I am asking that you pray for a woman that I am very close to and myself. We are currently exploring the possibility of entering into a romantic relationship with one another, but we want to be sure that it is His will before we do it. We have both been hurt before, and both have emotional scars that need to be worked through.
I just ask that the Lord reveal His perfect will for each of us, and that He give us the strength to follow that will with all of our hearts and minds. If it is His will for us to be together, if we are 'the one' for each other, that He bring us closer together, and help us build a relationship with Him at it's foundation. And if that is not His plan for our lives, that he reveal that to us before either or both of us were to get hurt.
Open our eyes and hearts, Lord, so that we can know your will. And give us the strength to follow that will. Sometimes we see ourselves in a certain place, or with a certain type of person. Sometimes we are waiting for the gift with the shiny wrapping paper, and the big beautiful bow. However, sometimes the most precious gifts come in a plain brown wrapper. Help us recognize your will, and make us bold so that we can follow your will.

After so long of a time of being alone, the Lord has finally brought me together with the one that He has set aside for me. Each of us has been through many trials in our lives, which have left us with emotional pains from the past.
We have recently make our feelings known to one another, and have decided to allow the Lord to lead us wherever He will in this. However, since we have done this, Satan has taken the opportunity to confront us with distractions and temptations. The only reason for this is to distract us from His perfect will, and to keep us from doing what He has set oout for our lives.
I pray that the Lord will shield our hearts, and giude us along the path which He has laid out for us. Give us the strength, Lord, to not be distracted by the things which Satan will place in our way. he has begun to put others in our path, and tried to get us to see another as an easier road to the love and partnership that we feel he has given us in each other.
Take these distractions and temptations from us Lord, and guide our decisions and ouir will, so that we may foloow you will for our lives.
