My Dear Friends, I am working on a new User Agreement and Terms of Service - better known as the rules of the board. Please, tell me what you think.
Welcome home, my friend. This is just an outline of the user agreement. Please, scroll down to read all of it. I want to thank you for your interest in becoming a part of our Prayer Board. There are a couple of things you will need to do. 1: Please, provide us with your: REAL FIRST NAME and your REAL LAST NAME. We are depending on your honesty in this matter. How can we expect to get an answer to prayer, if we start off with something less then the truth? 2: Please, provide us with your real email address. 3: By registering at our website, you understand that you will be added to our personal mailing list! It is our policy to keep our members updated via weekly emails as to what is happening with our ministry. You may also, from time to time, receive updates as to what is happening at Anointed.net If you do not wish to receive further emails, you may, after the first newsletter, "opt-out", of the system. It is our policy to never sell or give your personal information to any other agency or person.
Registration to this part of the forum is free! We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below. If you agree to the terms, please, press the Agree button at the end of the page. Note: By pressing the button, you declare that you are over the age of 13. If you are 13 or under, please, usethis registration form. Although the administrators and moderators of Anointed.net will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither anointed.net, nor Jerry Gaffney Ministries will be held responsible for the content of any message. By clicking the Agree button, you agree that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws. This is a Christian prayer group. When posting or responding to others, please, act in a way that would be pleasing to the Lord.
By clicking the Agree button, you agree not to share personal info like email addresses, phone numbers etc in the post or prayers or Private Messages for solicitation, personal donation, emergency request for funds or dating or meeting people off the board. You agree not to give out your personal info for personal counseling or ministry off the board. If your are in financial need please post a prayer request and if you feel moved send me a message. Do not sent out private messages to others asking for funds. We consider that spam and your privileges will be suspended. Also this is a prayer board not a dating service. This is for your protection only. We love everyone of you, and have had real dangers from partners sharing personal information. Please do not post links to other web sites without permission. If the info from them is Godly then share it here.
The purpose of this web site is to create the largest Christian Prayer Board on the Net, and to inform you about what is going on with Jerry Gaffney Ministries.

Full User Agreement and Terms of Service
I want to thank you for coming. You did not come here by accident. I really feel the Lord led you here today. We are growing into one of the largest and most powerful families of prayer in the world. Again, thank you, my friend, for coming. Now, please, read these few things so we can stand in agreement with one another and watch Jesus answer prayers.
The Lord has given us the privilege and responsibility of helping those who really need help. We ask you to, please, give us your real First and and your real Last names and your real birthday. We are a family here of Prayer Warriors who want to change the world through Prayer. As leaders, we must know who is speaking into the lives of the wounded, bruised or broken. The majority of you are wonderful, loving and mature. So, please, provide us with real information.
This is not Prayer Board Anonymous.
This is a real place, dedicated to the power of prayer in the lives of the church today. Also, we ask that you do not post any personal info in the posts or prayers.
By becoming a member, you agree to receive our newsletter via email.
We will be having leadership conferences, prayer conferences and meetings with the members around the country. If you will fill in the address info, I will be sending you material when they are scheduled. We have a large family of thousands of members, and over a million who come to pray.
For your protection, please, do not post links to other websites or your personal information in the prayers or Private Messages without permission. It is a very dangerous thing to share that info on the internet where all can read it. This is for your protection.
Now, after saying all that, some people are concerned, and considering the real-time nature of the message boards, it is impossible for us to review messages or confirm the validity of information posted. Please, remember that we cannot actively monitor the contents of every posted message, and are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message.
The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of Anointed.net Prayer Board or any entity associated with Anointed.net Prayer Board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately, by email, reporting the post. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages. We will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so, please, realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. We do not however have the ability to remove your account from our system and as such you understand that your account will remain on our system.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use Anointed.net Prayer Board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.
You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyrighted material is owned by you. Although we do not and cannot review the messages posted, and are not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we reserve the right to delete any message - for any reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).
We reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.
Etiquette
Just as on the telephone, email, or face-to-face communication, Web-based communication has its own set of do's and don'ts. Don't fret; we'll be sure to point out some errors to avoid.
Here are some general rules that you may find helpful: Don't flood the chat window with lots of messages, preventing other chatters from participating in the conversation. Don't repeatedly click on the emotions in Chat, flooding the screen and making communication difficult. We encourage spirited discussion and debate, but if you disagree with someone's point of view, address the subject, not the person. DO NOT USE ALL CAPS in your message. Using all caps is the virtual equivalent of shouting and should be done sparingly.
Terms of Service
In order to make the Anointed.net Prayer Board Chat and Forums a fun, safe, and engaging place for everyone's enjoyment please follow these Terms of Service.
