As a citizen of the west coast 9/11 didn't have too big an impact on me personally, but after watching this and seeing the reaction of the people as the buildings were collapsing it is quite an eye opener. I just pray that the Lord will prepare me for anything else that may happen and give us all grace and wisdom to use every opportunity to glorify Him and lead others to His Kingdom.

Thank You for taking the time to pray... You are one of the few to see what the Lord has shown me.

I remember how startled and shocked I felt the morning of 9/11. I received a call from my wife when the saw the second tower go down on live TV and had to give my daughter words of reassurance that God was still in control. These images remind me of those feelings.

The whole event seemed so surreal and was an eye opener for how close we are to the end times. Sometimes it is very easy to feel very distant from real problems that other countries like Israel face on a daily basis. I agree with Barrett. We should ask the Lord to give us an opportunity to plant seeds in open hearts .

Jesus, I thank You that in the midst of the destruction, fear and chaos, that You were there. You saved so many, Lord. I pray for the families of the victims, that they have peace that only You can give. I pray for healing of spirit. I pray Lord, that You send your warring angels to protect our borders, our President, and our men and women that are overseas. Let the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob, crush the enemy under His feet. Thank You, Jesus. Amen

Jerry, I did watch the video. Good isn't strong enough word for it, and I don't want to use the word awesome, because for this, it doesn't fit. It is very well done. It brought back the emotions that I was feeling the morning.

I remember when my radio alarm went off and I heard this going on, I first thought it was something like "War of the Worlds''. I was far removed, physically, but spiritually and mentally, I felt like I was there. I went to work that morning, and there was no activity. People were scared. No one was talking. I'm a hairdresser and I work a couple of days a week at this place. There are a few Christians there, and one of the gentlemen said a prayer at lunch time. People come together at a time like this, no matter how close or far you are from the devistation. My husband, who is not a Christian, knew that God kept it from being worse than it was. I think it made him realize how precious people are in the eyes of God, because it could have been so much worse.

Wow. I really don't know what else to say. I remember the day it happened. I remember everything about that day. I was sitting in my health class and someone had gone to the bathroom and came back to the room and said there are planes flying into everything. At the time no one really knew what was going on. Through out the day it was all anyone could talk about and that would be the way it was for months. During that day you would walk through the halls of my school and see people crying people trying to use the phones to call relatives and friends to make sure everyone was ok. It is hard to understand what would drive people to such extremes as on 9/11 but I also know it is important though difficult for us not to judge them or hate them. We should try and face this with a level head as I believe our President is doing an excellent job. I just pray that as the one year anniversary is today and people will be reliving everything that happened that God would touch the nation and ease the hurts and pains this nation has for lost friends and family members.

I have never been to New York City. I have lived all over the US of A and in the Far East. I'm to young to have lived through World War II or the Korean conflict. I do have many, many images of Vietnam. There is a horrific amount of destruction in a relatively small area, NYC, the pentagon, a field in Pennsylvania. The loss of life was much less than it could have been. To think that a nation that is building a space defense system (Star Wars) was attacked by a group of men armed only with box cutters. The two flights that hit NYC. The flight that hit the Pentagon. The flight that went down in Pennsylvania. All are indicative of all those who perished in these tragedies. American's will fight to the very end. Not always knowing the outcome. But fighting the good fight for truth, justice & freedom. To all those who perished on this terrible day of tragedy I can only say "Thank You!". You have proven that there is always hope. You have shown that the just shall triumph over evil. You fought the good fight.

It seemed to be a bunch of short videos that you could browse by date. They ran a little choppy on my machine, so I wasn't really clear if it was more of a slide show or a video. I could hear the audio clearly. I tried it again just now, but my browser seems to lock up.

I just want to say hi and let you know I'm praying for today and all God's people to be safe. He promises us we will be covered as long as we hold our hope in him and not man. We can only know He is the one taking care of us if we keep our eyes on Him and not look at the circumstances around us.Should there be an attack on our country we just need to continue to trust God knowing His promises will not return void and God does not speak idly so no matter what happens today we will be taken care of and we will see the blessings of God come forth. I bind the spirit of fear that would attempt to take our eyes off Jesus and look at the circumstances and I pray we stay strong in our faith knowing He loves us and will take care of us. You are special in His sight and He is with you always no matter what. May you have that child like faith He has given you.All is well just walk in the that faith.Trust in Him. You are royalty and He has his hand on you. God Bless you this day indeed.Jer. 33:3 is the scripture God reminds me of constantly and I believe it is for this time also. Love, Laurie Kidd

The movie reminds us all of how rapidly life can be snuffed out, how quickly things can change. The Bible says in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye....
In the year since the 9/11 attack we've seen the images--and for some of us it's still hard to comprehend the full impact of what happened.
I have often wondered what it would take to get this nation back to its roots, and this has been a small step, but yet we tend to forget as things begin "returning to normal." Is this the beginning of sorrows? Only God knows for sure--but the times have changed, this nation has changed and we need to be about our Father's business, to be assured that those we love will be with us for eternity.
I pray that the families and friends who lost loved ones will find their comfort in the Lord Jesus Christ, and begin to rebuild their lives. I pray that we as a nation will look to our roots--the foundation of liberty and freedom that so many lost their lives to give us. I pray that we would not look for revenge on people, but on the true enemy of every soul, the devil. May we be ever focused on the One who is the Prince of Peace--Jesus.

