Dear Lord -
How Your heart is grieved by the morality of the U.S.A. This nation that was founded on Your prinicples and has welcomed and embraced all nations, is willing to embrace anything and everything. We have turned our hearts and minds away from You, Lord, ignoring Your words, "...as a man's (woman's) mouth speaks, so is his (her) heart." Our hearts are consumed with sexual imagery in everything around us. The use of crude sexual terminology in every day communication focuses the mind on even more free sex and personal gratification. We have become so self-obsessed...
Lord, I pray for this country. Turn our hearts back to you, O Lord. Turn our minds, back to you, O Lord. The purpose and gratification we are all looking for is found in a relationship with You.
Lord, I ask that You thwart the attempt of the television media from introducing the four-letter sex word into our homes. This perversity is not welcome and should not be embraced any longer.
Lord may You will be done!
