pastor Jerry
i had a pastor and his wife wrong me and my husband about 6 months ago, but that was just the last straw of numerious things that had happened over 3 years. We left the church and have been church hopping ever since(i hate it) But my question is this even tho I have forgiven them (really) I still am not wanting to be trusting of others in leadership, ergo: not finding a home church. I have prayed and been prayed over by numerious people, and i want to trust ( I know 99% of the leaders are not like this) but I can't. My hubby is a babe in Christ(4 years) and this has not helped him and me not wanting a home church is a bad impression and influence on him.
Any suggestions????????

You may not like my answer, but, here goes.

Talk to God about it.

Put it down!

Walk away from it!

STOP BOUNCING!!! and get yourself plugged into a church that teaches Christ crucified, resurrected and risen.

Get Baptized in the Holy Spirit if you haven't already.

Get on with working out your own Salvation and let the people who wounded you work out their own.

STOP! making excuses of why you can't and DO IT. You are the only one who can put a stop to this restlessness you are carrying around. The Spirit will help you but YOU have to do it.

I have been in your place and the sooner you can stop yourself, the better off you will be and the sooner you can resume doing the work God called you to. To coin an over used phrase...JUST DO IT!
