his disciples about the end time? Why did he warn them about false teachers? What does a false teacher actually have to do to be recognized as false teacher? According to the "well they also hated Jesus" argument a false teacher can do whatever he wants and even if the whole church stands up against him he can still say that he's not a false teacher and that the resistance only means he's doing something right. Do you see that this attitude leads to nothing?
This way you can only win. If you have resistance then this means you're doing it right, if you have no resistance and everybody loves you then you're also doing it right.

Yes I watched it a few times. Didn't do much for me. I cannot say if the healing are genuine or not but I also don't say that God cannot heal independently but I also want to mention that huge miracles do not prove that it's God. Jesus said that the antichrist will also do huge miracles which would even deceive the elect. I wonder why did he say that? Maybe he said it because it's true and he will indeed do huge miracles.

Right. I cannot be truly saved because if I was truly saved then I would totally dive into the whole Bentley thing and I would already be lying on the floor twitching uncontrollably and laughing all the time.

Do you really want the sad, honest truth? One man said they never even interviewed him, talked to him or anything. They just spit out an article with total lies on him. This is the kind of hatchet job the haters of these guys do on them. They fabricate stuff. I heard one man say something, and I knew the guy who didn't like him would probably comment on it in his show the next day. So, I tuned in, and sure enough, he said the man said one thing when he said totally another. These people need to stop making up stuff to support their view that God doesn't move in the miraculous anymore.

My other concern is that none of these people can give me a bonafide case of a real miracle. They keep talking aobut "lying signs and wonders" in regard to Todd Bently and others of his collegues. But they can not sight one example of a REAL miralce that they will attribute to God. So, while they say everyone who has any moves of God going on is a fake, they will not show me anything they say is the real deal.

As to you being saved, I read where you said you only wanted to be a better person, so you started studying and learning about Jesus. This is not salvation. If you can tell me that you really asked Him to forgive your sin, that you repented your sins, that You asked him into Your life to be Lord and guide it...then, that is salvation. I do not say you have to embrace the Bently type stuff to be saved. I am saying you have to put your faith and trust in Jesus as the Savior of the world and the only way to get to Heaven, and you have to live in following His commands.

As to being repelled, if you are not truly saved, as I said above, you might well be repelled. These things are foolisness to the unsaved. If you did as above, then it's just the need to die to flesh. The flesh is repelled by anything that makes it uncomfortable. As someone who believes in these kind of moves and is not repelled, I still have too much flesh that gets repelled by stuff. If someone tells me I need to be more Christ like here or there, and I get mad, that's flesh. The whole Christian life is a battle of spirit against flesh. The things of the Spirit our spiritually discerned. Pray that the Holy Spirit reveals to you what is of Him and what isn't. It's a process. I can truly not understand why you get nothing out of any of these type of moves and meetings. I get the feeling that if there was nothing bad you could find on the man, you would still criticize the move.

I wanted to remind you that Noah was a drunk, Abraham was a liar; Lot loved the world; Isaac was a liar; Jacob was a deceiver; his sons had a huge amount of problems (and they were the beginning of God's chosen people, Isreal); Joseph had pride, Moses was a murderer; Gideon was a fraidy cat; David was an adulterer and disobeyd God in counting the people (bringing a plague on the nation); and that is just to name some who God used mightily. I could go through the disciples and their problems, too. I am not sure where you intend to find this perfect person whom God is going to use. I don't think they exist.

Yes, that was in the very beginning and at this time I knew almost nothing.

And I never said my problem with Todd is perfection. My problem are basically the following:

-his roots in the prophetic movement
-the strange stuff which goes on (golddust,gold teeth,oily hands,germstones and what else not...)

-him having all kinds of strange visions

But it's senseless because you will always come up with the same self-immunization tactics telling me how sinful and messed up others in the bible were and how carnal I am because if I was a normal christian I would totally love this stuff and I would be begging God to twist and shake uncontrollably like the others do and so on.

Tell me, would you also want to run around barking like a dog or jumping around on tables like an ape? Where exactly are the limits? There are no limits because even if you feel repelled by something, guess what! It's simply your evil flesh which has to die. Yeah, this makes life a lot easier because you don't have to be alert anymore and question things.

Well, interestingly I saw a video of Toronto, and I was looking to see the barking like a dog. And there was NOTHING even resembling that in the video. Someone was upfront praying, and the people in the room were some keeling, some on their faces, some in chairs (various positions) and praying quietly among themselves....NO barking. I was kind of disappointed. I really wanted to see it. In another video a lady was up at a mike saying as to the Lord asked her if she would bark for him, and she said, "Yes," and so was doing the howling....and supposedly this was Toronto Blessing stuff. But someone commented that they went to those meetings, and this WAS NOT even the building where the the meetings were held. She said she didn't know where this was, but it wasn't Toronto. Have you ever actually heard or seen anyone barking like a dog? I have not, not in any meeting I've been in or watched or anything.... I maight hear people whoop as in, "Whoohoo!" or "Whoooooooooo!" But they do that and more at a ball game.

You would have to tell me what's wrong with the prophetic movement (which I'm sure you will). I've heard all the arguments, and I am not sure I agree with everything, but I also have heard of those who were said to be fakes back in the day, but today what they prophecied is happening just as they said. Also, about a third of the Bible is written by prophets, so we have to say that God likes prophets.

