I have my home for sale. We had a buyer. She was pre approved 2 times. So we had a contract, and everything was set to go, and closing was to be on Oct. 10th. We received a phone call the previous Monday, saying that closing had been postponed until Oct. 17th. On Friday, our original closing date, we received another call, saying that the mortgage company wasen't going to go through with the loan. We have invested time, money, and energy into the sale of our home. We are moving to another state, and we traveled up to find new jobs, a home to rent, and had our daughter set to be enrolled into a new school.
I turned in my 2 weeks notice, and my employer found another person to fill my position. So now I have to call my new job,that I was offered up north, and tell them I can't accept the position. We had to call our new landlord, and cancel our rent agreement ( we won't know if we have to pay the 1st month, and last month rent, until Monday) We put down a $300.00 deposit. I have to call our daughter's new school, and tell them she won't be attending. I owe my father money that he loaned to me, so I could fly up, and stay the week, while I looked for work. Now if we take our home off the market, we are liable for the house being tented for termites. Our home is back on MLS. My husband has asked that the price be escalated, so that the home will not sell, so we would not be moving during the winter, and Holidays. After the first of the year, we will reduce the price. I will now have to go out and find another job, tomorrow. I know that I am rambling on, but I have been so down this weekend, and I do know things happen for a reason, and I am trying to get over this, but my heart still aches. I am asking God to help me understand, and I am starting to get a little bit better. I just pray that I can get above this and move on, and pray that the next person who comes along will be the right person, to buy the house. Thank you so much, for being here. |
