Hi, I am new to this website, was directed here somehow from a Rhema website. Wanted to thank you Mr. Jerry for the Thanksgiving card. Also, I wanted to ask for you all to stand in agreement with me on something. I am a student nurse, and was working in the ER on Saturday. I would like for you to join me in prayer for an HIV patient I had, her last name is Jackson. She is so much in need of Jesus in her life. She is very sick, I think she is drug addicted, etc. I don't have the opportunity to be around her to minister to her right now, but I want to continue praying that God will put someone in her path who care share His love with her. Also, I had to draw blood from her and pricked my finger with a small bore butterfly needle as I was drawing it out of her vein. I am told that the chances of contracting HIV with that kind of stick are low, but they still want me to take the post-exposure prophylaxis for the next 4 weeks because they say a small chance is still a chance, if you know what I mean. Plus, they say this patient has full-blown AIDs. I say that Jesus said that those who believe could drink poison and it would not poison them. It has been my goal to work with those who need the love and mercy of God. So I am standing on God's word, believing that I was and continue to be protected by Him and that I do not receive the this virus. I know that the Greater One is living on the inside of me and I trust that anything bad that would try to come into my system would wither and blow away. Would you all stand in agreement with me on this? I am following their regimen and going through the testing they say I need (6 weeks, 3 and 6 months), but I am counting on this being a powerful testimony for the power and glory of Jesus. Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
