In the scene where one woman comes to him asking him to help her child he refuses helping her and says that he only came for his people. Why did he do that ? Didn't Jesus want to save the whole world but only the jews ? And why did he behave like this towards the woman ? These are things which I just don't understand. I mean sometimes Jesus is this nice guy and then he behaves totally different in the next situation and I don't know why.

Frederik, have Faith. Trust in God's wisdom, for it far exceeds out own. We can stretch out as far as we can with all worldly wisdom and reasoning, and not ever be able to touch the wisdom of God. He knows all things, knows what people needs, knows when to do them, and more importantly, Can do them. Trust in the actions of Jesus, for he is the righteous son of God. I know things he does may be odd to us, perhaps you have heard of Ananais and Seraphh (Acts 5), but trust in him. Satan is the prince of lies, and he will try to decieve you into losing faith, he has done that to me before. I backslid for three years because I became ashamed of God before others. It is written that if you are ashamed of Jesus in this World, than Jesus shall be ashamed of you before the Father. In all things Frederik, trust Jesus. He will never do you wrong, only help you. Rest assured that all things are done at their appointed times by God to give him Glory. This may be hard to understand or simply take in, but remember, God is ALMIGHTY. Read the bible as often as you can that you will grow stronger in Faith. The word of God is one of the most important things you can do, along with prayer, to grow spiritually. Praise to his Holy Name, AMEN!!!!

In that passage you notice that Jesus did heal the woman's daughter. The idea of the day was that the Messiah was the deliverer or Israel which this woman would have known. I believe Jesus was using this as a test of her faith and to show the world that the notion of Him being sent only to the Jews was wrong. Jesus told the woman more or less that she was meaningless but she still had faith that even in her worthlessness Jesus could answer her prayers. She knew that He was so great that even the "crumbs" of the miracles He did for the Jews would be enough to heal her daughter. Jesus rewarded her faith in a way He did not use often, by healing her daughter from a distance without even seeing her, and also this was no ordinary healing either, He cast out a demon without even being in the presence of the daughter. Jesus showed just how powerful and loveing He really was here.

I had trouble with this verse for many years myself, but I now see it as Jesus' expression of just how much He rewards faith and how much He loves us and wants to do great things for us. This is why it is written that only those who are God's can understand the Bible, and it took many years before I could understand this passage, only when God revealed it to me did I see the meaning behind it. So many people just become saved and never try to go any further in their understanding of God's word and will, I am really happy Frederik that you are seeking to know God's word and will more deeply, I wish every Christian had your hunger for understanding.

Yes. That's why He went to the Cross to bear the sins of mankind.
