One day when I was reading the Bible, I got a major revie (revelation).
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to DESTRUCTION, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto LIFE, and few there be that find it.
I thought this verse meant that if we accept Jesus, we go to heaven. If we reject him, we go to hell. That is true, but it goes deeper too.
For example:
It's payday today. Will you take the first 10% and give the tithe to the Lord? Or will you take the broad way which most people take, and keep the tithe and spend it on yourself?
Broad way: Destruction in finances.
Narrow way: Blessing and prosperity.
It's 6:00am, time to get up and submit to the Lord in prayer and meditate on his Word. Will you take the broad way and hit the snooze button and skip prayer time? Or will you walk the narrow path and bask in the presence of the Lord?
Broad way: Destruction to peace of mind.
Narrow way: Peace that passes all understanding and joy unspeakable and full of glory.
The enemy/theif is in the broad way, he hates you. What will happen if you walk with the enemy? Will the enemy bless you? Or will he make your life a living hell?
Jesus is the way of life. With him are pleasures forever more, and peace and joy. Who will you walk with? People wonder why so much misery in life. Perhaps it's because they chose the wrong path to walk in.
So in every decision in your life, take the narrow way and save yourself a lot of grief and sorrow. And start living that life more abundantly, starting today amen?
John 10:10 The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.
Psalm 34:10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Isaiah 48:17-18
This is what the Lord says- your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
