My Dear Friends:

My heart is breaking. I normally would stay out of this fight but I can't stand on the sidelines any more. I don't mean to offend any of you but we are in a fight that I know we can't afford to lose.

Please read some of the attacks the NON-Christian world is doing to a man that Loves Jesus,
his name is General Jerry Boykin.
All he did was say lets pray.
All he did was do what so many of you have done, he shared his beliefs IN CHURCH
All he did was quote the verses that say we war not against flesh and blood but against...
All he did was quote the bible when it says God puts men in leadership.

I thought we had freedom of religion as a constitutional right
I thought we had freedom of worship
I thought we had freedom of speech

Now the media is saying we do not.
Shame one you Ted Koppel is your anger at God so big it has blinded the man who studied for the ministry.
Shame on the Tom Brodaw, have you forgotten the very heart of reporting the truth.
Shame on you ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN, are you so mad at God that you want to kill the bill of rights.

My friends The Lord is calling us to prayer.
The Lord is calling us to pray for Revival
The Lord is calling us to pray for repentance
If we don't we will lose everything.
Do not sit by please join us in this battle and enter a prayer today
If they can get away with this then you are next.

Look what they have already done
First they took God out of the schools.
Then they took God out of the pledge
They are trying to take prayer out of retirement homes, a judge has already ruled on this.
Then a judge denied communion to a woman dying.
Her rights to freedom of religion were refused.

The Bush administration's hatchet men (and women) have been quick to browbeat critics of the reckless invasion of Iraq (news - web sites) -- questioning their patriotism and even accusing them of treason. But there has been no reprimand of Lt. Gen. William "Jerry" Boykin, a high-ranking Pentagon (news - web sites) official who has ridiculed Islam as "Satan" and dismissed Muslims as idol worshippers.
Instead, defense chief Donald Rumsfeld has initiated a low-profile "internal investigation" of Boykin's speeches, while praising the general's "outstanding" military record. But there seems little to investigate. Boykin's comments are on the record (and first reported by military affairs analyst William Arkin, writing in the Los Angeles Times).
If anyone has given aid and comfort to the enemy, Boykin has. During the past several months, the general -- who is deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence and charged with finding high-profile targets, such as Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) -- has appeared in conservative Christian pulpits around the country, often in uniform, to declare the war on terror a "spiritual battle." His foolish, bigoted remarks will be repeated ad nauseam on Arab TV and used to buttress the view of Islamic extremists, who insist the United States has launched a latter-day crusade against Islam. If you listen to Boykin, perhaps we have.

Lt. Gen. Willam Boykin should voluntarily step aside as deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence after his recent inflammatory remarks disparaging Islam. Barring that, he should be reassigned within the Pentagon until the investigation into his remarks is complete.

Boykin, an evangelical Christian, came under fire recently after he appeared in uniform at several churches and cast the war on terror in religious terms. Among other things, Boykin said the real enemy in the fight against terrorism is Satan. He also said the Muslims worship "idols, not a real God," and that George W. Bush was in the White House "because God put him there." Significantly, Bush has distanced himself from Boykin's comments, saying they "don't reflect my opinion," and that it was "not what the government believes," but he hasn't condemned them

In June of 2002, Jerry Boykin stepped to the pulpit at the First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow, Okla., and described a set of photographs he had taken of Mogadishu, Somalia, from an Army helicopter in 1993.

The photographs were taken shortly after the disastrous "Blackhawk Down" mission had resulted in the death of 18 Americans. When Boykin came home and had them developed, he said, he noticed a strange dark mark over the city. He had an imagery interpreter trained by the military look at the mark. "This is not a blemish on your photograph," the interpreter told him, "This is real."

"Ladies and gentleman, this is your enemy," Boykin said to the congregation as he flashed his pictures on a screen. "It is the principalities of darkness. . . . It is a demonic presence in that city that God revealed to me as the enemy."

