We need to pray for this nation's courts. Judge stops Terri from having Communion

Terri Schiavo Denied Last Communion

Three days after a Florida court ordered that Terri Schiavo's feeding tube be removed so she would starve to death, her priest was barred from administering the sacrament of Communion one last time before she dies.

During a visit on Saturday to the hospice where she currently resides, Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, were joined by Monsignor Thaddeus Malinowski, who came to administer the Catholic rite of Viaticum, the last communion for a Catholic before death, the Associated Press said.

Police officers guarding the entrance to the hospice told the Schindlers that ingestion of the Communion wafer would violate a doctor's order that nothing be placed in Terri's mouth.

Though the priest promised to use only a small piece of the wafer, moistened with water to prevent choking, an attorney for Terri's husband, Michael, barred the procedure, allowing Malinowski to administer only a "spiritual Communion."

Father, is it cruelty to disallow communion or is it just another symptom of the flesh world encroaching on the Spiritual? All I know for certain is that all the people involved, Michael Shiavo, Bob & Mary Shindler, Terri, all the lawyers, doctors, police officer, judge & other officials need JESUS! That is all they need at the end of all this mess...to be able to stand before God and be forgiven because of Jesus. Father, I speak Salvation and Forgiveness over this situation and leave it in Your Hands. In JESUS NAME. Thank You Father for the compassion, mercy and grace that covers this situation and I ask that you increase it exponetially according to the anger and hate that this situation is exposing, please do not let the enemy win any satisfaction from knowing that he has caused discord in the body because of this, please keep Your hand firmlyover everyone involved. Thank You Father.

Lord, help us to turn back to you. Help us stop the decline of this wonderful nation. Please give us righteous judges in our courts.

Lord, I ask for Your Wisdom to flow over the whole situation.

Oh, Lord, hear our cry for Terri and her family and her caregivers.

I was wondering...Has anyone heard how Terri is doing since being put back on her feeding tube? There has been nothing here in the North West as to her condition since she was moved.

Lord, promote Godly men in this naiton. We need God in America again. We need juudges who will make reighteous decisions. We need more with the courage of Jeb Bush. Bless him and bless all like him. I pray that many more Godly men will be placed into public service. I pray that our rights to practice our faith are not taken away.

Terri's family has a web site with updates everyday
www.terrisfight*****. her birthday is Dec. 3rd she can have cards and cd's she loves music and animals so pictures of pets would be nice

I disagree with the judge, but I also disagree with Catholic rite of Viaticum.

That's nothing more than a religious exercise that makes some people feel like they're doing something to please God.

Communion should be done in remembrance of Jesus, and to celebrate and acknowledge the New Covenant we have with the Father through Jesus....not to pay homage to a man-made religion that has departed from the teachings of scripture centuries ago.

Mary and the pope is not our Savior, and to worship them is idolatry...plain & simple.
