Here are your promises to me Daddy

Exod 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. (The only commandments we have today in the New Testament is to Love God and our neighbors)

Exod 23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Deut 7:15 And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Ps 91:9-10 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Ps 103:1-5 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Ps 107:19-20 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. 20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Prov 4:20-23 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Isa 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isa 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Surely = awkane Truly, Verily Verily I place my word on it or I vow
Borne = Nawsaw to take, to carry, to become my substitute
griefs = kholee used 24 times in old testament. 20 times as sickenss or disease and only 4 times as grief. Two of the 4 times in Isa 53 as grief.
carried = sawbal

Isa 55:9-11 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Isa 58:6-11 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? 8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward. 9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; 10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday: 11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Jer 30:17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.

Mal 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not

Mal 4:2-3 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Matt 7:7-11 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Matt 8:16-17 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Matt 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Matt 15:30-31 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: 31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Luke 4:17-19 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Luke 9:1-2 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

Luke 10:8-9 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: 9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

Luke 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?

Acts 4:29-30 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, 30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

Acts 5:15-16 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. 16 There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

James 5:13-16 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Part of a prayer I prayed for my sister letha's son.

offer this prayer in our time of need.

Father, I thank You for this wonderful opportunity to minister to my sister, Letha and her son. Satan is so stupid; he never remembers the verses that say, ISA 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

He never remembers: HEB 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

That, as a child of God, we can go where satan cannot go.
We can go to the inner court of mercy.
There is no mercy for satan anymore

But my Lord is.
PSA 86:5 For thou, Lord, [art] good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. 86:6 Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. 86:7 In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.

Father, we have learned not to FEAR - which means to give respect or worship to the problem. Your Word encourages us to worship and respect the problem-solver.

PSA 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:

PSA 46:1 .... God [is] our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 46:2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 46:3 [Though] the waters thereof roar [and] be troubled, [though] the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.

Father, I pray for Frank today. The doctors like to scare people with words, but God likes to do the opposite. The doctors say he has spinal meningitis. The Lord says he is already healed by the stripes of Jesus. I like what the Lord says.

So, Father, we come against satan and his evil report and We love standing on Your Word. We ask for Frank's healing - not only for his body, but his soul and spirit also. Father, we rebuke the hand of satan here, and ask for Your mercy one more time. As a child, we thank You.

Now, Father, for my sister, Letha, who would gladly give up her life for her son, Frank. For my sister Letha who would say, "Don't take Frank; take me instead". My darling, Letha, I know your heart, for that is where many parents are when their child gets hurt.

Think on this - over two thousand years ago Jesus said, ABBA Father, don't let satan take them, I will take their sins and I will take their sickness to the cross. Daddy, let me die for them.

ISA 53:4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs (He has taken OUR sickness'), and carried our sorrows: (to the cross).... 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him (on Jesus) the iniquity of us all.

So you see my precious sister, Jesus has already prayed your prayer - but a little different way. He wants to take your pain. He wants to take your sorrow. He want to take the sickness that satan tries to kill you with. He wants to do it for everyone who will humble themselves and pray and say, "Jesus, I will follow you this time."

These are the promises, open to everyone who has an open line to heaven. The only problem is that you have to make the call. I can pray for mercy, and the Lord will answer; but why wait for me, when you can have the line open for yourself? I know it is a bother, but you must apply for the line. I can't do that for you.

: we are standing with you.
Heavenly Father let the healing virtue flow. As it flowed for the woman who touched the hem of Jesus's garment let it touch this family. Satan stand back because Jesus is coming to heal. Yea though we walk through the valley of the Shadow of Death, we will fear, (give no respect or worship) to the evil report. We will not fear the problem we will worship the problem solver and watch Him heal in Jesus Name.

Blessings
Jerry

Every Example of Healing in the New Testament

 Introduction

This article presents every example in the New Testament where one or more people were healed. Jesus has commissioned all believers to lay hands on the sick throughout the Church Age. so it is important for us to understand the Scriptural examples in the Bible concerning healing.

