dear lord,
please take away all the horrible obsessions to use drugs and alcohol,it is no fun anymore,and the **** is killing me!! please god help me resist the evil temptations of crystal meth.

Lord Jesus, I ask that today You would remove all desire for drugs from this child of Your and that You would come into their life in a great and mighty way. Lord protect them from the evil that will draw them back into this world and help them to fight it with the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord grant them the call from You that saves. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Jesus, I pray for this person. I have seen what addiction to drugs does to a person's life. I have seen strong intelligent people reduced to thin frail fools all because of a slavery and bondage to a drug of choice. In the attempt to be "normal" or to fit in. It does kill you and it kills your life. I pray to Jesus that this person would be releived of this addiction once and for all and never again turn to addictions for whatever reason. Let this person know that addictions come in many forms and he must be wary of other forms coming to replace his present addictions whatever they may be. Jesus, give this person an appreciation and a gratitude for his life that he will no longer throw it away on useless drugs. Show him his worth in you and let him be repulsed by all addictions and associate them with such pain and loss that he literally cannot ever even consider being addicted again. Amen

Father I ask you in Jesus name to remove the trigger points and the lies that are in place of your love Lord and replace them with the absolute truth. Nothing can separate us from your love father. Your word says to build your house on the rock like the wise man. I pray father that the foundations of this person be shaken and renewed and that the heart may be restored to your original plan for this person. Lord I pray for a blessing in this persons life and for a manifestation of the fruit of your spirit in the areas which cause addiction by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Smoking addiction.....A pastor once told me that I was full of lies and that I justified my actions with lies. Basically Denial. This kinda got to me but I decided that I should do something about it. I got onto a quit smoking website read up on the truth, absorbed it into my being as the truth, forgave my mother (spite was the reason I had started) and recieved my healing with God's help. Cold turkey was the only way to get over this. If you don't starve an addiction it just gets fatter and doesn't die mentally or physically. If you haven't heard of the 12 step program, this is a progressive step by step addiction breaking solution that if followed correctly can help, it would do you good to do a search on a search engine for information on that aswell.
Plus remember, when God heals you. You are a new creation, the old has gone and the new has come.

Lord, I pray that you give both of us the Your Holy Spirit and Guidance to Resist the temptations the devil will try to bring our way to trap and keep us from Your Will for our lives. Protect our comings and goings. Send angels ahead to prepare the way. In the name of Our LOrd Jesus Christ I Pray
