pray for our troups in the middle east

I was asked to pass these prayer requests on.....so i am doing it here. Thank you god for protection of all these men and women who put their lives in jeopardy on our behalf.

At 10 am this morning I received a prayer request from Cathy Mitchell. Her husband, Tony, is an Air Force
Commander inAfghanistan. She received an urgent email from him this morning. It said, "We need
Christians to pray, pray, pray." Please pray for God's protection of our troops and HIS wisdom for their
commanders. Pass this on to as many as you think will respond. "Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our
time of need. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior."

When you receive this, please stop for a moment and say a prayer for our ground, air and navy personnel in every area of the middle east.

Oh Father, firstly, I come in Jesus' Name for Cathy and Tony Mitchell. Oh Father, fill them with faith Lord god, comfort them in their separation as Toni gives of himself to protect our freedom, as Cathy runs her home without his presence, Oh Father protect both of them and their family!

Lord God, I pray for comfort for ALL of the troops who go into these horrendous situations to protect those of us who are carrying on with normal lives in these lands of blessing and freedom that You have given us and which the enemy wants to take away. Oh Lord God, many times these brave people are not appreciated for what they do, as the President is criticised for the decisions he makes to protect us all. Father, I live in NZ, but I am very aware that what President Bush decides in these important years effects all of us, worldwide, and that the sacrifice that these troops make for us is critical! Father, comfort each and every one of them and be with them, give the commanders wisdom and discernment to do Your will in every situation they encounter. Oh Father, bring each one into salvation and real intimate relationship with You I pray!!

Father God, I pray for all our troops in the middle east, and their families at home. This is such a difficult time and I cannot see the big picture, but I know that You can, and I will rest in that. I ask that you give others that same spirit of rest as these situations keep developing over there. There are so many of our troops there now, and so many families struggling without them. This is not an easy thing, and I pray that they all realize how much they need You, and that this country realizes how much it needs You. You alone are the only hope we have, and I pray for Your hand of protection over all of those serving in the armed forces, no matter where they are stationed right now, and also their familes, no matter where they are, and for that matter, let's just cover everyone. We need you Jesus, and we need others to need you too, so that somehow, instead of the sensationalism that spreads like wildfire, we hear the truth, and know that You are that Truth.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask you to protect every man, woman and child in the middle east right now. We ask for legions of Your angels to go and guard their lives, in Jesus Name. Let them be filled with peace and be comforted to know Your eye is upon all of them. Father, establish their footsteps and make their paths straight. Lead them in the way of Your righteousness and let Your Presence be manifest in their sight.

Open their eyes that they may see, open their ears, that they may hear. As You pour out Your Spirit in this area, let many people be led to You and let them go home and give a testimony of the provision You made for them when they walked through the valley. Let no one receive even a scratch or bruise there.

We ask for peace in the City of Peace and pray a hedge of protection around it that no evil be entered in, first. Then we ask for this hedge to be placed around all the ones You love. Amen.
