I would like a prayer said for my husband Brian that he will find it in his heart to know love and serve the lord. He needs the lords salvation desperatley and has conflicting views on religion, therfore even though he says that he believes in God he will not go to church with me. He is terribly lost in this world and struggles with inner conflicts and the motivation and ambition to succeed in what he tries to undertake. He simply gives up too easily and I know that if he had the lord in his life that everything could be so different for him. He also spends several hours daily lost in videogames that are destroying him and our family as a whole. We love him and want people to pray with us that Brian will turn his life and heart over to the lord. In Jesus name we ask.

In the name of Jesus, I lift up Brian to you. Father, i pray for the eyes of this understanding to be opened, for softening of his heart. I pray for his ears to be closed to the voice of the enemy, and open to you, Lord. It is your will, Lord that everyone should come to repentance and be saved - Lord ,lead Brian to the point of repentance and conviction and be his Lord and Savior, I pray

#1, don't preach at him.

1 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, 2when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. 3Do not let your adornment be merely outward--arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel-- 4rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 5For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, 6as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror. (1`Peter 3:1-6)

I know that is a hard scripture to apply, when your husband is not serving the Lord and may be asking you to do things that are against God's laws. The balancing scripture is:

But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29)

I just feel like if we warriors on this prayer site really begin to pray the Holy Spirit will do all the preaching he needs to hear!

Lord, I pray that Your Holy Spirit will convict Brian in a major way from this day, this moment, on. Let the cnviction on him now be increased a hundred fold. Bring the others into agreement with us, that the conviction of the Holy Spirit will be hugely upon him. I pray the Holy Spirit hounds him day and night. May the Holy Spirit direct Christians across his path, so he is hearing the gospel from every side. Just let him be constantly, continually reminded of his need for You. Don't let him be able to escape.

Send angels to drive back every demon force holding him in bondage. Let this war be one in the spiritual realms, that he may be brought to salvation. We only see his Godlessness, but we know that behind the scenes the devil and demons are at work. Defeat them totally, one hundred percent from their hold on this man's life.

7Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. (2 John 3:7-9)

14Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, 15and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham. 17Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. 18For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted. (Hebrews 2:14-18)

Lord, the devil is defeated! He can not hold onto this man! (Take that, devil!!!) I pray that You now make the demons fall back, that Your Holy Spirit conviction may penetrate his darkness. Bring him to salvation in the next few days!!!

Thankyou, Father, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Thank-you very much for the prayers. I appreciate it very much. I have NEVER preached at my husband and have in fact already spoken to my pastor about the issue, and was advised to keep going to church without him, just me and our four children and that eventually he may come around. I just know that he has a tremendous potential inside of him to do good things and serve the lord, and want him to realize that he NEEDS the holy savior in his life to reach his full potential to carry out the lords plan for his life. Again I thank-you for the prayers that you have so graciously offered up for Brian's salvation.