I knew someone who had a gold tooth. Get over it! If this stuff is really happening, how can we deny it?

He has a Daniel reference on one arm and a Revelation on the other.... Wha's so strange about that? His ministry is called "Fresh Fire," so I know why he has all the flame tatoos.

Actually, if you could see the visions I've had recently, you would put me in the samp camp -- wacko!!! But if the Spirit shows us stuff, what are we supposed to do? Deny it?

He does get flack about the angel. People ask him, "Do you have to talk about the angel?" And he says he isn't going to cover it up or lie. If an angel visited him, he isn't going to pretend other wise. Look at how many prophets in the Bible and Christians in the New Testament had angel visitation. How much of my Bible should I remove? Angels are neither male or female. So it matters not if there name has a feminine or a masculine sounding name. Jesus said angels are not like us and do not marry. So why then, do some have MALE names, such as Gabriel or Michael? One would say that makes them male. But Jesus said otherwise.

When you said there are things that don't line up, I thought you meant stuff that showed Todd Bently's life was not being lived right or something.

The only thing that might be wrong is the tatoos...because the Old Testament law said no carvings on flesh. Other than that, the visions, the sings and wonders (gold teethe, etc.), the angel, all have BIBLE support. Again, I haven NEVER heard barking in a meeting. OK, Todd makes this sound maybe a little like a roar...I admit I heard that a couple times.

You seem to be discrediting all this stuff simply because you don't like it, it makes you nervous, you're uncomfortable with it...but it's all IN THE BIBLE. So, instead of throwing it out, I check to see if these things are so. These things are in the Bible (not a gold tooth per se, but signs and wonders can cover a lot of areas). So, once I see this is in the Bible, I test the spirits. Are you TESTING THE SPIRITS or just saying from your flesh that you don't like it? I pray that nothing can happen to me that isn't from God; I plead the blood over myself.... We have to be wise, of course. Not just accept everything. Many times I have turned off TBN and other moving in the Spirit type programming. But, then, I will catch something that touches and witnesses in my spirit, and I feel drawn back to it....because I so long to see the moving of God. People say to pray the Lord won't let anything happen to us that isn't of Him. So, I do that....

Recently, a whole series of visions has come to me that were triggered by the revival meetings, by something said in one particular meeting. I need not share them, because I already know the type of thing you will say. You will like them no better than the Todd Bently visions and such. But they affirm to me that what Todd Bently is about is not something way out there. Oh, yes, it is WAY OUT THERE to the world's thinking, but God's thoughts are so much higher than ours, His ways so much different than ours. I feel like you are trying to reason with your intellect what can not be intellectually grasped. These visions are not something I ever expected to come to me, but the Lord has shown me through confirmation and so on that they are really of Him and His Spirit. We are to let words be established in the mouth of two or three witnesses, and I have had these visions affirmed by more than two or three witnesses.

The miraculous is in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Why do you struggle so much with it?

Dearest friend Frederik- how wonderful to see you back and up to your usaul antics.

To answer your responces, I suggest you refer back to this forum on annointed and refresh your memory of having covered your subjects brought up. Particularly page 2, where Pastor Jerry lovingly comes in and instructs us all to answer your skepticism.

Please, check this out before going any further in responces, so old subjects are not "rehashed".

There is no reason for reviving dead issues that are already put to rest.

And by the way, remember the lesson Pastor gave about those who have a "critical spirit"? Its one thing to be a "Doubting Thomas", but its another to be that so much we allow a "critical spirit" to blind us to Truths and Miracles of God.

JeriRose was correct in her prayer for your "good Salvation." For, if you had been so before, the Holy Spirit would've enlightened you to understand these things of the Spirit that have been explained to you all along and you would not continue questioning everything.

Prayerfully you will come to the day you can accept this Truth, that you can fully turn your belief and faith totally to God and start realizing what is God's Truth and accepting it.

Yes, that was a good thread and speaks to these issues.

Frederik, you said that was back when you "knew" nothing. So are you saved? Or are you talking "knew" as in intellectually? I am asking do you KNOW Jesus or just know ABOUT Him?

If you have really and truly been saved, I encourage you to do what I encouraged in that other thread...SEEK THE LORD. When we seek Jesus, He will show up and touch us and His Spirit will touch us as well, and manifestations may occur. Manifistations may not occur. Either way, if we are staying IN HIS WORD and seeking Him daily in prayer, what is really of Him and what is not will be revealed by His Spirit.

Thanks for reminding us of that thread, CC. My ferver to seek the Lord and not the miracles was STRONG there! I pray I may seek HIM and ONLY HIM once again! I have been seeking Him much, but when miralces, visions and manifestations begin to happen during that seeking time, it's so easy to start expecting and wanting them all the time. And feeling disappointed when they don't happen.

Anway, glad your back Frederik. I hope you can clearly exlain your salvation experience, how in that one point in time you made the DECISION to follow Christ....quit studying and learning ABOUT Him but started studying and learning FROM Him (as in letting His Word and His Spirit minister to you).

