Financial provision/Care for my Mom

My mother is living with me now and needs 24-hour care. We've been turned down for government financial assistance because she still owns a home. (Tied up in a divorce settlement, it gets complicated). There is no money to pay anyone to stay with her. Yet, if I quit work (only work temp now anyway), we'll have no income to pay the rent.
My desire is to stay home and care for her, and also work on the ministry I've been called to do. However, I have no idea where the income we need will come. I have prayed and prayed, but no answers yet. I've even been to our church begging for volunteers to sit with her, and also for financial assistance. So far, nothing...
We are desperate...