That's an unusual message for a high-ranking U.S. military official to deliver. But Boykin does it frequently.

This June, for instance, at the pulpit of the Good Shepherd Community Church in Sandy, Ore., he displayed slides of Osama bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and North Korea's Kim Jung Il. "Why do they hate us?" Boykin asked. "The answer to that is because we're a Christian nation. . . . We are hated because we are a nation of believers."

Our "spiritual enemy," Boykin continued, "will only be defeated if we come against them in the name of Jesus."

Yes, Jerry, you are right, and this man loves Jesus and has loved Him all his life. It is exactly true that he is being betrayed by the country he has been willing to die for in the name of freedom, but his demeanor and his view on things, has been this way since always.
While this man will step down and go through many human emotions, know that he has that many more crowns to lay before His King. I do not condone what has happened to him, I am in total agreement with his views on what is going on in the world today AND more importantly, if we do not share our views and people learn to realize where the true fight is, what are we leaving our children??? It's time, I've been saying that for a few years now, wondering when all this stuff we focus on in the Middle East came to light what was really happening. I have not received a word from God that the time is drawing near, but I believe in my heart that we are in a spiritual battle and God is getting His children ready. General Boykin is being persecuted by the very people he has been ready to lay down his life for, the media LOVES this kind of thing and it is so, so sad. As a soldier, Lieutenant General, and choosing to wear his uniform when he speaks, he has marked himself as a target. I cannot think anything other than he knew what would come of this, but he knew it was a fight with a truer cause than any other fight has ever been.
Our prayers need to be for Lt Gen Boykin, to help him through this time and to feel Jesus and everything that happens in his life to be to the glory of Jesus - LtGen Boykin knows God has overcome the world, and that's how he lives his life, he needs to continue to stand firm and strong in his faith.
We also need to pray for his persecutors, those blinded by how they can bring a man down for whatever reason. They are truly accountable for their misdeeds before God, and they are so very lost.
Lord God, I lift Your Child, Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin, to you to hold and comfort and help him stand, leaning only on You and knowing how much you love him and how proud you are of him. Help his family through this, to handle media sensationalism at it's lowest, it's such a hard thing to bear. Father God, I pray for those that have come against our rights to speak of You that have made this spritual battle even bigger. If ever there was a time to scream Your Name from the mountain tops, it is now. Father God, I thank you for men like Jerry Boykin that we can be proud of, that we know you are smiling at, and for using him to carry your message to us.

I am really disappointed at the prayer board today.
If we don't pray for our rights then the word of God says the Lord will let satan take them away.

[COLOR=navy][SIZE=4]LET'S WAKE UP AND START PRAYING FOR REVIVAL OR WE WILL BE LOST. The word of God say's the Lord is looking for someone to pray. Eze 22:30 I looked for someone to stand in the gap and make up a hedge of protection so I did not have to destroy. But I found none, therefore I poured out my wrath by letting them have their own way.

If we Christians do not pray satan wins.
Now I am calling all of my friends to pray for the nation.
Please don't let this slip by.

"Boykin, of course, is the decorated veteran of special operations who is now in charge of the search for uber-terrorists such as Osama bin Laden. A practicing Christian, he recently spoke to some church groups about the work he does. Not surprisingly, he stressed religious themes.

"His remarks were secretly recorded by a columnist who for some unfathomable reason has only been willing to release excerpts. Those excerpts have been characterized as shocking and offensive to Muslims -- akin to the kind of anti-Semitism spouted by Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad at the Islamic Summit Conference the other day. Quite a few usually level-headed types are up in arms. Sen. John Warner (R., Va.) has called for an investigation. Pundit Fareed Zakaria has called for Boykin to be fired.

