Pray for mother to stop gambling away all her housekeeping money

h Hello Everyone, thank you for your prayers, could I please ask that you continue to pray that my mother will stop gambling, she is going to end up with nothing if she carries on like this, and I am unable to support her and myself, I cannot pay for everything on my salary. Since my parents divorced earlier this year she uses the excuse to go to the casino and gamble, that she has nothing else to do, it all started innocently, but now she is addicted and uses all her housekeeping money at the casino and then I have to give her money for groceries the lights and water and anything else that needs paying and I cant afford this, I cannot believe how my mother has changed with this gambling and whenever we (my sisters or I, they are married and I am the only one that still lives with my mom) try and speak to her about it she gets all defensive and argumentative about it, but it really isnt fair on me, can I please ask you to pray that she will brake this habbit of having to go and gamble her money away... I also want to ask you to pray that she will go with me to church on Sundays, I am going to ask her again tonight if she wont attend the church service with me on Sunday morning, she usually has an excuse, but I pray that she will say yes and maybe if she could make friends at the church and find other interests then she would stay away from the casino.. Please Lord answer my prayer, I know all things are possible with You and You alone.

Dear Lord I lift up Elda to you in prayer, she is facing an incredibly difficult time at home with her mother. Please send your angels to do battle with the evil ones surrounding and dominating Elda's mom at this time, in the name of Jesus Christ. Please watch over her and keep her from self-pity. Place in her a clean heart that looks to others and provide for them. Help Elda' mom to feel worthy of your love, despite a divorce and all the feelingss of rejection that come with that. Lord, I pray for Elda to have strength in dealing with her mom, that she continue to be a Christian example but that she also let you have your way with her mom. Help Elda to know the difference between helping and enabling her mom's addiction. If Elda's mom won't go to gambler's annonomus(sp) maybe Elda can go for herself to learn how to best deal with the problem. Just watch over the whole situation Lord and grant each woman what she stands in need of right now in their life. In Jesus Name, Amen