Here are some important principles of healing that we will see over and over again in these passages:

  1. Notice in every case, the healing was done through a human by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Name of Jesus. Where we are told how the healings were done, the vast majority of the healings in the New Testament were done through the laying-on of hands, often by commanding the healing. This principle is just as true today.
  2. Notice that Jesus did not heal everyone who came to Him for healing. It was His will and His desire to heal everyone who came for healing, because He had compassion on them. But many were not healed until asked. Has His compassion or His will changed over the years? Not a bit! Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and He still has compassion on us and He still heals by the laying-on of hands. The only difference is that now He lives in us and He uses our hands for healing the sick.
  3. Notice how often Jesus stressed that faith is essential in healing. Many times He told people that their faith had healed them. Faith is just as important in healing today as it was back then.
  4. Notice that many times the healings did not happen until the person mixed action with his or her faith. The man with the shriveled hand had to stretch forth his hand before it was healed (Matthew 12:9-13). Another man had to go wash some mud off of his face before his eyesight was restored (John 9:1-7). These people put their faith into action, and then they were healed. The same principle holds true today.
  5. In a number of cases, people were healed by having demons cast out of them. Sometimes simply casting out a demon will bring about the physical healing, just like the woman in Luke 13:10-13 who straightened up for the first time in 18 years after Jesus cast a spirit out of her. Other times the physical healing will not happen until a spirit is cast out, and then the body can be commanded to be healed.
  6. When laying hands on people, Jesus sometimes placed His hands as close to the physical affliction as possible. He put His fingers in deaf people's ears, He touched His finger to mute people's tongues, and so on. This principle holds true today as well. When we minister healing, it is often best to place our hands as close to the problem area as possible (without being insensitive to a person's dignity) so that the power of the Holy Spirit can be applied directly to the affliction.
  7. Notice that not everybody was instantly healed by Jesus. The ten lepers received their healing as they were on their way to see the priests in obedience to Jesus' command (Luke 17:11-14). On another occasion, Jesus laid hands on a person a second time before the healing was complete (Mark 8:22-25). This is true today as well. If someone is not instantly healed when we lay hands on them then we need to be persistent and try something different. If their healing never manifests itself while we are laying hands, then we need to have faith that the power of the Holy Spirit has gone into them and that within a day or two their healing might manifest itself. The person can also demonstrate persistence by having someone else lay hands on him or her. The Bible stresses over and over that God honors persistence.
  8. Notice that Jesus did not always heal everyone around Him, nor did He go out in search of people to heal. He healed all those who came to Him or those whom God placed in His path. For example, Jesus healed a lame man at the pool of Bethesda, but apparently He did not heal any of the great number of disabled people who were also there (John 5:2-9). Another man, crippled from birth, was brought to the temple gate every day to beg, and he was healed by Peter and John (Acts 3:2-8). Jesus probably passed by this man many times as He went in and out of the temple gate, yet Jesus never healed him. There are a number of passages which say that Jesus healed all the sick, but these were people who came to Him or who were brought to Him, these were not people whom Jesus sought out to heal. Since Jesus did not automatically heal everyone around Him and He did not seek out people to heal and He did not empty out leper colonies, we have no Scriptural command nor precedent for trying to clear out hospitals (which is a common challenge made by those who don't believe in laying hands on the sick).
  9. Occasionally we are told that Jesus asked people some questions to determine the type of healing that they needed and to determine if the healing was complete after He laid hands on them. This is equally important today.
  10. The disciples were unable to cast a particular demon out of a little boy, and they asked Jesus why. He replied that this kind of demon only comes out with prayer (or with prayer and fasting, depending on which version of the Bible you have). The disciples were missing an important piece of knowledge concerning how to heal that little boy. This illustrates that the more we learn about healing, the more people we will see healed.
  11. Several times Jesus told people to go and show themselves to the priests after they were healed. Scholars tell us that the priests were also the doctors of the time, so in one sense Jesus was telling people to check in with their doctors. When ministering healing today it is essential that we do not tell people to go off of any medications or anything like that. First of all, it would be considered practicing medicine without a license, which is illegal. Secondly, the Bible tells us to obey the authorities, and therefore when we submit to the authority of a doctor we should obey him or her. Always tell people to continue their medication and to go to their doctor as soon as possible in order to be pronounced healthy by the doctor.
  12. Neither Jesus nor the disciples followed a strict formula when doing healing or deliverance. They occasionally did unusual things such as when Jesus spit and made some mud and put it on someone's eyes (John 9:1-7). God is sovereign, and when we are ministering healing or deliverance we must always be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, just as Jesus was.
  13. Sometimes people were healed by touching Jesus' garments or the apostles' garments or things which had touched the apostles' bodies. The same holds true today. The power of the Holy Spirit is not limited by clothing, it flows through clothing, casts, and so on. People can be healed by touching our clothing in faith, just like the woman who was healed by touching the edge of Jesus' cloak (Mark 5:25-34).
  14. Since healing only operates by faith, if people are present who are full of doubt and unbelief then they can actually prevent the healing from happening. It is sometimes best to take the sick person out of an atmosphere of doubt and unbelief so that he or she can be healed. Even Jesus and the apostles did this on several occasions (see Mark 5:38-42, 7:32-35, 8:22-25, and Acts 9:36-40, for example).

