Hi Jerry! Now you can't say that NO ONE has said hi to you in 3 days.

I trust that the Lord is blessing you and your family richly. I am grateful that logging into the web site is back to "normal" again--whatever normal is--it's certainly easier.

Good morning Ella. I missed you. Could I get you to do a search for the post you have made and copy them to the link below. I am getting ready to go on the road and I won't be back till Christmas. I wanted to write an article before I left of what the Lord has done.

I was trying to do the search and copy them over, but I'm not sure how to do that. Is there some real easy way that I don't know about?

If you notice at the bottom of this page is a search box. Just type in what you are search for. Like you name etc. then highlight the text and past it into the Post Reply box it really is easy

Dear Jerry,

I wanted to let you just how blessed I have been with the services this year. Frankly, like others, when Pastor Jeff first announced the meetings, I was not all that excited about it but determined that I would support my pastor. From the very first meeting this year, things have been different. You have seemed more focused, and it appears that the Lord is focusing us more. For the first time in a series of these meetings, there has been a totally different atmosphere, and it is exciting.

Before the meetings began, Pastor Jeff had cancelled Wednesday night services for the month of July. A few of us decided to get together on Wednesday nights and pray. The last Wednesday in July, the Lord gave us the following: “Just as it is in the natural, with fires breaking out all over this State, so it will be in the spiritual—the fire of the Holy Spirit breaking forth in every area of the State, and it will be fire that will be uncontrollable. The separate fires will begin to merge, even as some of the natural fires have merged, covering larger areas, and burning more rapidly.” The Lord then reminded us of the scripture in I Cor. 15:46 that says, “However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.” A few weeks later I saw a local newscast on TV and there on the screen were the words, “Oregon on Fire.” My heart leapt. I believe these words will be up again—but the next time it will be because of the Fire of God.

I also wanted to thank you for the “word” you spoke over me last night. When I got home and began to meditate a little more about what you said, I began to cry. Several of the things you said to me were confirmation of what the Lord had said to me, and what other people have also said. You are probably the first person who has said that they have seen others try to do what I do with the flute, but that it fell flat because it wasn’t the Holy Spirit. It’s very difficult to explain that to people. Others have asked me if I could teach them how to do what I do, and I’ve always said, “I don’t know if I can.” It’s never been that I don’t want them to be used in the same way, I really do. The only thing I have been able to say to them is ask the Holy Spirit. I remember the first time I ever “prophesied” on the flute, my mother said, “I never knew you could play like that.” (I was over 30 years old at the time, and had been play for over 20 years.) My response to her was, “I never knew I could either.” You were right, it’s not me, it’s the Holy Spirit playing through me.

You also mentioned something about me being a walking prophecy. This brought back a memory of someone else saying that I was for a sign and wonder (as Isaiah wrote in 8:18.)

Then you also said something about driving out demons and principalities as I allowed the Holy Spirit to play through me. This confirms something that the Lord spoke to me after He had me take the flute of stage and play over someone. At first I thought this was really goofy (and in the natural it is.) But the Lord took me to I Sam. 16:14-23, and showed me that this really wasn’t the first time He had used a musician to “drive out” demons. When I had asked the Lord about “playing over someone” he had shown me a picture of imps sitting on people’s shoulders screaming lies in their ears, and that as I played they not only were gagged, but eventually they would have to leave—allowing the person an opportunity to hear the truth of the Word of God that would set them free. It is an awesome responsibility and one that I never cease to be amazed that God would even begin to use me in.

I am very grateful that God brought me to this particular part of the body of Christ. It has been here, in a little country church, that God brought me to be healed so that I can get back into the battle.

You have been a part of that just by coming. Coming to a place that few people would want to come.

Thank you for being sold out to Jesus, and for allowing Jesus to use you. God’s richest blessings upon you, your family, and your staff.

Progressive Miracles

I just wanted you to know about one of those small, progressive miracles that is taking place in a young lady that attends New Life. Her name is Rochelle Weiss and she was at every meeting over the last month. Many people would say, "so what" but that is a miracle.

You see, she has been diagnosed with myestenia, a disorder that doesn't allow her brain to tell the rest of her body what to do properly. Since I have known her, she's never been able to do things that most children have been able to do. She was at the point of not being able to go to church functions 2 nights in a row, she was just too tired.

But God has been at work in her body. I checked with her mother yesterday and she said that even 6 months ago she would not have had the stamina to be able to attend the meetings as she did.

I also had the priviledge of praying with her and some of the other youth before one of the services, and this young lady has a heart for souls, and it's real. She also has a heart of compassion for the sick and hurting. She is a true warrior of the Lord Jesus!
