Jerry and New Life--
I'm a student here at Linfield College, and I have been attending your meetings for the past four meetings. I won't make it to the Tuesday or Thursday meetings (Thursday I will be speaking at FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, about Grace). I do want to say that I have been incredibly blessed by your focus on the Holy Spirit! Being raised in a conservative Baptist church, and knowing about the Spirit, but never understanding who he is had me fighting sin and temptation under my own power. God has released something in me through your meetings, and my desire for the Holy Spirit and the fire that I have now received is overwhelming. I just spent the past two hours speaking with and witnessing to a devout Muslim in my dorm. Basically we started comparing beliefs and it all began because he saw my joy, my fire, my passion, and he knows that there is something in me that he doesn't have. He left my room, still assured of his faith, but with the book by Josh MacDowell More Than a Carpenter in his hand. Praise God! That deserves a dancing banana icon! 
I am excited for the change that is happening on Linfield campus! God is no longer going to stand back while we make pathetic efforts at ministry! NO! HE IS COMING IN FIRE AND PASSION! HIS HEART FOR THE LOST IS QUICKLY BECOMING OUR HEART FOR THE LOST! HE IS MOVING! Also, Jerry, we are holding you to your word. You said you will come to Linfield. We will reveal the mysteries of God and the power of the Spirit to this campus in exchange for your life-altering revelation of the power of the Holy Spirit on our campus! God Bless your ministry, and may God grant you a surplus of treasures in Heaven!! It has been a pleasure thus far to be immersed in the Spirit with you, and I am looking forward to eternity when all of us will be able to sing of God's great Love and Grace! I am still just a ragamuffin, a sinner redeemed by Grace, and I never want to forget where I was pulled from, for I love much for I have been forgiven much! God pulled me from the pit of all my sins, and not only that, he pulled me from the pit of my self-righteousness! Praise His Holy Name!!
"Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them. Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land--against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land. Thank you as well to the congregation at New Life Assembly of God for the immense outpouring of LOVE that you have given not only to myself but to all the Linfield students that have come. I feel as though I am truly your brother, and the love of you all has been a true testament to the Love of our Father in Heaven, and it is true, that the world will know that we love Jesus by the love that we show. God is with you! Go in strength! Go in grace! Thank you from someone who is touched with your love and passion.
God is with us, and for us, and no one and nothing can possibly stand against us and prevail! NOT EVEN THE GATES OF HELL! Praise Jesus! In the words of Jerry himself, "Someone give God the Glory!"

Thank you and all of the Linfield College students for coming to Jerry's meetings. I am so blessed to see more and more college students coming each night. I watch as God touches and blesses each of you, and how each of you in turn begin to touch others.
I am praying for the Linfield campus. I so very much want to see God move powerfully on your campus!!
Right now I wish I were a part of your campus. But I work at George Fox. Dave, would you and the other Linfield students pray for the students here at Fox?? There is a remant of "on-fire" people here, but complacency and putting God in a box is the way of life. Would you pray that the revelations that God sent to the man George Fox would be made fresh at the college that bears his name?
I hope to see even more Linfield students tonight!!

It has been a great blessing to see all of you who are coming to the meetings from Linfield College. Having attended a Christian College myself, I know that everyone comes in at different stages in their walk with the Lord.
What a wonderful blessing to see God planting in all of you His fire, joy and zeal. I'm excited to hear reports of what happens on the campus.
