Gays to adopt children in Australia?

Our country is in the process of voting on whether or not to allow Gay couples to adopt children into their homes, lifestyles etc.
As a christian I know that this would break down the basic foundations of the family structure in our society. We have a lot of single/unwed mothers and now to top it off the govt wants to give away our youth to gays. This is an urgent moral issue that needs fervent prayer!!