Sorry, I did miss the part at the end about the AOG lady who was running around like a barking dog or squawking chicken. I was not trying to ingnore it, because I didn't want to deal with it. I will see if I can find the reference on his website. Even so, there are many strange things that happen to people when the Spirit moves (and, no, I am not just accepting everything under the "It's your flesh" statement). I am accepting these kind of moves as I read in my Bible that God has moved miraculously in all kind of strange and weird ways down through history. As an example: He told Isaiah to walk around naked. That's just ONE example. God has NEVER been conventional, NEVER fit into our idea of what make sense. God DOESN'T make sense, period! They acted like drunks on the day of Pentecost. Prsion bars shook, buildings shook....if God can shake structures, why not people? I am sure that not all of the miraculous things that happened are listed in the Bible. John said there were too many things that Jesus said and did to write them all, so I suspect many more miracles than listed occured. Anyway.........................better quit rehashing old stuff, as you are flat out going to be skeptical.

It's one thing to disagree with barking like a dog...but to throw out all miracuclous things just because of that example is way beyond....!!! If I could point out scirptures that back this stuff day and night, you would still disbelieve that God moves in such ways.

I openly admit, I have been deceived before by what I thought were true works of God in prophetic and visions. I prayed during that time for God to show me the truth of what was really going on. And, about a year later, He did. I refuse to be afraid to move in such areas because of being deceived. As I see these kind of things, I search for comfirmation from God as to whether right. Biblically, I see support for such miraculous moves and for the sense and feeling of His Presence and Glory....so, then, we must pray, per move, whether it's really God or not in it. "Signs and wonders" could cover a vast array of stuff, so I do not out and out reject a sign just because that one per se is not mentioned in the Bible. Bottom line: Search the scriptures to see if these things are so; test the spirits.

As CC said, it is no use to rehash old issues laid to rest (or so we thought). Again, I could argue all night, even from a Biblical standpoint, and you would find a criticism against it.

My words in the other thread now haunt me: Don't seek the gold dust. Seek Jesus! If I have gotten too focused on seeking the signs, I apologize to you guys and to the Lord. I am hungry for the Lord, and so are the Lakeland guys, so that's why I so enjoy the meetings.

Your welcome JeriRose. I only recalled the other aspects he mentioned about goldust, etc that reminded me of that pointed thread in "Jerry's Lessons" about it.

But, I also learned from that lesson, as I discounted some good miracles that edified the "Body" and Glorified God as well. The Lord reminded me of the Scripture I mention below after Pastor jumped in and corrected us all on that subject. A lesson well learned for me to not be so narrow focused all the time.
Well, because the only two references in God's Word concerning animals, were 1- the donkey that spoke to Balaam and 2- Where God cursed King Nebecanezzar to grow long hair, fingernails like claws, crawl around like an animal and eat grass. All for 7 years no less.


As such, I'm not so inclined to believe God's Holy Spirit would come upon anyone these days as a demonstration of Him, making them act like an animal. Now, if were like what happened to King Saul's' Servants who went after David and were changed from anger to joy, laughter, singing and prophecying, those are positive things I believe God would demonstrate thru us by the Holy Spirit.

Those would be positive clear signs of God, not negative cursing signs demonstrated. See, not so many years ago too, a strange "animal ministry" it was called was proliferated for a time.

Supposedly the Holy Spirit came over people and made them act like all manner of animals, birds, etc. Or how about the "barf bag" ministry, where the Holy Spirit would come upon people and cause them to throw up evil into these bags to cleanse them of thier darkness or evil influence.

As you clearly showed, common sense has to be used to realize God will show us what is of Him and not so thru His Word. As the Scripture declares dwell on those things which are good, pure, rightceous, true, of virtue, plus mre. Things we know from God's Word teaching us that which is good, positive, Glorifying God and edifying the "Body".

Vey good Sis, we need to direct our focus on seeking a stronger relationship with God, always growing in Him as such. In This way, the more we search His Word for Truth and seek the Holy Spirit to guide us, the more He reveals about more of God's atributes, besides a growing understanding of the length, depth and width of God, thru such things, which produce spiritual manifestations by the growth in Faith of God as He increases and we decrease.

Isaac: I was in a forklift accident 15 years ago. I came to the meeting last night. I felt electricity come upon me. My leg grew out. I have a before and after picture of my leg grown out. You can see that one knee was lower than the other knee. One leg was two inches shorter than the other leg. I felt energy/strength go through my leg. For 15 years I’ve walked with a limp. This is amazing. Almost a full two inches grew in one night. I can walk now without a limp.

Karen: Fifty years of deafness. I took out my hearing aids. I heard music and I dropped a size. I went down and I felt my body was melting.

Interviewer: He is in constant pain because his brain is too big for his skull A couple of weeks ago he was watching on the Internet when another person was healed of the same ailment. His head started burning. He has not had any pain since that time.

Terry: I have been nearsighted for 26 years. There was a word of knowledge last night that someone’s vision was being healed.

Todd: So your eyesight is totally healed?

Terry: I could not read the scoreboard. Last night I wrote what I could see on the scoreboard and my kids checked it.

Summer: I had major astigmatism in both eyes. I felt a squeeze, a pressure behind my eyes. I couldn’t see people in the back. I can see them clearly now.

Interviewer: For 20 years Brenda has had a malformed heart. She also suffered reactions to drugs while she was hospitalized. She hasn’t been able to run, but she went out for a run yesterday.

Interviewer: Connie had a big, brain tumor wrapped around her spine and sciatic nerve. She can jump up and down and bend over now. She brought the x-ray of her tumor.

Todd: I want you to bring the x-ray showing that the tumor is gone.

