Extremely Unhappy in Marriage

Please pray for me.

I married my husband a few years ago after he swept me
off my feet.

After we married he started being mean to me saying horrible
things. It has been emotional abuse as far as I'm concerned.
Just this year especially when we faught, it turned physical.

We have hit each other. He has kicked me in the chest when
I wasn't looking. He has grabbed my wrists so tight that it
made marks and pushed me against the wall and wouldn't let
me go. He has held me down on the couch and hit me in the
head a couple times and it hurt me for a day.

I do not like the way he treats me. He denies anything is his
fault. There are so many times he has been so nasty to me
in his words. I have told him year after year that this is a
problem.

He has said nasty things in front of my stepsons too and
I don't really think that they respect me because they see
how their father treats me.

He gets defensive if I need to discipline his sons. Yet I
do everything in our home for everyone. I feel like I have
no say.

I really want to get away from him. I am drained in every way
from the past four years with him.

This is not a healthy marriage. Please pray for me.

Lord Jesus, I ask that You move in a mighty way in this home and this family. Lord, I ask that You put a conviction on this husband's heart to turn to You, Lord Jesus. I ask for protection for Cheryl as she stands in prayer for her marriage and family. Lord, You know the work that needs to be done in this situation, and I ask a hedge of protection be placed around the members of this family, that the enemy will have no way in to interfere with Your work, Lord. I bind the enemy in the NAME OF JESUS, and ask for a healing to take place in this man's life. A supernatural healing, Lord, a complete and total Spirit filled salvation, that he can become the spiritual head of the household, and lead his family in a closer walk with You, Lord. Thank You Lord, for Cheryl's faith, and I ask that You be her Rock and her Fortress, her protection against the weapons of the enemy, Lord. For when You are for us, who can be against us? Thank You Lord for the miracle You will perform in this family, may it bring honor and glory to You alone, Lord, to be a testimony to all who witness it. Amen.