Father God, we come again to you and ask you to lift Your Child, Jerry Boykin, and hold him close as he comes up against persecution for Your Name. Father, this is a special man whom You alone have chosen to receive insight on what is going on in the world today and be in the position to do something that not all the world can see. Please let everyone hear those words, Father, and know that they are not simply coming from the man, but from the Spirit within the man. Jerry Boykin is a man of God, and we lift him before You and ask you to protect him and bless him and reveal yourself through him. If ever there was a time to speak out against the principalities of darkness and tell people of Your Son and the awesome gift of grace You have given us through Your Son, the time is NOW. I ask You to let his words be heard and although there might be little victory on this earth for us to see, let his crowns and treasures in heaven be many. I ask that seeds be planted through his words and that they spread like wildfire among believers and that we, are bold enough to go out into the world and speak FOR YOU.

We enjoy religious freedom and free speech in this country, or at least it seems some people do.
Lord, we ask that General Boykin not be removed from his post. Please stop the persectution going out against this man. Bless him for speaking Your words and truth to the world despite it being unpopular. Let your glory be shown by the truth of his words.

Lord Jesus, bring General Boykin under Your arms of protection and guard him against the attacks of Satan which are coming at him through the media. Father help us as Christians to take back this nation which we have so carelessly given over to Satan. Lord open our eyes and our hearts to what we are losing and bring out our spirit to fight and set us on the right track to take back what You have given us. This is the United States of America in 2003. An under secretary of defense calling the God of the Muslims an idol and no match for the Christian God and only God. For God's sake, wake up to your evangelical haze and delusion. The Christian right is FAR more dangerous than the Islamic fundamentalist. I wonder what GOD thinks of all this hubris and bull****. He's probably very disappointed or diffident. Then again, maybe he doesn't care in the least about Christians spouting literalisms that miss the message of Jesus by light years. God help us all through this!

God Almighty, I lift up Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin to you and I pray for him and his loved ones - that you Lord will be their hope and strength. I pray Father for a hedge of protection around them. Father, I pray that what was meant for bad be turned around for good, for your glory.

Lord I thank You for those who are willing to stand up for the truth. For too long Lord we have allowed satan to infiltrate even our Christain experience. Lord I pray that we will no longer "play"with Your word. That we will no longer be concerned about pleasing men but that we will be a people who please You. Father, Thank You that we still have men and women in the leadership of this country who are not afraid to stand up for what they believe in. Weave a hedge of protection around them that the enemy cannot penetrate. Jesus, be their strong Shield against the weapons of the enemy. Holy spirit, be there to strengthen their resolve in their weak moments and comfort them when the warfare begins to drag at them. Angels, keep them and their families safe from all harm. Father, also, lead the attackers into repentance and a saving knowledge of Your Grace so that they will understand first hand what Gen. Boykin was speaking of. Thank You Father that we live in America and have freedoms that many people do not have, the Freedoms of Speech, Religion, and Worship. Do not let us become complacent and stand by while these freedoms are eroded away like a castle of sand, You have built on rock a strong tower for us, the only way the enemy can destroy it is if we allow him too. Let us fight on our knees for these people and for the salvation of those who attack and for ourselves that we would be strong and stand against the rising tide of indifference and apathy that many Christians of America have fallen into. Thank You Father for Your authority given to us to use in the face of the enemy when we fight let Satan see You not us, and let him run in sheer terror of what he has tried to do. Father God, the enemy is coming against us like a flood. So put up that standard against it. No weapon formed against us shall prosper in the name of Jesus. Lord God, put the enemy in confusion. I claim the media for the Lord Jesus Christ. Let the enemy fall into his own trap. I pray a hedge of protection, and plead the blood of Jesus over this country and our freedom. Lord God, I pray for peace and wisdom for all those who are suffering persecution for you. Let us be as harmless as doves but wise as serpents (Matt.10:16). Father, your will be done and kingdom come, in your name and to your glory amen.