Interviewer: Katie had scoliosis. She was in the back corner forgiving her brother. The power of God hit her and now she can dance. She was releasing forgiveness and the Lord healed her spine.

Katie: “God impressed upon my heart to forgive my brother, Joshua. I couldn’t even get the words ‘I forgive Joshua out’ and I felt a heat on my back.”

“I couldn’t walk from the parking lot. I needed this wheelchair. For over eight years she had to be on oxygen. I’m a little baby Christian, taking baby steps. My sister brought me from Reno, Nevada. I’m not grounded the Word and I’m going to find a church.”

Todd: “The power of God is vibrating. God, help her find a church.”

Chad: I was a heroin addict. I also used oxi-cotton for four and a half years. I started using drugs when I was 11 years old. I’m 26 now. Monday was the last day I used. We came down on Tuesday. I’ve done every drug you can think of; sometimes all of them together.

Todd: Do you know my testimony? I was a drug addict and was supernaturally delivered.

Chad: I’ve had no withdrawals. I’m eating. I’m sleeping. We watch it every night on GodTV in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Interviewer: Joe is an evangelist from California with 90% loss of hearing in the left ear. A Vietnam vet. I’ve been deaf since Vietnam.

Todd: This is an evangelist I know from California.

Joe: My wife started talking to me and I could hear what she was saying.

Kristina (Gainesville, FL): You called out “degenerative spine” last night. For eleven years, I had a degenerative spine. I had a herniated disc in my back. I have had to take nine pills a day. I could not feel in my legs. I had numbness in my legs. I can feel sensation in my legs now.

Interviewer: Since 1992 Tina had severe whiplash. She smelled the rain. She smelled roses. She can do stuff she couldn’t do before.

So, a prophet said to Todd that it was like when Jesus was walking on the water, and the disciples thought He was a ghost...and if Peter had not recognized Him, He would have passed them by. Incredible testimonies MommaCat!!

God's Spirit is truely in greater stages of an "outpouring" and annointings. You ought to check out the "Smithton Outpouring" from Smithon Missouri also. Man, another incredible "outpouring" of the Holy Spirit hit there too. It started shortly after the Churche's Pastor went to the first Florida Revival that broke out there.

Pastor Grey was about ready to leave Ministry, his marriage, the Church and just take off. God, thru his wife, convinced him to go to Pensicola to that revival. He did. And finally God gave him a small bit of hope, a ray of Light thru the Darkness.

When he finally arrived back at Smithon, thier Church was holding a service that night and when the Pastor walked in- LIGHTNING STRUCK hehe, entering the Pastor and passing like a wave out over the rest of the people there. And revival has continued with them too, since I think the late 1980's or early 1990's when that first major Florida Revival started.

Theres also a movie out called- "Mirales and Wonders", I watched, based on a book written of a false Minister's life of decieving people and eventually becoming a false Evangelistic Minister just for the money.

But, one fateful night God had one of his rigs break down in this little dinky town. The false Minister decided they'd set up and do thier rip off there.Well, God turned on him one night and a young boy was honestly healed.

The Minister could not handle it and left the stage. Finally, he left the group, getting a ride from a trucker to Pensicola Florida. He never knew God was taking him there to get converted. But that happened. The Minister is now a true Minister for God.

What testimonies. Just wild hehe.

Todd said that one of the stories of a resurrection had been fabricated...to try to discredit the miracles. So, be in prayer about the attacks on this.

But the FIRE is SO strong tonight...the atomposphere is just FULL of God. The wroship leader was so drunk in the Spirit, he couldn't even play music. The people were just praising God without music! It was awesome! WOW!!!

A lady who was deaf many years (he had called out both 52 and 54 years), was there tonight. And when her testimony of healing was read, she started waving her hands. She HEARD her testimony read!!!

Just a question. Would God tell a christian to kick another person in the face? Or would God tell a christian to run down another christian so hard that he loses a tooth? According to Todd "Wrestlemania" Bentley he does.


This isn't revival, this is MADNESS. I feel sorry for everybody who can listen to what Bentley says and then laugh about it or applaud it like those christians in the audience. This is unbelievable. HOW in the world is it possible that this guy talks about hurting and injuring people and the christians sit there and laugh? This is totally insane. Is there anyone in there who is actually using his brain?
But after all, is there anything more funny than kicking an old woman in the face? This is a bad joke.

Well, I cannot say one way or the other about this Revival seeing as how I've never watched any of it. Secondly, you can look up any major ministry and find Blog after Blog of negative sites against them.

Third- Second hand information is not always totally reliable. It would be better to witness such things personally, otherwise, if take some things only by word of mouth, and it turns out wrong, how then do we repair the damage done by listening to falsehoods without proper proving of such?

Remember, God and Christ both speak of the "Two Witness" foundation for proving and reproving, be it for or against, to show clear Truth.

Fourth- You should know better my friend, having been on Annointed long enough, you have posted a site that is unauthorized by Pastor and it will be removed. Since the Mods have not recieved any confirmation it is allowable, you have gone against the rules and you know what can happen if reoccurs.

And we do not condone nor accept any such types of info as credible, unless cleared first by Administration. I will not speak for or against Todd Bentley, without having properly investigated him and this Revival myself, or have heard from a second hand source that cannot be questioned.

