Prayer is powerful... and we could use some

I have three people that are very close to my heart that just do not get what it means to be a Christian. All three would say that they are Christians, but not one of them is a true follower, and I believe that all three would willingly admit that. It breaks my heart when I see them, because I want them to understand that there is joy in life that is greater than what the world has to offer. The things of this life are temporary, and are losses in comparison to knowing God the Father through His Son Jesus. My best friend's name is Aba Choate and I have watched him go from on fire, to wondering if God even exists. He is the seed that fell on shallow soil. He had no root. I am praying that he understand that there is so much more grace than he can understand and that God is waiting to pour out blessings upon him. The other two are Shelly Fulton and Liz Spencer, both are girls that I am close to and that God has really laid a burden on my heart to witness to. I have often been frustrated because they just don't get it. They are oblivious to what Jesus can do through His Spirit. I would ask prayer for them.

Also, prayer for the guys in my dorm to get their fire back. Many of the Christians seemed to have just fizzled and aren't truly striving for the treasures of Heaven. It's disappointing, but I was with them not to long ago in my lack of fire. Well, God is faithful to answer.

Lord God, please bring Aba Chaote close to you and put that fire
back in his heart. Show Shelly Fulton and Liz Spencer their need for
You. On the cross You defeated the god of this world, who has
blinded their eyes. We declare that victory and claim these three
for your glory!! Comfort Dave and give him the desires of his heart.
Let the other Christians around him seek for You, Jesus, and You
only, that they may be flames of light for You. So easily we stray
and our fire grows diIm. Rekindle that fire in Your people, God,
until we are a blazing glory for You!!!!!!!