Well, I don't know much about politics, but I DO know when Christians are being unjustly persecuted. I will be praying for Gen. Boykin. We all need to stand in the gap, not only for him, but for the whole country. It is so evil, with sexual immorality, filth on TV and in movies, abortion, rape, murder, child abuse, and on and on. God bless all faithful prayer warriors.

Father, we as your church lift up this dear man who has got them talking about you. father you know what this man needs before we even ask but God we ask for protection and we ask for revival in this nation. you can make GOOD out of this. YOUR ARE BEING DEBATED

Was God interested in the government of men? I'd say so. Why are there Judges and 1&2 Kings? In the kings administration why is there written that they did evil or good if God didn't care about it? Was Paul sent to Rome? Did God send him to speak to Caesar too? Let's snap out of it and do what the Bible says and start interceding for our leaders. Amen? Why pray for politics? It only affects the whole world that's all.

What is the sign that one is living godly?: 2Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Also Luke 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

To suffer persecution is to be expected when one is living godly, the Bible says so. But are we to sit idly by when our freedom is being taken away? The least we can do is pray.

Our rights and freedoms are taken away because Christians stay out of politics. It's a religious spirit that says don't bother with it, let the enemy have it.

Sorry, I've been in the other prayer rooms I didn't notice this part of the prayer board. It's kinda hard to find, perhaps this should be first on the list? But when I log in, I usually go to the first part of the prayer board and work my way down. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. From now on, I will keep this part of the board first in mind when I come to pray.

Father God, I come again today to bring Jerry Boykin before you. I know that he is following Your will for his life, and it's a way he has always chosen. He was shown in the paper on Sunday wearing a shirt with an emblem on the sleeve that says "Real men love Jesus" - and it is so true!! Please give him Your comfort and Your peace as he does Your will. Continue to anoint him with Your word and let him not grow weary or disillusioned by what is happening to him, but to count it all joy because of the company he keeps with You. In Your Son's Name, Amen.

Our Father who lives in heaven, I come before you tonight in praise and thanksgiving for all you have done and is still doing for us. Lord You know what this is all about, You know the fears of your children and the attack against this man who praised You and spoke Your Name. Lord please place a hedge of protection, love and understanding around this man and each and every one of Your children. Give him and each and every one of us the freedom to speak Your name, to give praise to You and to shout from rooftops who You are.
Please grant this man the strength in faith to believe in what he says and to realise that if You are with him, nothing and nobody can be against him, therefore that he is safe and protected by You Lord. Lord please help this man to retain his post in employment and help him Lord to reach out to those who do not know You, and to turn them towards You. In the name of Jesus - Amen.

Father, in the Mighty name of Jesus we rise up in prayer, We stand with this brother, who is being persucted for his faith in you, Father you have placed this man in high places, and you are going to use him for you glory, Father he has heard your voice, and he seeks you with his whole heart, so Father, We stand together in Jesus name, We command the devil and all his troops, to back off now, in Jesus name, We poor the blood of Jesus over this man, in Jesus name, Father let your angels surrond this man, who you have places in a place of Power, let him hear your voice, Father, we also pray for a hedge of protection to sorround this man, so that nothing can come against him, and aslo we palce the armour of light ( (Romans 13:12) The night is far gone and the day is almost here. OK. That is it. The media needs to shut up if it has decided to come against our people. We were given this land by God. By God we will take back this land. We are fanatics and we are fanatics about God. He is here. He is real. Let the media bow down and deal with it.

I ask Father, in the Name of Jesus, that You will abundantly bless each reporter who has chosen to go against Your Word and has taken it upon themselves to try and condemn Your people. I pray that they be so blessed, they have no choice, but to seek Your Face as publicly as they have tried to denounce it.

I pray that their jobs are blessed, their homes are blessed, their finances are blown upon, and that relief can only be found in Your hand.
In Jesus' Name.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, anyone who comes against those who have been placed in leadership positions because You placed them there gets a special blessing from Your Hand. Let them see what their future holds for them if they continue to come against the Anointing. Amen.
