Conditions to answered prayer

Hi Jerry,
I read a story of a man who used to be a disciple of Satan.
This man could leave his body and fly through the air. ( I know this sounds crazy) However, he used to "fly" attacks on churches with other demons and he led demons into the battle. To make a long story short, he got saved one day and then he talked about his experiences.
Now comes the important part:
He said that every human has his own angel who delivers the prayers to God and he also said that demons can try to stop this angel and steal his time and also prayers from him, which means that these prayers never reach God. Is this possible ?
He also said that around the earth there is something like a layer and not every prayer is able to break through this layer and actually reach God. He said that short prayers simply bounce off this layer and don't get through it while long, intense prayers break through it and reach God.

What do you think about this whole stuff ? Is this just fiction or is it really true and if it's true what does this mean for us ? Do we have to pray for hours to reach God and what about the angels which deliver prayers ?

You said: "He said that every human has his own angel"
Jesus said: MAT 18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
PSA 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
PSA 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
MAT 4:11 ¶ Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
MAT 26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
LUK 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
ACS 5:19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,
ACS 8:26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
ACS 27:23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, 27:24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

Yes, Jesus said ask and keep on asking until you get the answer..MAT 7:7 Ask (and keep on asking), and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Daniel prayed for 21 days. If he had stopped the 20th day he may not have gotten the answer. Satan was hindering the answer.

DNL 10:4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which [is] Hiddekel; 10:5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins [were] girded with fine gold of Uphaz: 10:6 His body also [was] like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.10:7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so thatthey fled to hide themselves......DNL 10:11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia..

But Jesus also said through James: JAM 5:16 Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

And Jesus said: JOH 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

And Jesus said through John: 1JO 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, [then] have we confidence toward God. 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

ARE THERE CONDITIONS TO PRAYER: Yes.
But like anything in life when the conditions are met "Nothing is impossible"

You said: "these prayers never reach God. Is this possible"
Jesus said through John: 1JO 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

we must ask in faith. JAM 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

JAM 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume [it] upon your lusts.

Here we see at least five conditions to answered prayer:
1: Confidence we have no sin issues.
2: Confidence we are praying according to the will of God not our lust.
3: Confidence we are praying in the Name of Jesus.
4: Confidence we are praying in faith not doubting
5: Confidence we are praying for the Glory of God not our self.

If we have
faith and
confidence and
perseverance and
we are coming in the name of the Lord and
authority and
power of the Holy Spirit
nothing can stop us.

Because if we pray in the HOLY SPIRIT
God is PRAYING US.
So it is impossible for God not to hear Himself.

ROM 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings (in us) which cannot be uttered. 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God. 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

So you see even if you do not know the will of God, the Holy Spirit will pray in you. The first thing he does is pray the Will of the Father. The second thing he does is pray for you and your weaknesses. He does this to help you first. He then prays for the rest of the Saints according to the will of the Father. So He gets a lot done in a very short time.

You said: "something like a layer and not every prayer is able to break through this layer"

The word says: ISA 60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

The word says: LEV 26:18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 26:19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

The only ones that have a heaven like IRON where their prayers can not get through are those in sin:
ISA 59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.

As with everything the devil does he only speaks half truths.
Can the devil hinder the prayers of saints. He can only slow them down but if we pray in faith nothing can stop us.

Thanks for taking the time to answer this !

Because if we pray in the HOLY SPIRIT

How do you pray in the holy spirit ? is this the same as speaking in tongues ?
I cannot speak in tongues and this means that I have a great disadvantage.

Daniel prayed for 21 days. If he had stopped the 20th day he may not have gotten the answer.
Satan was hindering the answer.

How do you know how long you have to pray ?
I don't even know how you pray for such a long time. What did he do all the 21 days ?
