You are forgetting the first of the 10 commandments also:

You shall have no other god's before Me. (Exodus 20:3)

Anything you worship other than God is forbidden by the Bible and that is why we reject your practices.

Satan is your concept....he does not even exist in Paganism.


You don't have to believe in Satan to go to hell, so you not believing in him won't help you. Why are people so dumb ? They think that if they don't believe in hell that hell doesn't exist. That is like a child holding his hands before his eyes expecting not be seen by others when itself doesn't see anything. That is so foolish.

WillowOak at one time I read alot of witchcraft, out of curiousity... I done fortunetelling for a number of years, and I wil not lie, there is a power there...it is not from God though!

Rom 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

Rom 14:11 For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Phl 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;

Phl 2:11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

God commanded Israel to put to death all those who practiced sorcery or witchcraft. "Thou shall not suffer a witch to live." Exodus 22:18.

The Bible teaches that those who seek to communicate with spirits or with the dead, become defiled and are unfit to appear before God to worship Him. "Regard not them that have familiar spirits (mediums), neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God." Leviticus 19:31.

God cuts off from among His people all who turn to mediums for help. "And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go to whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people." Leviticus 20:6.

Death by stoning was God's sentence on any man or woman who called up spirits. "A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them." Leviticus 20:27.
Witchcraft, fortune telling, crystal reading, necromancy, and palmistry are related to spiritism and are strongly condemned by God. "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee ... For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the Lord thy God hath not suffered thee so to do." Deuteronomy 18:10-12, 14.

The above verses also show why the Canaanites and other nations were destroyed by God. They had practiced witchcraft, black magic etc.

Samuel's most effective way of impressing upon King Saul the enormity of his sin of disobedience was by likening it to witchcraft. "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft . . ." I Samuel 15:23.

When King Saul was faithful to God, he cleared out all the spiritistic mediums out of the land. ". . . And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land." I Samuel 28:3.

It was only after his sins had made communication with God impossible, that Saul consulted a medium. "And when Saul enquired of the Lord, the Lord answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets. Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor." I Samuel 28:6, 7.

Saul's dealing in spiritism brought God's judgment upon him, resulting in the loss of his crown and an untimely death. "So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; And enquired not of the Lord: therefore He slew him . ." Chronicles 10:13,14.

The long list of wicked King Manasseh's sins included consulting with mediums and witch craft. "And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger." 11 Chronicles 33:6.

One of the reasons that God rejected Israel was because they practiced such things. "Therefore thou has forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers." Isaiah 2:6.

It is an insult to God to consult mediums when you can inquire of Him. "And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this work, it is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8:19, 20.


The New Testament Also Warns Against Occultism

Fortunetellers may be demon possessed like the girl in Philippi out of whom Paul cast an unclean spirit in the name of Jesus. "And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour." Acts 16:16-18.

The above scripture shows that demon possessed people may be religious and utter some truth. However, this does not justify God's people having anything to do with them.

In Ephesus, those who become Christians gave up black magic and all related practices. "Many of them also which used curious arts (magical) brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver." Acts 19:19.

Sorcery (witchcraft) is mentioned among the works of the flesh in the Bible, and those who practice it cannot inherit the kingdom of God. See Galatians 5:17-21."17. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Those who practice sorcery will be shut out of heaven and will be sent to hell for eternity. "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murders, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8.

The teachings of spiritism are the doctrines of devils! "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils." I Timothy 4:1.
The increase in false doctrine and spiritism is one of the signs of the last days and of the near approach of the judgment, according to the above scripture.

Demons are subject to God's power and tremble before Him. "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." James 2:19.

Sorcery and Drugs

The Bible clearly declares that the occultism of the last days will be related to the use of drugs. "Pharmakeia" is a Greek word which means "enchantment with drugs". It is translated as witchcraft in Gal. 5:20 and as sorceries in Rev. 9:21 and 18:23. A slightly different form of the word is translated sorcerers in Rev. 21:8 and 22:15. These scriptures in the prophetical portion of Revelation definitely show that this will be widespread in the last days. "Pharmakeia" is the root word from which we derive our word pharmacy. This should be warning enough, to cause everyone to avoid the use of illicit drugs.


Beware of Satan's Traps

Evidence continues to mount that multitudes are falling into occultism through Satan's many traps. We strongly urge everyone to avoid the pitfalls that lead to occultism and demon possession. These include astrology, horoscopes, fortune-tellers, tarot cards, card laying, Ouija boards and hypnotism. We warn against black magic, white magic, clairvoyance, seances, mediums, palmistry, spiritism, unknown tongues, yoga, Satanism, demonism, amulets, charms, magical healing and every form of occultism. Some may smile at the mention of some of these things, but in every instance they are the devil's traps, and many weep today because they were caught. These are not innocent parlor games, They are unchristian and satanic to the core.

It is the unsaved people who become demon possessed. There is not one verse of Scripture that tells of one saved person who was demon possessed after salvation. If some unsaved person may be reading this, let me urge you to turn from the occult. You need Christ as Savior. You do not need Satan's religion which is some form of occultism.