  15. Jesus and the apostles were often ridiculed by religious people, and they were accused of doing demonic things. This is also true today. When you step out in faith and begin laying hands on the sick in obedience to the Great Commission, expect to be ridiculed. Ironically, atheists don't care about the healing power of God because they don't believe in God in the first place, so it will be your own brothers and sisters in Christ who will ridicule you and accuse you of doing things which are "of the devil" (speaking in tongues and so on). Love them anyway and don't let this deter you, because blessed are you when people ridicule you for the obedient works that you are doing in His Name (Matthew 5:11, Luke 6:23).
  16. In the book of Acts, notice that the apostles continually declared that people were healed in the Name of Jesus. This is an especially important point. God is sovereign and He can heal people in any way He chooses, but the vast majority of healings that you will see will depend on three crucial things: Faith, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the Name of Jesus.

Healing Passages

Anointed and powerful. Any other words to describe this lesson would be inadequate.

I have learned from someone teaching oral tradition that the spit of the firstborn in Jesus' time was considered to be full of healing properties....I had always wondered about why Jesus used spit, sometimes, when he healed.

In Mark 1: 40-42 we can read about a leper who was sure that Jesus was able to heal him. However, he did not know if he also wanted. This is the inner conflict of many Christians today: “I know that God can heal me but does he want to heal me?” Let us read how Jesus answered this question.

“40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean
41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will: be thou clean.
42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.”
(Mark 1: 40-42)

Jesus answered clearly that he wanted to heal this leper.

A few words were enough to touch the heart of this man: “I will; be thou clean!” And as soon as Jesus had spoken this man was completely healed and the leprosy fell off from him.

We also know that “there is no respect of persons with God” (Rom. 2:11).

This means that God does not prefer anybody and leaves others behind. If it was God’s will to heal the leper then the same is true for you. God wants to heal you!

If you believe that God is able to heal but you are unsure if he wants to heal you then listen again to what Jesus says in verse 41: “I will”. There is no doubt: God wants to heal you!

A further look on the gospels confirms this. The healing will of God was expressed in the healing miracles Jesus performed. It is important to stress the fact that Jesus was healing each and everyone who came and asked for his healing. Please read all of the following scriptures! I will not add any further explanation to these because the bible speaks so clearly. So whatever you were believing before just open your heart to the Word of God and find out how it was when Jesus walked on earth to reveal the will of his father:

“When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.”(Matthew 8:16)

“And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people
(Matthew 9:35)

“And great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all” (Matthew 12:15b)

“And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.”
(Matthew 14:14)

“35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;
36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.”
(Matthew 14:35-36)

“And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them.”
(Matthew 15:30)

“And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.”
(Matthew 19:2)

“10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.”
(Mark 3:10)

“And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the street, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.”
(Mark 6:56)

“Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.
(Luke 4:40)

“And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.”
(Luke 6:19)

“And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.”
(Luke 9:11)

The scriptural proof that Jesus healed all that came to be healed is overwhelming. Nevertheless, some still state that this would not be the case and usually base their argumentation on two scriptures. These two scriptures shall be examined more closely to show that they are not contradictory to those above at all.

“32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.
33 And all the city was gathered together at the door.
34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.”
(Mark 1:32-34)

We read that in the evening they brought all the sick to the house where Jesus dwelt and that Jesus healed many. The question is why Mark wrote that he healed many instead of them or all of them. Does this many mean that all that were sick and healed were a large number of people, in other words many? Or did he write many instead of all because not all of them that were sick were healed but still many? Sceptics assume that the second is true and that Jesus did not heal all the sick this time. But it is very easy to prove that this assumption is not correct by reading what Matthew writes about the same event.

