Protect us
Our family is leaving on a trip to our country for the holidays and I would like to pray for a peaceful and safe return.. Our country is in shambles right now and I am afraid for my children. Heavenly Father I pray that you surround us with your love and peace, that we have faith in you every minute of the day and that you forgive us for all our sins. I also pray for a peacefuland happy holiday season for all our brothers and sisters on this forum, so that God will give them the strength and courage to overcome any fear and obstacle. Father I pray for our family's safe return and health.

Father, I pray You give this family faith and peace NO MATTER WHAT COMES THEIR WAY. All may not be calm and peaceful. Situations may not always be great. But You are always our faithful God and alwyas deserving of our trust. I pray, Lord, that You will put angels around this family...and let nothing at all be allowed to touch them that is not in Your will for them. Open their eyes to see that You will only allow what is best for their becoming a stronger Christian with a stronger faith and a stronger love for You. Explain to them that sometimes difficult things will come our way, totally allowed by You...because it is for our best, a firey trial to bring us forth as gold. No matter what should happen to this family show them that You are looking for those who will serve You and love You faithfully and unwaveringly. I pray they grow deeper in love with You through all that happens to them as they travel home for the holidays and as they come back. I do ask for their safety and protection...yet some things are allowed by You, not because Your protection wasn't there, but because You had a higher good in mind for them than what would result in never being touched by any harm or danger. Lord God, let those who understand hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes...and how can one over come if nothing that needs to be over come ever happens? So, Lord, have Your will and Your way in this family's life for their very best and for Your glory. I ask and pray, in Jesus Name, amen.
