Dear Jerry
I just wanted to drop you a note of thanks....I know that what has
happened to me as a result of attending your meetings is not due to you,
but to God, however without your ministry I dont know where I would be
today. I first attended one of your meetings in sherwood a little over a
year ago...sitting way way in the back watching with a skeptical eye...
ready to go and tugging on my sisters sleeve to see if she is
ready...when down at the end of the aisle of chairs comes a booming voice
demanding "who are you??". Well i can tell you that about scared the very
bejeebers out of me and then here you came like a freight train...chairs
flying off from you like kindling on a railroad track. Yikes, all i
wanted to do was get out of there.....I kept trying to get my sisters
attention so she could explain that I was nobody and i was only there
because she tricked me. Would she just please explain to you??? All she
would do was cry and talk jibberish that made no sense....
I was sure I would always remember what you told me that night, but now
the only clear memory I retain is that GOD IS REAL and HE LOVES ME...
I had stopped believing in God over 30 years earlier after a tragic
family accident...but, now I find that God still is in the loving and the
healing business. What a revelation that was to me. The healing in my
heart and soul were the most precious gift i could have ever gotten. But
God was not through yet....a couple of weeks later on your last night in
sherwood you prayed for me to have a physical healing. I had a growth at
the base of my brain that had taken my hearing and sight on my right
side. You laid hands on and asked God to heal me....
I experienced extreme heat in my head for over 4 hours that night...by
the next morning I could hear and see and was pain free for the first
time in many months. I cant express to you my joy at being able to serve
such a great and wonderful God. He has brought into my life the most
unusual circumstances and incredible peole so that i can tell them of the
wonders His Love. My goodness...dont we serve an AWSOME GOD??
thank you
