My reason to pray is always changing. One of my prayers is change me to know you more LORD so I can truly fulfill the Greatest Commandment. "Mat 22:38 this is the first and great commandment. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 39 And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” I do not know how to love so I do not know how to fulfill the greatest commandment. My desire is to Love GOD so much I will never put anything in front of him. Praise GOD!

Because he loved me so much he stretched his arms and died and rose again so that i might be able to be forgiven...... He prayed to his father in heaven...... Our father wich art in heaven ect ect....

I pray because God is like my best friend, only better. Because there isn't a busy tone if the phone is busy he is always available. But it isn't like talking on a phone either because he comes and meets with me personally. I pray when I have something I feel I need to talk about and who better then to talk to something about then my daddy, because I know he will always be there to listen, have compassion, guide me in the best way...his way, and just encourage me. Praying isn't something that I really think about when I am doing it, to me it is just like talking to my best friend. God is just so awesome like that.

I know this is going to sound wierd, but I pray to bless God. He asks me to pray for a lot of different things. I actually bless Him by saying, "Bless you Lord". It's a form of worhsip. I love Him with all that's in me. I agree with JFCK, There's no one better to talk to than Jesus.