In Mark 1:30-31, the verses before the quoted scripture, we read that Jesus had just healed Peter’s mother-in-law from fever before they brought all the sick people of their city at the evening. Matthew writes about the healing of Peter’s mother-in-law in Matthew 8:14-15 and continues like Mark with the same evening of that day: “When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.” (Matthew 8,16) From Matthew’s report of the same event we learn that all the sick were healed that evening. This again shows that Mark is just telling us that these people were many in a sense of a large number. Thereby, the assumption that he might have written many in order to point out that not all were healed is wrong.

A closer examination of the Greek original text confirms this point of view. Mark wrote the Greek word polloi without article which just means many. In order to point out that not all of them were healed but many in a sense of “most of them” there would be written oi polloi. This might be hard to understand but the Greek language is more exact than our modern languages can be. This is why the discussed misunderstanding about this one word “many” could only occur because our English translation cannot be as precise in its expression as the Greek original.

The second scripture that causes some to think that Jesus did not heal everyone is more interesting because it is not just about a possible misunderstanding of one word but it contains a very important message. The bible is telling us the story how Jesus came back to the city of Nazareth where he grew up (Mark 6:1-6). When he taught in the synagogue there was a lot of controversy. Some people felt offended by the way Jesus taught. They were wondering how he could speak with such authority while they considered him one of them.

“4 But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own house kin, and in his own house.
5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and he healed them.
6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief
.”
(Mark 6:4-6)

It is interesting that only in his hometown Nazareth he did not heal many but just a few. Nevertheless, there is no reason to believe that he sent anybody back home without being healed that came to him, expecting to be healed. Mark clearly wrote that he laid hands upon a few people that came to be healed and healed them. Again, none of them was rejected. The problem that this scripture shows is that many were not healed because they did not even expect it. They did not believe that Jesus would be what he said he would be because they thought they knew Jesus. But they knew him only in the flesh. They did not know him as we know him: Jesus, the Son of God, the saviour, the Messiah, the one that was sent to save and to heal us. And because of this unbelief only a few were healed. Matthew even writes: “And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief” (Matthew 13:58). We see from this scripture that unbelief can hinder God to heal. That is why we will spend a whole unit on the topic of faith. Right here it was just important to show that even in this atmosphere of criticism and unbelief Jesus was able and willing to heal all those –even if it were only a few- who came to seek their healing.

To sum up, there is no single case in the gospels that Jesus ever said no to somebody who came to ask for his healing. Jesus has shown by his life and ministry that God wants to heal everybody always. There is no exception in the healing will of God.

Never we read that Jesus said that it was God’s plan for somebody to stay sick.

Never we read that Jesus said that God wanted to teach somebody something by being sick.

Never we read that Jesus refused to heal somebody.

The greatest thing of all is that Jesus has not changed. He is the same, yesterday, today and forever (Hebr. 13:8).

If Jesus healed yesterday he will heal today. If he wanted to heal everyone yesterday he still wants to heal everyone today.

As you see the bible is simple and very clear:
God wants to heal everyone which means that God also wants to heal you!

Maybe you do not know how but that does not matter. If God says he will there is going to be a way. Trust him! Rejoice and be happy because God wants your healing! It is his declared will to touch you and to take away this disease that has tortured you until today. Please join me in this prayer and –if possible- pray it out loud:

“Heavenly Father,

I thank you from all of my heart that you did not leave any doubt about what your will is.

Thank you for revealing yourself in your precious son Jesus and that you have shown your will to heal everybody in him.

I believe that you also want to heal me, that you want to touch me and take away my disease completely.

I shall live and not die because your will is my healing! Thank you, Lord!

I might not know how but I believe that there is going to be a way.

There is nothing impossible for you.

In the name of Jesus

Amen.”

Will you take a moment and Tell Jesus what you think.

When you sin He loved you this much
When you need a healing He loved you this much

By these stripes you are healed.
By these nails you are saved.

Are we thankful everyday for what he did.
Or do we have to look away because of the price he paid.

This has changed my life Jesus.
When I think of sin now I see the price you paid for me.
When I think Oh God do you love me, I now see how much.
When the devil try's to deceive me and say God will not forgive me this time all I have to do is come here to see how much you forgive me.

When I need a healing and the devil trys to say it is not for me.
All I have to do is come here and see the stripes you paid for my healing.

Thank you Jesus for what you have done.
I love you so much.
I pray many come here everyday just to remember.

That way when they are tempted theywill see the price of sin.

Thank You again.