YouTube is a site where anyone can post any kind of info they care to on it, which, knowing its other connections of info included there, makes it very unreliable a source for such things, because its always left up to the viewer to decide.

Besides, I'd already been told about this audio sound bite and litened to it. From the way it switches over from the radio Host to Bentley and back again, there were two or more points, that clearly did not sound professionally done. It could have been, but this makes me question the motive behind the reason it was posted- for Truth or personal bias.

Maybe if you cared enough you could just go to youtube and watch and listen to the clips yourself and SEE and HEAR Bentley say these things. But of course it's all faked. Yeah right.
You know what, it's totally senseless to argue with you guys you are totally immunized and desensitized already. No matter what kind of VALID arguments and concerns I bring forth they are simply all faked. This is beyond silly. That's just sad.

Those switches which you hear are only there because they cut out the comments from Todd Friel. He played the stuff and then commented it in between. You can watch the real stuff all on youtube! This argument is simply not worth anything, it's so sad that you don't even seem to see this. Are you not reasonable or what? It doesn't matter at all what Bentley said 10 seconds before or 30 seconds after it. He clearly talks about how he kicks a woman in the face, how he choked a man, how he knocked down a chinese guy who lost a tooth! And he said God told him to do these things. Is this not enough? Of course it's not enough, for you.... because no matter what Bentley says and does it's always okay because he's "God's anointed" whom you may not touch. Yeah right. *bangs head against a wall*

Well, as Pastor pointed out to you so many times before, you haven't read our responces fully, as I'd said I was told of the same "youtube" video by someone before and had watched it before you brought it up here.

The problem is, for any and all revivals, large Ministries and Churches, theres a whole number of blogs that can be found being awful critical of them. All the time forgetting they themselves are human and mess up too off and on, so when they start pointing a finger at another, usaully 3 or more can be pointed back at them.

And to add to that, what about where God had Saul of Tarsus go blind when Christ appeared to him, or when the Holy Spirit came upon Samson to kill all thos philestines, plus more examples.

Who are we to say how God knows best to reach thru to someone? God came down on me pretty hard and that hurt years ago as a young minister getting prideful and needing to end that and return to be meek, gentle, loving and compassionate again, always letting others know, as a Minister, but a physical man, I make my mistakes too.

God knows when it will take gentle loving prodding, to a tougher harder action for someone to respond back as God knows they can be reached.

I'll say this my friend, when you stop letting Satan convince you to pick and choose points out of posts and read all of them fully to respond to all points, then maybe we can achieve a descent exchange that makes sense. This can't be done, so long as you avoid other pertinant points that are avoided answering because there is no logical answer you can give.

I'm sorry my friend you feel these exchanges are useless, but... if you would back God instead of Satan, you might find answers given thru you that can't be disputed. Until a person sides with God and does the reading, studying and researching of His Word, they will always have problems proving invalid points.

This is getting too silly for me. You know what I think? I think you simply cannot or will not judge something and say that this is clearly non-biblical nonsense. What exactly would be too much?
Earth to christian commando: He ran down a human being who lost a tooth! He proudly tells those absolutely insane stories how he hit a person so hard that she flew back several feet. Do you not have any sensitivity for what this is? Obviously not.
What if Bentley next time hears "God" tell him to kick a pregnant woman in the stomach? Would this also be okay? I really ask myself what this guy could possibly say which would finally make your bell ring.

I, for my part, am done with this and I also don't need your manipulative responses where you always try to imply that I'm the one who's wrong and deceived or whatever. You can play these tricks on somebody else! This is how you make people shut up and submit but not with me.

This is so silly. I guess if a man came to you go got punched in the face in church and got his nose broken by a pastor who claimed that God told him to do this then you could not tell this man if this was really God or not. Actually, if I were you I would quit listening to man and start reading the Bible. Can no-one accept all the wacky things God told people in the Bible to do? He's the same yesterday, today and forever.... Jesus whipped the people in the temple.

Explain this to me: Why were those in the Bible allowed to move in strange and weird ways, but no-one today is?

The Bible is plain that miraculous signs should follow those who believe. Yet, it is Christians, above all, who are the first to show skeptism when people are getting healed.

If it's such a waste of time, why do you bother posting? This was a thread to inform of a healing revival. Not one to criticize and find fault.

Sadly, I got in a few YouTube video comment sections and started to criticize. Then, I received a really great article that said where Christ is preached, praise God. Where people are preaching extremes, pray for them. But there is no ministry in the Bible called "fault finding" "criticizing," etc. This article warned that we should not get in that group of Christians who all seem to band together to spread hate against those whose style or message they don't like. LEAVE THE DEALING WITH THEM TO GOD! We are not the Holy Spirit. As intercessors, we are called to PRAY for others, to put blessings on them, not curses.

We are to test the spirits by seeing if they are preaching Christ came in the flesh. Todd Bently preaches this. So, he is our brother in the Lord, whether right or wrong in all he is doing. I never said everything he is doing is OK. That's how you will try to take it. I said, as is true of EVERY Christian, that just becuase we preach Christ came in the flesh, doesn't mean we are doing everything correctly.

What about you? Are you perfect? Do you not have any faults? In order to find a brother or sister in the Lord that we would accept, do they have to be perfect? Only Jesus was perfect. We, as His followers, our called to "Go ye into all the world," but should we refrain from obeying because we aren't perfect?

