Let's say an atheists decides to read the bible and the koran, how is he supposed to find out that the bible is true while the koran is only made up nonsense ? I mean first of all they are both old books and just because they are old doesn't mean they are true. Both religions have many millions of adherents which will say that only their religion is the true one. So how is this man supposed to find the truth ? Just because he reads the bible doesn't mean that he'll accept it as the truth. I mean he is an atheists searching for answers, he doesn't have the holy spirit and is not connected to God. Does this mean that the bible will not really impress his heart ? Does this mean that the words will bounce of him and do nothing ?What do you think ? When an atheists reads the bible to find out wether it's true, is this enough reason for God to "reward" this and help him somehow finding the truth or doesn't God do anything for this man cause he's an atheist ?
I know many people which say that they read the whole bible but they didn't become christians because of this, so what did they do wrong ?

I didn't have this problem cause somehow I always believed in God and because I only knew one religion which is christianity it was no question for me that this God is the christian god, but if I had grown up in a muslim country then I would have thought that allah is the real god.
I am just a christian cause I was lucky for having been born in a christian country ?

Well it says that no man comes to Salvation except that the Holy Spirit draws him to it. I think that if someone is truely seeking truth the Holy Spirit will reveal enough to him to bring him to salvation. That is He will help him to know that Jesus was the only begotten son of God and that He remained sinless and died for our sins and rose from the grave which is what sealed it for us who believe to be saved. Beyone that I think you must be saved for any other truths to be revealed, unless God has a special purpose for revealing them.

Because one book is powerful and alive (quick) and the other is not.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Well, the Word of God instructs us that we will know the spirit of a thing by its fruits.

Our adversary has come to steal, kill and destroy. Those are his fruits.

Three of the fruits of the Spirit of God are peace, love and joy. Those are His fruits.

One is corruptible, the other incorruptible. One spoils, the other builds.
