I am a Christian and have been since 1978. However, I have been a closet smoker for a number of years. I am quitting! I am tired of having known sin in my life; I am tired of having my prayer hindered; I am tired of being in bondage; I need your prayers. My on-line quit buddy(Deidra) and I both have quit days of Nov. 3. If you have ever smoked you understand. If you haven't you can not begin to understand. I know the Lord will help but I need prayer for resistance and strength.
God bless you,

Dear God, I ask that You give Patsy a mighty miracle in her life, and break the bonds of smoking in her life! Give her the strength she needs to say no... give her healing from the effects smoking has had on her body! Dear God, I ask this in the name of Christ Jesus, You Holy and Precious Son~ amen and amen

Father, be Pasty's and Deidra's strength as they are taking the step to throw off what hinders their walk with you. Your Word says that they can do all things through you who strenghtens them. Father, help them be overcomers, to walk in victory, to keep their eyes and mind on you. I pray in the name, that is above every other name, above the name of nicotine addiction - the powerful name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus give Pasty and Deidra the strength they need to quit smoking and the peace and comfort they need to endure this time of trial that comes with quitting. Lord bless their efforts and their call to You for prayer. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

I was a smoker for at least 30 years. Not a closet smoker....a two and a half pack a day smoker. Trying to quit is like trying to learn how not to wear underwear anymore. (or it was for me)

Deliverance is the key, then. If God does it, it is a done deal.

Father, in the Name of Jesus I ask You to give one of Your obedient servants the message of deliverance for these two individuals. You sent a servant to me and I know You are no respecter of persons and You will do it for them, in Jesus Name, I thank You for what You are about to do. Amen.
