Repentence and Salvation

My husband of 34 years left the church and left me. I have gone through some old papers and now feel I was part of why he left the Christian religion. I repent my scornful attitudes, my jealousy, me self-centeredness, my shallow Christian belief, and pulling him away from the church where God had put him so he could find God, Christ, the Holy Spirit. He was given gifts and used them and they were appreciated and his prayer ministry grew. At the new chruch, prayer did not grow, he was prevented from using his other gifts as well. I don't know why he stayed there, except he thought I wanted him to. He has a problem with sexual addiction and he was not helped by this church or me. He, I believe, ended up feeling that there was no hope for him and that the Lord would not fix him, me, or our relationship. Now, I am learning the hard way, about myself. He has a whole new life on a path that is far from God. I fear for him. He is deeply involved in Tantra, chanting mantras, reiki, and has decided that "God" made him polyamorous and he is happy again. He was happy when he first found God. I don't know if our marriage can be saved, but I pray God will repair it if it is his will. More important, I pray that God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit move in Bob's life and bring him back into the fold for the sake of his salvation. He is not a perfect man, and like me, needs to change, but there is a really good man in there, a caring man who, like me, did not know how to deal with childhood hurts and with those in our relationship. Dear Lord, forgive me, and as his covenant wife, I ask your forgiveness on Bob, and that we can forgive each other. Help us to even talk to each other. Everything feels like Satan is winning because we are not right with you, Lord. Help us as only you can. I pray this in the name of the Lord, in the name of his son, Jesus Christ, and in the name of His Holy Spirit! Amen and Amen!

Lord Jesus, come to Bob in a mighty way tonight and show him who You are. Lord grant him sight to see Your will and to see the lies Satan has placed before him for what they are. Lord quench his desires for the things of the world and open his heart to desires for You. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