We warn everyone to beware of any kind of experimentation with any form of occultism. There is no need for born again Christians living in fear of the devil. - James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Willowoak82, I do not condemn you, God's word comes against your actions, and that of paganism. It is not acceptable in His sight. I know there are familiar spirits of that which you do,I was tormented by one who thought it did not have to leave me after I quit fortunetelling, i.e,. by way of tarot cards. Lord I ask today, that even though this one in not a child of Yours that You grant them one gift, a mighty gift of Your Spirit, Lord grant them the ability to see angels and demons. Lord I ask for this gift to be given them that they may see the war that is raging around them for their very soul. Lord let them see it in all its awesomeness and to know what the truth really is. Lord if only for a day, grant this gift to them, then it is their choice to follow You or not. You seem to be spending a lot of time on a site that you claim you don't believe in apparently. I thank God for bring you here, for He has a plan for you, too. Yes, even you, despite what you want. You are here because God has brought you here for whatever reason, to fulfill His purpose and His plan. Nothing you can do can thwart our Lord God, for it says that "no purpose of [God's] can be thwarted." Job 42:2 We will pray for you whether or not you want us to. I pray that you will come to know Jesus as your Savior.

Satan is the enemy, and this person is being held captive to do his will, but God hsa led him/her to us so that we can pray for him/her. The Lord's will will always be done. Let us pray for this person. The Holy Spirit will do the work. Let us trust in Him and His plan for this person's life.

A lot has happened on this thread since I have been gone out of the house and posted. I done a lot of thinking and praying in the spirit about this...
We aren't to have a "munchkin mentality" about this, meaning "ding dong the witch is dead" sort of thinking... not accusing anyone of having this... but I would not blame WillowOak for running off either...fire and brimstone...you are going to HELL... and yes, even I posted some of the same... and I asked God to forgive me if I was wrong in how I dealt with the situation... I showed in scripture how and what is said against witchcraft and sorcery... yet how many ppl
professing to be Christians read their horoscopes everyday? How many believe in astrology? How many wish ppl luck? I wish ppl blessings...
Perhaps WillowOak did come here and put a spell on here,to her a prayer and a spell are the same thing...she prayed to the ones that she believes answers her prayers, just as we pray to God, and we KNOW HE answers the prayers of His ppl...There are things that get in the way tho... one is unconfessed sin... and another is timing..think about it... how long did Daniel pray...for 21 days...why? Because there was a battle in the spiritual world, and the messenger could not get to Daniel.

Daniel 10:1-13) 1. In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

I am not condemning any here... neither am I condemning WillowOak, rather the beliefs they have... which I stated in my previous posts. I think we should remember our battle is not with flesh and blood but...
Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places."
I would pray we deal in a more loving way next time, we may be the way a person gets salvation! My daughter-in-law is into wicca...her and my son both know how I feel about it, and what my beliefs are...shoving God down ppl's throats is not the way to go about it... i pray for them...I pray for my grandchildren.,..my prayers are more effective than getting in their face about it...

I was not trying to run WillowOak82 off; I was trying to run the devil off. This is an anointed website, and we are not going to have withches on here putting spells on it. I guess I was facing down the demons influencing WillowOak82. But, that is not all I was doing.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. (Ephesians 5:11)

For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. (John 3:20)

But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. (Ephesians 5:13)

I was exposing them to the light of the Word, so they would know why they needed to quit being a witch. They told us they did not worship Satan, but I was explaining (rather I let God's Word do the explaining) that whether they officially worship Satan or no, they are in rebellion to God.

16 Now it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 17"Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: 18When I say to the wicked, "You shall surely die,' and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 19Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

WillowOak82 was upfront and in our face about their beliefs; I am not going to ***** foot about mine. Besides, they already knew we would try to run them off--why else would they be trying to explain they did not worship Satan? They are fully aware that we think they do. They knew they would face opposition here.

This is called "Friendship and Fellowship," and we can not fellowship with a witch. We can love them, yes, but to be in long, drawn out dialogue, the way all of us are....it just does not feel right. I started reading the spell, but a warning bell went off in my spirit: "You shouldn't be reading that." What happens if, as we converse back and forth with this witch, they keep posting spells (they can not now, becasue Jerry will delete their posts)? If you met a witch and were trying to lead them to the Lord, would you let them speak spells over you all in the name of seeing them get saved? I doubt it.

Those spells are not innocent! They are not just words! The devil is trying to mess with us, and I refuse to let him in here!!! We have been attacked enough, without letting spells be typed on this site.

14Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you[2] are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

I know none of us had plans to "fellowship" with this witch, and even I wanted to lead them to the Lord. At least, I wanted to pray they got saved. (I still am.) But not at the expense of this board or anyone posting here. On this board we pray to the Living God, not gods and goddesses. We can not have those spells mingled with our prayers!!! I knew Jerry would not stand for it, so I informed him of this thread right away. That's why all the posts of WillowOak82 were deleted. Jerry is not going to compromise the good reputation of this prayer site or let there be any question as to WHO this site is here to honor. If a pastor was sharing his faith with a witch, to lead that witch to the Lord, he would not let that witch get in the pupit on Sunday and recite a spell. Neither is that going to be allowed here.

When Bob Larson (an expert on cults and the occult) deals with these people, he tells them straight up what the Bible says--even the scripture that says we should not let a witch live. Bob Larson has been used in leading many such people to the Lord, and he always tells them straight off how their practices are in opposition to God's Word.

We cannot give up on the souls, but we cannot give way to the darkness!!! My husband and I deal with a pagan influence in our kids so we have some understanding of how easy it for them to say it's no big deal.
