Live broadcast of revival services in Tacoma

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Just wanted to let everyone know that we finally received the telephone line into the church we're holding services in. Each weeknight, at approximatelly 7pm (pacific) I will be doing a live broadcast of the services.
When you see this image at the top of the prayer board pages

Go ahead and click the graphic. You will be able to tune in and listen live!
I have been told by the phone company that the dsl will be installed by friday afternoon. At that point I will switch from an audio broadcast to a full audio/video broadcast. The broadcast will be sent in multiple streams, so anyone can tune in and watch, wether your on a modem or dsl.

Tonight we will once again have Roger McDuff ministering along with Jerry. He is a tremendous singer, and minister. You don't want to miss out on this.

Please if you have a moment tune in with us this evening, and the rest of the week. You will be blessed.

If you have any problems at all with the broadcast, please respond to this thread and let me know what was happening.

Hi Shawn - We have been tuning in from "sunny" Florida and while the services are very late for us (3 hour time difference) - they have been worth it.

I also just wanted to let you know - there are periods during the broadcast that the volume drops so low that you cannot hear at all... even with our controls turned all the way up. Not sure if there is anything you can do on your end to help keep the volume up?

We have been praying every night in our intercessory prayer time at our church for the revival in Tacoma.

"Let's Shake the Kingdom Together for Christ!"

Thank you for letting me know about the volume problems. I am working on a solution for that and it should be much better tonight. As I'm sure you know, Jerry goes from very quiet to so loud that he actually clips the input microphone so trying to find a "happy" medium can be interesting. There is a very good posibility that the dsl has been installed into the church this afternoon. Once that happens I'll switch from just an audio feed to both audio and video. I hope to see you all there as the services have been amazing.

Shawn - Are the services continuing? It's now 7:20pm (Pacific Time) and no graphic to listen to the services?

I was not able to listen last night (Wednesday, Nov. 13th) either?

No link to the audio?

sorry everyone, yeah I did have some pretty major problems with the broadcast tonight. Last night, wednesday, I didn't goto the services, but was at home working on the site, so there was no broadcast. Tonight, no exaggeration, the minute i got connected to the net I was under a trojan horse attack. It's like a flood of viruses. My cpu was maxed out during the broadcast, which caused the stuttering on the audio. I will take steps to make sure this doesn't happen again if possible.
Our next broadcast will either be monday night or tuesday night. I may need to run some errands for mom on monday so I may not be there, not sure yet. I will come up with a calendar or something to notify everyone which days I will be broadcasting. I spoke to qwest today about the dsl and it is now installed, I am just waiting for the modem which should be early next week. Heheheh, we could pray for monday.
We could also all pray that I get a new laptop to better handle the load of processing the signal for broadcasting..... (on my christmas wishlist allready)... hint hint dad.....
Anyhow, thank you all for sticking this out with me. The broadcasting tool will someday become every bit as big as the prayer board is. My dream is still to have a network of revival church's broadcasting 24/7 so any time of the day you need a "pick me up", there will be a place to tune in and become a part.

Hallelujah!!! That wuold be awesome, Shawn!!! Thanks for the heads up on what to pray for!!! I remember being in the meetings (Mount Vernon and Kirkland) and when we would stand up front, I would feel burning tingles in my feet. I often feel that when I am sitting here typing. The minute I sat down today, the tingles started. If I could hear the live broadcast while I typed prayers....whoo! That would be something!!!

Was there a meeting tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 18th?

I couldn't make it to the meeting last night or tonight.

I heard about 20 seconds of an audio feed last night then it all disappeared.

Tonight the icon for the feed never did appear.

I suspect the bugs are still be worked out?

I hope to get there tomorrow night in person!

I was not able to broadcast the services. Now it turns out our broadcasting server is toast... wow, what a battle, one thing after the next. I personally am leaving with a friend for Arizona in the morning, and will not be back untill thanksgiving. I will resume the broadcasts at that point if I can get everything working correctly. It is a lot of work maintaining a network that can handle thousands of people watching live, and these attacks are not helping... just another area that needs more prayer I spose...
