Many Salvations Needed- Funeral

Guys...

The company in which I work for has lost a very important key person. Shannon died 2 nights ago in his sleep. I talked with Shannon a lot, and I am not sure if he was a christian or not. He knew..but I don't know if he applied. Pray that he actually was, because I would like to see Shannon again.

Also..pray for everyone else left behind. I can't help but believe, strongly, that the Lord wants to do something major with this. I know that in my company, locally, there are many people that do not know the Lord...and a lot of the ones that do, really do not act like it. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will start to fall down. I am known in my local area as a Christian, so pray for "appointments" to where the door will open to share what the Lord wants for these people. Pray that lots of people will get saved, and forsake their gods to come to God.

Also, pray for protection for me, as I know the enemy wants to tear me down, to steal, kill, and destroy. Help me to embrace the victory in Christ. Pray for my strength, my desire to be strong.

Do you work for Radio Shack also, Jeremy?

I work for RS here in NY, and I agree with you that this company needs a major spiritual make over.

I use my "qualifying" time to witness. I know that I am not allowed to mention God, but I have had people actually say to me that they can tell by my smile that I am a christian. I like that, the "silent" witnessing. I think that is much more effective anyway. I was able to witness to some teenagers that came in by "qualifying" them to the Franklin electronic Bibles... They had picked one up and were laughing about it. I walked up and took the oppurtunity to explain the benefits of owning one. It was awesome.

Anyway, I will pray for your company. I will also keep Shannon's friends and family in my prayers. I am still praying for yours and your wife's diet....how is that going??

Lord Jesus, reach out to Shannon's family and coworkers at this time of loss. Lord open their eyes to the love that You give and the salvation You so freely offer. Lord let the Holy Spirit fall upon this company and let there be great blessings fall upon it from many within it being saved. Lord also bless Jeremy as he goes forth as a witness to You. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

There is no funeral, no visitation, per a last minute will found. The Holy Spirit will have to work in another fashion, and I know that He can....pray for results...so many can come to know Him!