I have sat around in timidity for years because I think that I have to "arrive" at some particular point of maturity before God can use me. This is wrong. God COMMANDS us to go. It was not a suggestion.

Are you out there, "go"ing into all the world? I KNOW THAT I'M NOT!!! It's so easy to aim at a moving target! (Well, they tried to stone Jesus, now I think of it). We are always going to want to point the finger at those out there in the public DOing something for God.

I think most of us who criticize those DOing something are not doing anything ourselves. I have no grounds to throw stones. Because I don't even have the courage to ask someone if I can pray for them.

We are in need of intercessors in the body. I have noticed many things wrong in the body recently. But am I just going to criticize or am I going to pray? The Bible says if we retain the sins of any, they are retained. I am going to release their sins to God -- and let Him deal with them.

I wish I could express it better. There are many who are preaching Christ who I wonder about. But I have had to release them to God for His dealings. They are not my responsibility. I do not have the authority to speak into their lives, because I don't have the proper relationship with them. God has put authority figures and accountablility people into their lives, and those are the people who they need to listen to in matters of correction.

This board was not put here to criticize and find fault. To lovingly correct as God leads, but no-one on this board has a ministry of "fault finding."

You say that we are close minded to anything you say. But you are close minded to anything we say. You have been skeptical of miracles of God from day one. So you will find any info you can to fall in line with discrediting people.

I had to put a moratorium (spell?) on YouTube. Every time I tried to watch somehing along the charasmatic or pentecostal nature, I found a pile of negative comments. I found critics, doubters, scoffers. These are not the kind of people I want to surround myself with. We are instructed to speak that which is edifying (encouraging) to the body of Christ. And I met too many over there who wanted to tear down.

As to the truth of the videos, it is really easy to fake these videos. One comment I read was that as a sound editor he knew the video had been spliced.

Personally, I heard Todd say that over on YouTube they were asking why he would kick and slap people. He is aware of the comments. Rather than criticize one point or two, why aren't people willing to look at an entire ministry and the good fruit coming out of it?

If we only looked at Jesus whipping those in the temple, we would wonder, too. But that was just one incident in an entire ministry of the goal of reconciling us to God, our Father.

Because this thread was simply informative, I was really disappointed to see you posting all that negative stuff in here. We are not here to bash anyone. If we see things wrong, the call is to pray.

Frederik said he wouldn't waste his time here anymore, so though this was posted to him, I pray it will minister to others.

If we find fault against others and refuse to LET IT GO, we will only hurt ourselves. I know. I've done it enough. Every time you see something you think is wrong in the body of Christ, don't throw mud! Go to God in prayer! Slinging mud solves nothing. Asking God to deal with them is what we are called to do.

I wonder about some things concerning Todd myself. But where Christ is preached, I am instructed to praise God. So, I praise God! I wish I had his boldness, that's for sure. That doesn't mean I think he is doing everything right. Who ever said any of us thought that? God has nothing but imperfect people to work through. If He waited until we were all perfect, nothing would get done! Rather than criticizing others and what they are doing, we should be praying about and seeking out what WE are to be doing. If Todd's not doing it right, where are those who WILL go out there and do it right?

When I realize that at least he IS doing it, "going into all the world," I have to shut up! As he was teaching tonight, Jesus commanded (not a suggestion) His disciples to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons.... Todd Bently is doing this.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? And in that question, the finger points back at me. I'm not doing it, either.

I really just don't think those of us who aren't following Jesus commands have any business throwing stones at those who are.

What ever you wish my friend. But....just know, that with any fairly prominant Ministry of God, I could a few to many blogs people have started, to point fingers at every little thing each has done wrong. With such the case, do we condemn and refuse to accept any then because of that?

Have we gotten so full of ourselves to think we are so smart or so great, that we are above reproach ourselves to judge them? (Even tho God declares all men are equally born in sin)?

Let us be sure of sources and info we choose to share that are trustworthy and of good report and reliable before we jump to believing whatever is put out there. Has Satan not got enough false ammo to use against the "Body" without adding on members of the "Body" speaking down of them?

Well, Geraldo had a REALLY SHORT interview with Todd, but it was a start. He asked Todd to show him the documented proof of healings (of which, Todd has some with him, but Geraldo never let him read them). He told him he wanted to see IRS info as well. So, Geraldo is playing that same game as many, but, hey, he's not even a Christian and is giving Todd Bently more grace than many Christians. It was Fox network that the Geraldo interview was on.

As to God TV, it's on the interent, so you can go and watch the revival yourself. If you come to a page that says to sign up for this thing called UTV, ignore it. I got in directly, by clicking on "Click here to watch now." You have to register and enter a password, or they might send you one now, as they recently changed mine. Write it down, as from time to time it's required, and the one they sent me was long with a series of letters and numbers, some caps, some lowercase.

