Dear Lord, what is wrong with the Body? Why so many immature people? Why so many frustrated gifted people? Why is the Body ineffective in the earth? Lord, why?
MY BELOVED WITHIN THE BODY CANNOT COME TO MATURITY AND FULLNESS IF YOU DO NOT RELEASE MY BODY INTO THE MINISTRIES I HAVE CALLED THEM INTO!
Ephesians 4: 11 He is the one who gave these gifts to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ, 13 until we come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different or because someone has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will hold to the truth in love, becoming more and more in every way like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
“Beloved, it is not the fault of the saints that they are immature and not moving in their ministry gifts, it is the fault of those who have or have not equipped them AND released them! There are many choice servants who have been taught the doctrines of men rather than My pure doctrine! Many have been taught a false understanding of servant leadership and of how My Body is to be equipped and released to function. Many are simply repeating the biases of those who have gone before them, all the while thinking that what they are doing honours Me and extends the Kingdom in the earth! Unless those who have been appointed by other men awaken to My Spirit and the truth of My word, much of what I am already doing in the earth shall surely pass them by! They may earnestly desire Me and desire the visitation I have promised, but many, many are unprepared for the cost of My coming! My coming visitation will shake up the very foundations of what many have known and understood the church to be! Many are ready, but many, many more are not!
HUMAN PARADIGMS OF LEADERSHIP HAVE SURPLANTED HOLY SPIRIT EMPOWERED AND HOLY SPIRIT LED SERVANTHOOD
“The more the days pass, the more influence your contemporary business world has on the church and how it functions in the world. The church is becoming more and more like the world! Those who are giving leadership are treating the church like a corporation! My church is NOT a business! My church is NOT a corporation bound by human laws that restrict and control it! And the ministry is NOT those appointed by your church boards and committees!
“Beloved, read My word carefully. My word shows clearly that those who are called to care for the flock of God are to be servants, and not masters lording it over the people! They are called to deny themselves and be willing to die for the flock! How many are willing to lose all to the point of death for the least among you? How many? I have called out the least to serve the greatest. I have called those who are NOT qualified by human standards, and My Spirit has equipped them, and I have released them into their calling to serve and die for the flock! Count the cost Beloved! Count the cost! For by responding to My calling, you enter the live of servanthood, of serving others, and a life of dieing to self for the sake of My gospel and My Bride!
“Ministry is not found in those professionals who teach and preach. The ministry of those with five fold anointing is to equip AND release! For centuries there has been equipping and even in your own day equipping is significantly more efficient and diverse in methodology and technique. The problem with the church today is not in a lack of equipping, but in a LACK OF RELEASING! Those in “leadership” believe that THEY are the ministry! They are NOT the ministry! Those they equip are to be equipped and released IN THE MINISTRY! The ministers of God ARE THE PEOPLE that are being equipped!
FRUSTRATION LEADS TO REBELLION
“When people discover their gifts and their callings which are irrevocable! They are from Me, and My Spirit gives them out according to My sovereign will! These gifts stir up people and motivate people to serve Me and they are constantly looking for those who are like gifted and for opportunities to grow into their gift and calling and a place in which to express that gift! Those who are servants to the Body are to come alongside, equip the people and release them, help them find a place for them to serve in their ministry. When servants do this, then they are fulfilling their own calling to equip and release the body in ministry. This is their ministry, to equip and release. They are not the ministry themselves, but those they equip and release are the ministry.
“When servants understand their ministry to be the chief ministers and to do all the visible ministry, they have been swayed by false teaching on ministry. They have been swayed by human understanding. The heart of the Father is for a KINGDOM OF PRIESTS, in the plural sense! All the peoples are priests to the Lord! They need to be released to function as to what they are or they will become frustrated, and when they are constantly frustrated and stifled from expressing their gifts and callings, then the seeds of rebellion will ferment, and discord and discontent will rise up, resulting in disunity. The disunity will bring a break in relationship as people will no longer tolerate the lording over them by others, and in their frustration they will walk away from whatever relationships they have in order to find a place in which to be free to function!
“The greatest casualty in this war are those who are called, equipped and frustrated themselves! They will unleash a cycle that will repeat itself no matter where they go until they come to a place of repentance with those servants and seek My face for My direction. These dear ones will seek to obey My voice and express their calling, but if they do so in frustration, and not out of a release, they will create a self destructive cycle of pain their lives. The best anyone can do, is to seek My heart, and go to those who have been servants to them, and explain that they need to be blessed with a release to follow hard after My will. If this is done in humility and gentleness, and you are released, then you will be blessed and a cycle of destruction will not follow. If you are rejected for your desire to be released, stay humble and simply explain that you cannot remain in that expression of Body life and that you must follow your conscience and what My word has taught you. Make no accusations, and bless these servants, and go on your way in peace. If you honour them, then you will honour Me. If however, you are rejected, and you internalize that rejection and anger rises up in you, and you sever whatever relationship you had in anger, you will carry that judgment wherever you go, and I the Lord will not bless what you desire to see fulfilled in your lives. Be careful how you deal with your calling and gifting. For whatever you sow, you shall also reap. If you reap rebellion and you begin something new in rebellion, those who join with you, they too will rebel, and they will rebel against you!
THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE SAINTS HAS BEEN SURPLANTED BY THE FALSE DOCTRINE OF “COVERING”
“Beloved, the false doctrine of covering has risen in the church and is used to control the lives and ministries of those who are called by My Name. Many expressions of Body life are simply repeating what they have been taught by other men. It is about control and manipulation, although many would deny this. But it is control and it certainly is manipulation.
“Just as in the days of Samuel, the nation of Israel called for a king, to be like the other nations. They already had a king, and it was the Lord God Jehovah! I the Lord, gave them their king, but with a warning. That same spirit is alive in the Body. Many cry out for a “king” to rule over them. But their “king” is a “pastor”, a paid professional who has his own vision an his own understanding for ministry and outreach. While much of this is noble and good, its very premise and foundations is wrong. “Pastors” will be the ones with the “vision” and other people will be expected to catch his vision and go about being a part of the team that accomplishes it’s goals and objectives. That “pastor” will require of you your finances, your material goods, your time, your energy, all to fulfill his ministry and calling. Your life will be expended fulfilling another persons vision and ministry, just as the Israelites would lose a portion of their harvest, taxes, their sons, and their daughters, all for the sake of the King, his army and his palaces. Sound familiar? It is the same spirit at work today! Beloved, those who serve you are NOT to be as King Saul! But they are to be as Jesus, a servant who washed his disciples feet! Whom will you want as your servant?
“The false doctrine of “covering” is used to control and manipulate the daily lives of the saints! It is used to keep in line and to push a human agenda in the guise of advancing the Kingdom. If you were to ask of these servants whom they are accountable to, they would not be able to give you a clear answer! You are all choice servants of mine, and none among you are greater than another in My sight! You are all equal in My sight, but your function in the Body differs! It is the function of the gifts that differ, but that does not mean that one gift is superior to another! Elders are spiritual fathers who will guide and not take over family life! They are crises interveners and when the crises are over, they simply go back to being among all the others, letting the Spirit guide and direct the flow of body life within the church gathering! Servants serve and get out of the way to let others do what they are called to do! It is about mutual accountability to the Lord and to one another! There is a flat line relational functional structure and not a hierarchal structure! There is one Lord of the church and He is the head of the church! All others within the church are mutually accountable to the Son and to one another. No one lords it over another! Each one serves the other as unto the Lord! The will of the Father is fulfilled as each one submits to the leading of the Spirit and comes in unity and agreement as to where He is leading, and each one contributes their gift to the fulfillment of the purposes of the Father! This is how the Kingdom of God advances!
“This is what servanthood needs to become! To equip, and to give what others need, so that they in turn can be unleashed and released to function! Oh how I yearn to see My Body awaken to this truth! How I yearn to see the cycle of control and manipulation through the false teaching of “covering” removed and cast out! A true servant will not seek to control or manipulate, but will seek to be a spiritual father and mother to those who are called to be equipped and released. They will care for, nurture, disciple, teach, exhort, motivate, cheer and release their spiritual children to maturity in the Lord!
THE CHURCH OF CHRIST HAS SHIFTED FROM A POSITION OF GRACE AND FREEDOM TO THAT OF LAW AND CONTROL
“The church more and more is looking like and reflecting the Old Covenant of law that the New Covenant of grace. The church preaches and proclaims grace and then lives out and practices law! The church cannot see the full expression of dunamis power until it ceases to function like the Old Covenant community! Keeping the law was what mattered in the Old Covenant, but that was not good enough for the Israelites! They added to the Law so that even the Son declared to them that they made the Law a stumbling block for the people that kept them from the heart of the Father! This is true in your own day!
“Grace and freedom are to be the sure signs of the New Covenant community! Grace and freedom should abound and increase, but it is lacking in much of the Body! It is lacking because grace and freedom undermine the control systems in place in the current expressions of many expressions of body life in the church. Many servants feel the Kingdom cannot advance without their taking “leadership” and telling others what they need to do! Servants, who understand the Father heart of God, will become fathers, and pour out their lives in the lives of others, and through their love and forbearance, they will influence others, and when needed they will exhort in more direct ways so that others will see that grace and freedom are not antinomian, but in fact fulfill the law when the Son is allowed to express His live through their own lives. As people yield to the Spirit and align their wills to the will of the Father, the law is written upon their hearts, and it is lived out through the Son! There is no obligations as such, but there is a desire to fulfill the will of the Father and the Spirit will enable you to do so as the Son lives out His live in you more and more, and as you do more and more grace and freedom will manifest itself in your lives!
“The church cannot rely on the Old Covenant law, for much of the structure of the church has more in common with the Old Covenant priesthood, than the New Covenant priesthood! Beloved, there are no “classes of priests” any longer! You are a chosen generation and a holy priesthood unto the Lord! Do not control or manipulate one another, but serve one another as unto the Lord! Let the peace of Christ abound and may the Kingdom expand more and more, and may you know the grace and freedom that He has purchased for you!
PLEASING MAN HAS BECOME MORE IMPORTANT THAN PLEASING THE LORD
“The stark reality facing the church in your day, is that pleasing man and fulfilling the will of dynamic charismatic leaders is more important than obeying My word! The choice is yours today. The choice is to embrace all that the Father has for you or to embrace what others think the Father has for you! There is a stark difference between the two! You must choose today whom you will serve. Will you cry out for a king like Saul? Or will you acknowledge the King of kings as your king and rely on the wisdom and guidance of the Spirit? Will you seek to please men, or please the Lord?
