Salvation for Jim

Please pray for Jim, a friend of mine. He is recovering from neck and back surgery that he had last Tuesday, Sept. 30th. My pastor and I are planning on visiting him tomorrow, and hopefully we will have the opportunity to speak to him about giving his heart to the Lord. Please pray that the Holy Spirit might reveal to him his sinful ways, and that his heart would be receptive to the plan of salvation. It would truly be a blessing if he gave his heart to the Lord, as none of his family ever really acknowledged God or religion. They are not atheists, but religion has never played a part in their daily lives.
So, please pray that as we speak to him tomorrow that he may be receptive to the way of salvation and that the conviction of sin will weigh so heavy upon his heart, that he will be unable to resist giving his heart to the Lord.

God, Lord, our mighty King, and Savior, I come to you and ask that you would open this man's eyes. Lord, I pray that he would be able o be calm, listen, and to accept your grace. amen.

Lord Jesus send the Holy Spirit to this man to convict him of his lostness and to lead him to salvation in You. Lord provide the witnesses and the words that will bring about this miracle in his life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