What I see is mostly none of the above. He did put his "holy knee," as he called it, into one guy, but it wasn't hard. They do a lot of praise and the people just worhsip God, and you feel His Presence coming in strong....Then, the MC gets up and speaks a while, and they might worship more (worship is BEAUTIFUL). One night the worship leader got so drunk in the Spirit, he forgot how to play the keyboard. The Presence of God is thick; you can feel it right through the computer screen! People do shake and fall in the power (during worship with no-one laying hands on them, too). Sometimes, Todd will lay down in the Presence of God and just soak in it. After the MC makes announcements, Todd or visiting minister or stand in will come up and they usually start calling out words of knowledge for various illnessess and conditions. Todd sometimes says, "I'm having a heavenly vision right now." And he is seeing visions of these things he's calling out. Then, he prays for the people or is praying throughout calling out the words. They are in tongues a lot, but, as Todd said the interpretation is the working of miracles to follow (and I believe also these words of knowledge God gives him). After a few minutes, he asks people to start forming lines to the right and left if healed. But he also will feel led to call up people with a certain condition (not yet healed) to lay hands on them. Often, he will be led to call out a certain nation. "Is there anyone here from Germany?" He insists they came from Germany or Ireland or wherever. Not a German or Irishman who lives in America. He calls them up to receive the fire to take it back to their country. Or I've seen him call up active missionaries, those who are ready to go out on the mission field shortly. He prays for them to take the fire where they are going. Todd fully believes in GIVING IT AWAY. It will keep flowing as he gives it away. Anyway, then the people testify of healings. Some were healed while watching God TV at home; some have been healed while talking to someone in the meetings on a cell phone. So, they will testify. He asks most of them to get documented proof, to go back to the doctor and have it checked. He asks how they know they are healed, what hey felt when Jesus touched them. He will pray for them, and they often do fall in the power or shake. Many are shaking or drunk in the Spirit when they come up on the platform. Many can barely stand, the power and Presence of God is so thick on the platform. Todd can barely stand sometimes and has trouble talking at times. The MC could barely talk one night, when making announcements, so Todd took over. Many say they are drunk, much laughter and joy on the platform, not to mention throughout room. Not to mention it touches me here at home!!! There is usally an alter call sometime during the service. And before going off air, he usually does an impartation prayer to the people watching and in the meetings. They do what they call "the tunnel of fire," some nights. Then, the interns and associates line up and lay hands on all who pass through, so that they can pray the fire on the people. I've seen the gold teeth in people's mouths, just for confirmation. I've seen them open their mouths, and, sure enough, there is a gold told where was none. Todd talks about things like feeling oil on his hands or fire in his hands (but then, I've felt such things, too). They also do this "Get your barrel and drink," where they pretend to be holding up a big barrel and drinking from it. This is symbolic of drinking in God's Presence.

I tried to give an accurate report of what goes on, not bias it one way or another.

Anything I see that I have problems with, I take to God in prayer. Otherwise, praise God where Christ is preached. Some of he groups criticizing Todd teach us to get out and preach like Jesus did, but Jesus did miracles as he preached, and they do not emphasize that part. Todd is doing what Jesus did more so than they. And in the MSNBC article a theologian said this wasn't the doctrine of Christ. What? The miracles? Todd is doing as Jesus commanded his disciples in healing the sick, cleansing the leper, raising the dead, casting out demons. Because of this, the things I find wrong, are things I have to pray to God about.

God works through imperfect people. When Peter walked by people, they were healed by his shadow falling over them. Was he perfect? No! Paul had to call him aside and reprove him to his face about the matter of refusing to eat with the uncircumsized when Jews were present. But God works through the AVAILABLE. And, early on, Todd started going into the streets 4 hours a day, telling God he would do whatever God asked in ministering to others. That was the start of his ministry.

Anyway, I see more good than bad...and I see Christ being preached. And I am instructed to praise God about that, so I do. I praise God where Todd's critics are preaching Christ. I just wish they would get out of the fault finding "ministry."

Wendy Alec, owner of GOD TV with husband Rory, was given this scripture in regards to this revival:

1 Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished commanding His twelve disciples, that He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities.
2 And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples 3 and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”
4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

So, we have been praying for revival for years in America, and like, John the Baptist are we asking "Is this the one (revial we've been praying for) or should we look for another?" When things don't come in our neat, little package of what is should look like, are we going to reject it or are we going to see the fruit of it, and realize God is in it?

Wendy said, a demonic attak has been unleashed agaisnt this through witches and other occultists, so many will be trying to discredit it. And we as intercessors need to pray for Todd and his family and all others involved and for Wendy and Roray and family for protection against attacks.

Remember, the religious leaders said Jesus had a demon, so be CAREFUL who you listen to in regards to this.

Yes well, I have enough witch accounts given of those converted to christianity, who spoke of attacking some of the people involved ane greatest movements of God, to try and quell them in past years as a witch. so this does not supprise me.

Alot of people, including Christians, fear Witches, Warlocks, sorcerers, psychics and more. but, like God's children being a vessel for the witness of christ to shine thru, so too are witches and the like vessels for Satan and his demons work to shine thru also.

Depending on Satan knowing eople's reactions, such evidences thru them can cause fear, or interest, a "drawing" or a weakening.

But you approach things right. You go to God in prayer over things questionable. Thats the smartest thing to do, for God to show or tell you what is of Him and what is not. Alot of times, an overly skeptical or critical thinking, keeps us blocked from seeing or hearing the truth, for we will question even that, when its clear as day sometimes.

So far, since the "GOD TV" system has been working now, I've not seen any evidence this revival is questionable. And I also went thru the TV listings of the videos on puter from major stations and found the same as you about the Geraldo interview.

But, secular program directors need to keep thier TV hosts only at borderline for how much they can show or speak on such things, in order not to mess up thier ratings.