At first this tragedy seemed to me to be no different than any other East Coast train wreck or an a school bus accident. Very surreal. I'm pretty far removed from where these tragedies, these acts of terrorism, took place. But as I began to view the pictures, listen to and read the news reports, I began to change. My heart began to soften. To see the damage to the buildings. To witness the reactions of horror, even on the faces of New Yorks' finest. I began to draw into what was taking place. These people are not necessarily my flesh & blood, but we are all citizens of the same great nation. To see the explosions, the fire, to see the bodies falling from the towers, to see the buildings collapse, falling almost straight down. I forced myself to break through the wall of apathy. I opened myself to the grief, horror & pain. My heart went out, and still goes out, to the families, friends & communities of those who perished as a result of the despicable acts of cowardice & terrorism.

Do I believe that my country's response was justified? Yes, I do. Do I believe that I, as an individual or in partnership with some other(s), should go around bombing mosques or killing people? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

What I do is this: I pray for the families, friends, & communities of those who perished. I hail them as heroes. Unwitting heroes possibly, but heroes none the less.

Second, I pray for the innocents in the Muslim community who were or are being harmed or harassed by bigots. This is as senseless & horrific as whathappened in New York City, the Pentagon, & in a Pennsylvania field.

Third, I pray for the bigots & hot-heads who take matters into their own hands.

The WORD says "that no greater love has a person than that that person would lay down their life for a friend." All those who died becuase of these cowardly acts laid down their lives for all of us who survived. They are my friends. I do not want their memories sullied by further acts of cowardice or terrorism.

Thank you Lord for sparing so many lives that day. So many did not go to work or were delayed or cancelled their flights, and it was all because of Your loving hand. O Father and I especially thank you for being with the ones on the aircraft and in their offices that day doing just what comes normal to us--working and travelling. Lord I bless You for lovingly taking them into Your tender hands rescuing them from their captors. I bless You Almighty God maker of heaven and earth for opening my eyes that terrible day a year ago and for what You showed me about myself and how You changed me in the aftermath. O God, keep Your loving hand on us, hedge us in and protect us from evil and most of all, open our hearts to Your love that we may tell others of the love of Jesus and be changed so that they will no longer have to fly airplanes or carry bombs in order to be noticed. Forgive us for not paying attention. We love you Lord and ask that You light a fire in our souls that we may be a sweet smelling savor in Your nostrils. In Jesus name, I pray and for His sake. Amen and Amen.

You say you will never forget where you were when you heard the news on September 11, 2001. Neither will I.

I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room with a man who called his wife to say "Good-Bye." I held his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the peace to say, "Honey, I am not going to make it, but it is OK...I am ready to go." I was with his wife when he called as she fed breakfast to their children. I held her up as she tried to understand his words and as she realized he wasn't coming home that night.

I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a woman cried out to ME for help. "I have been knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!" I said. "Of course I will show you the way home - only believe in ME now."

I was at the base of the building with the Priest ministering to the injured and devastated souls. I took him home to tend to his flock in Heaven. He heard MY voice and answered.

I was on all four of those planes, in every seat, with every prayer. I was with the crew as they were overtaken. I was in the very hearts of the believers there, comforting and assuring them that their faith has saved them.

I was in Texas, Kansas, London. I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news. Did you sense ME?

I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew every name - though not all know ME. Some met ME for the first time on the 86th floor.

Some sought ME with their last breath. Some couldn't hear ME calling to them through the smoke and flames; "Come to ME... this way... take MY hand." Some chose, for the final time, to ignore ME. But, I was there.

I did not place you in the Tower that day. You may not know why, but I do. However, if you were there in that explosive moment in time, would you have reached for ME?

September 11, 2001 was not the end of the journey for you. But someday your journey will end. And I will be there for you as well. Seek ME now while I may be found. Then, at any moment, you know you are "ready to go." I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.

This was certainly a 'wake up' call, especially for the church in America. We can't let the opportunities go by without at least reaching out and touching someone with the love of Jesus.
I was scheduled to fly to the North East last Nov 15th. We delayed our trip for three weeks, not from fear, but some things needed to be cared for here at home.
It was our privilege to meet a number of Police Officers at every state capitol building of the nine states we visited, and to 'Thank' them for their great work.
I serve as a Police Chaplain here in the Northwest and take every opportunity to thank our Police and Fire personnel.
God bless You Jerry.

Jerry:
Thank you for allowing me to view this video. It is really something that tugs on all the world's heart. Here is Canada we felt the pain of the Americans. The signs in our city today give prayers to the Americans and state "God Bless America". I know that God was there and I know that God feels the pain of the survivors, and we truly do not know the reason for this, but we do know that our God is not a Bad God and our God does not set out to destroy for no reason. I pray for each and everyone of those people in every aspect of this disaster and hope that we learn something from this. I believe that in this society we honor the wrong things and always look to blame others for the wrong doings.
After this event happened, people drew together, Churches began to fill, and God became very present. I would like to find out if those same Churches are still full and is God still very present, or if through time that part of faith has faded. I hope not. Again, thank you for allowing this Canadian to visit this site and may God richly Bless you for all that you do.
God Bless
Wanderer, Bev McLaren

God, I thank You for sparing so many souls that day. On any normal day those buildings held over 50,000 people. Had the towers fallen over instead of down, many more would have been lost. I thank You God for Your divine intervention on that day. I thank You for holding those towers up long enough to evacuate the survivors. Looking back I see where you were there the whole time. Ten of thousands were literally spared that day because You moved in. God, help everyone else to see that. Comfort all those that mourn today, give them peace in knowing You are still on the throne. I praise Your name God. THANK YOU! In Jesus' name...amen!
