Benny Hinn

Do you know something about him ? He is pretty popular but many people say that he's a false prophet. Is he a false prophet ? Just because many people say that doesn't mean that it's true.

I don't know anything about him being a false prophet, I never even heard that mentioned about him, but I do know, that for me personally, I don't particularly care for him, my views are more conservative, less demonstrative, but that doesn't make me right and others wrong, it's just me.

I think we just have to be careful in our Judgements of anybody. Whether or not the guy is a prophet or not will be seen in the fruit. You can certainly visit his website at www.bennyhinn***** to find out more about the man and his ministry.

Hey Jedi....wow you bring up some really good topics!!!! Anyway...in veiwing Benny Hinn (and this is just my observation, it could be of God)...I didnot like what I saw....too much sensationalism, it seems as if he puts God on stage.....God has told me many times before that He hates that.

Jesus can be a very lucrative business deal....there are many out there exploiting the vulnerable....and there are many vulnerable out there....Jesus Himself cannot be exploited by man, Jesus is not a victim, He is God.....there are many walking in a victim mentality, who have not surrendered their minds (soul) over to the Father....they are saved, but are walking in a very low level of Christianity.

Sometimes it is very hard, as the one walking in deception does not appear to the natural eye as being in error.

It saddens me because if someone were to ask if Benny Hinn is saved, I would not have a definite answer, as I would with Billy Graham or Hal Lindsey.

He could have simply gotten caught up in the enemies device of fame and fortune....the "look at me" mentality....look at how many follow "me"......

What God is about to do is take the tongues of the liars and cheaters, and cause them to expose the truth whether they want to or not.....

You know, God has always been concerned with the condition of mans heart, not the outward stuff....the outward can indicate the condition of the heart, but it is not what God is concerned with.....maybe when Jesus said that it be better a man be maimed (with out a leg or eye) and enter into the kingdom of heaven, than to not be maimed and go to hell (my wording)....I thnk what Jesus is saying here is not not be so concerned with what we can see, but what we can't...there is much more to this but, have to run....love you all, Kathy

I will tell you flat out that Benny Hinn is INDEED saved, spirit filled and a humble servant of the Lord. I've been to his crusades, watch him on TV all the time, even on other's shows. I've seen his brothers on his show and on other shows, two of his brothers are pastors. I've read his books and the books of his brothers. They are all devout men of God, passionate for Him and His presence.

Just because they 'appear' to be acting in a way you don't approve of or ways you don't think God approves of, doesn't make Benny any less than the man of God he is. What we experience in the Jerry meetings is just like the people experience at Benny's crusade...lots of power, glory and presence of God, being being healed, saved, touched in mighty ways. Lots of shouting, hollering, laughing, moaning and falling down. It's the next best thing to heaven. The fruit is GOOD and it is of God.

I am waiting patiently for the day when God is finished shaking His church, unloading the dead wood and pew warmers and fence sitters and the lukewarm lot. Then the church will be pure gold, refined in His fire, red hot for Jesus and we can get on with the business of bringing in the harvest and not spending our time nit picking about the manifestations of God on people, and who is saved and who isn't saved, and what about this and what about that. Yadda Yadda Yadda!!!! I am so tired of the nit picking wthin the body!!

There is so much to be done, so few true workers and so little time. Let's get on with what is important and let the rest go, it's going to burn anyhow!! ONLY eternal things will last and that is what we DON'T SEE!!

Let's ROLL already!!! Oh LORD, send the FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think one way to discern any one being Christian, is to look at what they are doing...at their fruits. Is this man bringing ones to Christ Jesus? Does it matter the means of how he does what he does, as long as he is doing it for God?

Wow Soteria I didn't know you had wrote this post.... I was working on my reply when called away from my desk at home... to me... this post is the confirmation of what I said through the Holy Spirit's urging.... or was mine the confirmation of yours'?

Frederik, If I wanted to know if Benny Hinn or anyother person was a false prophet, I would turn to the word of God to get the true answere to my question. Spend time in prayer and ask the Holy Spirit to bring what is hidden to light. Take sometime and test the waters for yourself and see if your spirit is quicken with his teaching and works. Read his books "Good Morning,Holy Spirit" and "Welcome,Holy Spirit" and go to one of his Meetings. For this type of question God and the Holy Spirit have the true answere.

God is the judge... not us... and if Benny Hinn IS deceiving ppl, then he is the one who will be dealt with by God.
Like I said before... and I reiterate:

He is not the first minister to be "showy" & will surely not be the last. I know many come to salvation of Christ in his meetings, and he many 3rd world countries that he has missionaries in, sponsoring them. As long as He is doing it for
God...who are we to judge? We aren't unless we want judged with the same measure.Personally I am looking forward to him being around our area in April, so we can attend a crusade.

More so than not I see many use God and the Bible to defend people or "their" truth....especially throwing out the word "judging"....I am wondering what they are so afraid of, or what they are running from....

As far as salvation, who is to say who is and who isn't....we can make observations, but that is it. Deception today is at an all time high, and the Bible indicates that.....

I am learning on a higher level that people will defend control and manipulation, and this is something that the Lord delivered me from....freedom is a good thing......

God does PROTECT HIS own... How do you know where this come from?

I didn't used to watch Benny Hinn, because I thought he was "showy" but I believe that God has shown me that this world is made up of all kinds of people and that He will use all kinds of people to touch the lost!!

On watching him more, I have found Benny Hinn to be a VERY PASSIONATE ANOINTED TEACHER AND HEALER who appeals to a certain type of person and that's why God uses him as He does!! FURTHERMORE HIS TEACHINGS ARE ALL BIBLE BASED, HE REFERS TO SCRIPTURE CONSTANTLY!!

I also believe that he is of a different culture, and is therefore a more passionate person.

I have a friend who has a mum who won't look at any of the teachers BUT ABSOLUTELY LOVES BENNY HINN AND WATCHES HIM EVERY DAY!!!

We must be careful, we will be judged as we judge!!
