Can anybody tell me why Good, Kind Loving and charitable people sufer more on this earth than those who are the complete opposite?
For example, Jesus Christ our lord was the most loving person on this world, he cared for everyone, cured everyone, gave to the poor, fed the starving, and he was made to suffer, upon the cross.
Another example, yes a man from a different religion to Jesus but still a loving and giving man was made to suffer too, this was Mahatma Ghandi, he loved everyone, couldn't understand why there was so much hate against people of otehr religions or skin colors, and tried so hard to make peace and love and charity around India, and hoped to take it around the world, yes you could say he was a martar, but he was made to suffer because of love.
Another loving and caring person in this world was Mother theresa and apparantly she died of a violent disease i think?
Why is it that loving, caring, and charitable people on this earth suffer for their love?
Like me... I have suffered most of my life all because i love people so much and i am giving and i generally love people with all my heart!
I am not a materialitisc person, and to me the only thing that makes me happy is acceptance and the fact i have a duty to care for those, who are unhappy and those who are unfulfilled.
Like my Gene, he is the most miserable and sorry person in the world, i hoped my love and care woudl change him into a good and hoenst person... he loves me, but because he thinks i am too good to be true he pushes me away!
Everyone who i treat teh same, with friendship, love, care and sometimes charity, always pushes me away, and hurts my feelings, all because they are afraid that i am after something in return and i am never wanting anything in return whatsoever!
Except in gene's case i want to marry him, but thats because he wants to marry me too, and he has th same values of a married life as i do, not the girlfriend boyfriend type morals however
Please can someone tell me why the good suffer?
I think JG may know the answer?
Tina.

You really don't know why Jesus had to suffer ? Are you for real ?

Jesus had to suffer because of us.
He suffered for our sins and iniquities.
He carried our diseases, this is why he had to suffer.
Christians also suffer, more than atheists. Cause christians are persecuted because of their beliefs and you know why ? Cause Satan is the king of this world. This is his battlefield. Living isn't easy for christians. Life could be easy when you follow the wide path which most people go. Jesus told us to take the narrow way which is harder but in the end it's worth it. Take up your cross and follow me. Everybody has to take up his cross and this isn't meant to be fun, it's hard but it's worth it. Like Jesus said my burden is light.

Any more questions ?

I do know the whole story in which why he had to suffer, it was to show everyone to keep with God no matter what and when jesus died he came back to people in spirit form to tell them he is ok and that god is merciful... so i do now... i just want to know why all good peopel need to suffer... don't look at the question as a solid question, look at it beyond it... i am not naieve to my religion!!!

I believe if those who were Christians and are Godly ppl, would stop being so "Christian* per se, that they would not be bothered so much by Satan. Why bother someone who is doing your work? As was said so elequently on TBN yesterday by Jaunita Bynum, a prophetess for God. GOD wants to give us the AUTHORITY! How do we gain it? through experience, of trials and trubulations, and being faithful, keeping on believing through the trial. he is saying the devil will not bother those who are not doing something,he won't show up unless he thinks that he can stop something
It is a POWERFUL thing that God is doing, where we are under attack.remember after the miracle of the rain with Elijah? When the land had been so dry for so long? After that victory... Elijah went into solace, into a cave, asking God to take his life...
1 Kings 19:4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, it is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.
God sent an angel... King James
1 Kings 19:5 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat"
It is AFTER we have the victories, that we have the tribulations! Or when we work hard for the Lord, doing His Work!
Jaunita said as Christians, we have to know that we HAVe the AUTHORITY when we are in OBEDIANCE to GOd! The authority to cast out demons, to heal the sick, to even raise the dead!

AUTHORITY=Strong's Ref. # 1849
Romanized exousia
Pronounced ex-oo-see'-ah
from GSN1832 (in the sense of ability); privilege, i.e. (subjectively) force, capacity, competency, freedom, or (objectively) mastery (concretely, magistrate, superhuman, potentate, token of control), delegated influence:
KJV--authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.

-- King James
Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and AUTHORITY over all devils, and to cure diseases."
Get that?? WE can have that same power, we are the ones who thwart it, NOT GOD!! We do so by how we live... The prophetess exhorts us to live as God would have us live... Jesus is our example...yes He knows we fall short, that is why Jesus is our intercessor.
Anyone able to get TBN should watch this prophetess Jaunita Bynum on the Praise-a-thon...she said that the Holy Spirit of God laid it on her heart to have the program with her msg play for 3 times, each part...that means today (Saturday), the first part will be on again..and Sunday the 2nd part... Saints and brethren..this is POWERFUL STUFF!! PLS check it out if you are able!

Jesus died so that we do not suffer

Hi friend,

The truth is that God never wants us to suffer, he has never planned a single bad thing for us. Jim.
