Father, in the Name of Jesus, and by the power that is in Your Sprit, I ask that You bless these people and make them one with us. Let all obstacles that hinder be removed, let all erroneous judgement be cast away. Let Your love shine down on this people who were Yours from the beginning. All these things I ask with thanks in my heart, Amen.
The Holy Spirit reminded me this morning about a few things in the Word of God. I do not know much about these people, but I have been fascinated by some of the books I've read (I don't know if they were by Native Americans). If I am incorrect about anything I am posting here, remember, no one is perfect but God. Teach us the right thing if you know it.
The word Shoshone, translated, means "Snake People". Remember when the Hebrew people were in the wilderness and the snakes started biting them? The Holy Spirit told Moses to fasten a brazen snake to a post and put it in the camp so that whoever looks upon it will be healed? Also, in the New Testament, John 3:14 says, "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up."
I am telling you right now, there must be something in this we can grab onto.
Some Native American peoples believe that when life gets out of balance, someone who God choses has to re-dance the "spiral" back into place. God has not only been showing me whirlwinds, but He is showing me spirals. I believe He is calling many people to begin doing this.
Also, some Native Americans believe when someone is living in "lala land" they are walking around with God. I can understand this so much better now because God doesn't think the way we do and his ways are not our ways. They respect these people who appear to have no sense. They do not condemn them. They give them a higher status.
Also, they call some people who have been touched by the spirit of God "contraries" (I hope I spelled that right). These people march to the tune of a different beat. They dance the dance backward. They are depicted as being the one in the canoe who faces the opposite direction, for example. God lets them hear the beats between the beats so they can do things differently. I believe these people have been labeled as dyslexic by our society today.
God sent a man to our church building one time, who brought the gift of the Holy Spirit to many of us there. He said God made him spin around and around one way for a long time when he was first touched and when he couldn't take it anymore, He began spinning him around the other way. He laughed and cried for more than just one day after this. He said the Holy Spirit told him He was spinning the church out of its graveclothes. Now this man is an important man in the mission field and his organization reaches into the 10/40 window. Which needs our help, too, by the way. Not many are sent to this place, and whoever goes there better know the Spirit of God, intimately.
This is just food for thought. I think we'd all better be real careful about judgement in these days. How about let's just praise God and give Him our hearts, and hold hands while we dance the dance?

Also, some Native Americans have a prophesy about "a web" that a spider must spin. Do you think they knew about the internet, so long ago?
Do You think a "contrary" might be a "prophet" that God put in among the Native American people to help lead them back to him?
They have kept their "stories" alive by telling one generation after another, just like God instructed Moses.
I think the Cherokee people's beliefs from ancient times walked hand in hand with the stories that are in the Holy Bible, but like all of our "religions", the truths have become a little dimmer over the years. Some truths have been wiped out entirely.
Hello? Can anyone hear Me?

Father in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for showing me this, and I pray for more understanding, Thank You for answering this prayer, Amen.
God showed me that we are inside of a big wheel that is full of "internet hearts". This is the foundation we are riding on right now. We are in the middle of this wheel and He is the center.
The hearts are sometimes black, and sometimes red. All intermingle rightsideup and upsidedown. They are all different numbers.
They began in the whirlwinds, and now they are in the wheel.

Saint Brendan visited the Native Americans before Columbus. Perhaps he taught them about Christ's blood. Some tribes acknowldged a great Spirit in the sky and blood covenant. By Jesus Blood is the New Covenant. I am part Kiowan, converted to Methodism. I pray that Native America hears excellent testimonies and teaching again, along with angels ministry and ministries bringing Jesus Blood, in Jesus name Father God amen.