I deal with one "Christian" Site, that speaks against any kind of Counciling for any christian, because its all based off some secular system they claim. And they name probably 3-5 major christian psychologists or thier Ministries, fully backing such things.

But see, there will always be decentors about particular areas of God's Word, where Satan will infiltrate and blind those of God's children, or by direct attack thru secular sources. God's children have always been under scrutiney as well as God's Teachings, since man fell from Grace and Satan gained a foothold to propogate his opposing views to God's, when man gave satan that right.

Jesus may have won the war for our souls, its still the smaller battles we face in living out that win of Christ against Satan, daily now. Winning those battles, depends upon how strong we lean on God for the strength, faith and power by His spirit to overcome them, thru the blood of Christ.

The Bible (Proverbs) says there is wisdom in MULTITUDE of counselors (spell?), which means that couseling is defintiely not wrong. If God has given Godly wisdom to the people in the body of Christ, how is them despensing that wisdom to others wrong?

Sometimes, God gives instant deliverance from addictions, etc. Sometimes, He helps us let go of these things through counseling. God clearly uses both.

I am glad you have been able to watch. It is such a blessing to see God moving so beautifully. It is that sense of His Presence that so fills the room (tent) and reaches right to us through the computer screen that I love.

I was watching another prominent preacher in the pentecostal and charismatic circles who says open portals (of heaven) and agnelic visitation are myths.... So, hmmmm.... becuase this brother had much good to say, too, that I totally agreed with.

When two brothers come at things with such opposite views and both preach things of value, we have to then pray that each is brought into line with what's right regarding these things. Broher 2 says that when baptised with the Holy Spirit we get all we need, don't need someone to come into town and break open a portal in heaven. He says WE are the wind of God, the flame of fire, etc. Each of us is already that, not that we need that imparted to us. Funny thing is, they credit this brothers work in Florida with helping make the way for Todd's meetings.

But rather than get all frustrated and skeptical when I see this, I take what is clearly of God and Biblically correct from each, and pray that these brothers come into unity. In the Bible, it's very clear the apostles didn't see eye to eye on all issues, such as when Paul and Barnabus split ways and when Paul confronted Peter about his hypocrasy about not eating with the Gentiles when the Jews (circumsized) were there. Inspite of differeces, God used all of them.

Even God TV plays this other preacher who differs with Todd, though Wendy felt led of God to play the revival!

Truly, this is maturity in the body of Christ, and does not mean we are messed up in our thinking. As intercessors, we are called to pray for UNITY in the body, raher than start fretting and disparing because there are so many opposing things being preached out there.

Funny thing is, one of Todd's key supporters and friends (also in the ministry) sends money to a minister that is good friends with the guy who was preaching against the open portals and angelic visitation. I liked much of what this brother was saying, yet angelic visitation is Biblical, so I disagree with what he said about it being a myth. All I can do in regards to his view of angelic visitation is pray he gets visited by an angel himself or otherwise changes his mind in light of scripture.

Truth is, I felt anointing as he preached, and I feel anointing in the Lakeland revival. So, whose right? Both are right where what they are preaching is Biblical. Anything not Biblical, God can make plain to them and will in His time. If both are preaching Christ, I have to praise the Lord. And I do!

Anyway, I find the revival meetings a great blessing. And where I agree with both above brothers is that they are saying speaking in tongues is a good thing, but if we are not reaching others (as in we received power to be witnesses) then something is missing. So I keep praying for boldness, as I have all this inner anointing and so on going on, but when it comes to laying hands on others or asking if there's something I can pray for them about or the like, I chicken out or don't know how to go about it so just don't.

About Ministers who preach slightly different views-

Your now hearing more of what God was showing me in the past. At first I thought those Ministers were bad, wrong, not to be trusted. But, I learned I was wrong. God had me deal with religions after those first few encounters with diverse teachings.

He taught me, no one religion teaches all of God's truth. And because religion in itself is of Satan's influence, he was able to get his part for confusion, devision and deception into the upholding of God's Word.

But, by the same token, Christian religions have stayed pure from the aspect of all teaching the same doctrine for Salvation. For instance-

Baptist- Certain sects of this religion seriously question, to reject someoone having Salvation without water baptism.

Roman Catholic- Certain sects of this religion do not believe in the special "Gifts" of the Holy Spirit.

AOG- They strictly teach against women being Ministers. but, you'll find, across the US, they have a small percentage of women Pastoring some of thier Churches, hehe.

So, most likely what your hearing preached, are "religious Seminarial Teachings" at times. That does not mean tho, Ministers of other religions can't believe in and back them. In Truth, they should, because even thier own religion has its faults, concieved of by interpretation from man, influenced by Satan.

What irritates Satan, even with all this division over basic doctrinal teachings, God still gets His whole Truth taught by combining all Truths shared from every Christian religion. Besides the fact, God can in this way, can provide more variety for such an incredible population of Christians these days, compared to Early Church Days, to fulfill the needs of His Children along with unsaved, to be reached or fed.

So, God can not only give more variety for services to attract more people, this helps to break down more specifically, the reaching people even greater by that method, thru so many Servants outreaching for God, belonging to them all.

We need to learn to accept all people, regardless of thier beliefs. For no one person either, will understand or know all truths of God. We are falable, thats it, no ifs ands or buts about it and we will all believe something thats not honestly inline with God, even if believe we are correct.
