Otherwise we come across to unbelievers as emotional, uneducated dimwhits who are easily set off! Then satan has us running down rabbit trails and forgetting the main reason we are here. Noting that its own rules and precedents, limited by the First Amendment and the Communications Act of 1934, require that actionable speech in radio or TV broadcasts meet strict definitions of "obscene, indecent or profane," the FCC ruled that although the word "****ing" may be "crude and offensive," its "fleeting and isolated use" in this instance was not indecent, because it did not "describe sexual or excretory organs or activities," nor obscene, because it did not "appeal to prurient interest," and therefore did not violate the law. Backlash and Industry Reaction The American Family Association and the Parents Television Council, among others, have voiced outrage at the FCC ruling, predicting it will open floodgates of indecency and obscenity on radio and TV. Entertainment industry executives insist otherwise. "We have an incredibly stringent broadcast standards and practices department," an ABC spokesman told the Denver Post. Roland McFarland, Fox Television's head of standards and practices said, "We try to be very judicious; we look at context, audience composition, all of that." Radio broadcasters concur. "There's still a code of ethics that I think broadcasters live by," New Radio Group general manager Wayne Ripp told the Stevens Point Journal in Wisconsin, "and for the most part, I think most broadcasters abide by that." Some broadcasters even expressed disappointment in the FCC ruling. I will not be happy if I start hearing that word on TV. I do not even like hearing it from stangers. What is this world coming to? If they let that word in then pretty soon they will start letting other words to be said on TV.

My dear heavenly Father, I come to You in the precious name of Your Son and my Savior, Jesus. I come before You to ask You to forgive us in this nation for allowing things to come to this. I know that according to Your Word, things will wax worse and worse as the days grow colder, but to actually see the wicked begin to appear to prevail I believe is a wake-up call to Your church to begin to pray without ceasing for our country. Send us a spirit of repentance that we will begin to cry between the porch and the altar and confess our corporate sins to receive mercy from Your sweet Hand. Spare us, as we pray, O Lord. Hear us, as we cry out to You for Your Spirit to move in our midst and stop the enemy from prevailing. Your Word has said that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and in the name of Jesus, as we stand in His name and His authority, we reclaim our air waves for what is righteous and holy and we declare that this particular weapon shall not proper. We bind the forces of Satan who would flood the air waves with his filth and we take those air waves back! Thank you Father, for hearing us, because we know that as we pray according to Your Word and Will that You hear us, and if You hear us then we know we have the answer to our prayers. We receive Your mercy and grace over our nation and again, thank You Father for what You're going to do!
Lord I pray that You prevent the legislature from allowing the show business industry from filling the TV screens with disgusting language. This will encourage our children to become more vulgar and make them think that obscenity in any form is ok. This will allow them to grow up with little if any morals as aside from this society has become too free in areas that it should not be. Please do not allow this to happen. Thank You.|

Here is what that means My Friends: All the movies put on Prime time do not have to be edited for cursing. They do not take out the words when they "Damm G**". They do not have to take out, and I quote, "vulgarity as an adjective or to emphasize an exclamation" That, my friend, is the definition or purpose of all cursing. Why is this a problem now? When you are watching a movie or any program on TV, if the artist wants to use any of the four letter words for art, it is ok. You will never know what they are going to say.