1. Each person is permitted to have one account. Each post is logged, and people using multiple accounts will be banned. Only people who have created an accurate Anointed.net Prayer Board account are permitted to participate in the community. Registering with false information is grounds for immediate blocking of access to the Anointed.net Prayer Board community. Misrepresentation of age, gender or identity in the community is also prohibited.
-Users are only allowed to have one account to access the community. The use of multiple accounts is not permitted. Individuals who have been locked, barred, secured, or banned are not permitted to create a new account, as a way to circumnavigate the consequences for violations of the Terms of Service. Anointed.net Prayer Board reserves the right to terminate any new accounts which have been established in this manner.
2. Anointed.net Prayer Board users are responsible for taking the time to read the Terms of Service. Users are asked to periodically review the Terms of Service for any updates that are posted.
-It is your responsibility to periodically check the rules and make yourself aware of any changes.
3. It is Anointed.net Prayer Board's desire to provide a safe community that reflects Christian values and yet remains sensitive to all users possible. It is also understood that participating in the Anointed.net Prayer Board community is done at one's own risk. Due to the size of the community, Anointed.net Prayer Board does not commit to providing 24-hour community monitoring for every area, nor does it commit to verifying identities of community participants. In addition, Anointed.net Prayer Board is not responsible for the safety of children in the Anointed.net Prayer Board community.
* Participants must be at least 13 years old to participate. Users who are found to be under the age of 13 will have their account deleted.
-Only those individuals who are over 13 years of age may participate in Chat and Forums because the community includes members who use both services and we do not maintain permission records from parents.
4. You will not use the Anointed.net Prayer Board community for illegal activities, such as drug deals or planning other illegal activities.
If you are using the community to make drug deals or to plan other illegal activities, you are in the wrong place.
5. No trolling. Don't make inflammatory remarks just to get a response. You won't be labeled as a troll, if your post has substance. Refrain from behavior which may be deemed inappropriate or disruptive as defined at Anointed.net Prayer Board's sole discretion.
6. No ad hominem attacks. Criticize ideas, not people.
7. No foul language, pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or similarly related material or language including toilet humor - including words purposely misspelled or alternate use of characters to indicate such statements. You will not create a username that violates this rule. Anointed.net Prayer Board will determine the acceptability of words or chat handles at its sole discretion.
* This includes handles such as "hot", "hottie", "sexy", or other words in a handle with sexual overtones.
* Cussing will not be tolerated. Use a thesaurus if you can't express yourself without swearing.
-This rule applies to using language that is not acceptable including purposely misspelling words to imply inappropriate action. It also means you can't create a handle that is sexually suggestive.
8. You will not threaten, harass, distress, or embarrass Anointed.net Prayer Board users, either in the Anointed.net Prayer Board community itself or via any other mode of communication including instant messenger, private message, and email.
-This is fairy easy to understand. Be cautious how you treat others.
9. Respect the privacy of others. Do not post or otherwise distribute private emails or private messages from other users without first obtaining their consent. Don't post or otherwise distribute phone numbers, home addresses, pictures, etc., of Anointed.net Prayer Board users other than yourself. Both the one asking for such information and the one supplying it will be viewed as violating this rule.
-If UserSally asks you for UserRuth's telephone number, home address, or email address and you provide it then both you and UserSally will be in violation of this rule. If UserSally asks you for your phone number, that would not be a violation. Additionally, do not post or otherwise distribute someone's private message to you or an email sent by another user without first obtaining their consent.
10. You should always view content on the Anointed.net Prayer Board community as a public forum. Chat conversations can and will be monitored by Anointed.net Prayer Board administrators, often without the knowledge of those present. All Anointed.net Prayer Board community conversations are logged and are the property of Anointed.net Prayer Board and may be used for any purpose.
* NOTE: Private Messages are recorded as chat logs as a matter of course and will be viewed by Anointed.net Prayer Board staff in any reading of chat log transcripts
-This rule mainly applies for Chat users. Private messages in Chat are logged but only paid staff have access to these messages - the only exception being in a Private Room at which time the room creator can also read the logs including private messages. If a Forums user posts a poem on the site, then Anointed.net Prayer Board is permitted to use it as long as a by line is given.
11. Respect copyrighted material, do not post it in its entirety on our site. Post only a portion.
If a complaint is received from the author about copyright, we will remove the entire post. If you are posting email or content, including lyrics from another offline source, please, be sure to include the source. (Again you are responsible for obtaining permission from the copyright holder.)
12. Respect where others are in their spiritual walk. Do not disrupt the flow of discussion or act in a way that affects others negatively including: debating doctrinal issues; in the defense of the Christian faith; and in offering unwelcome spiritual advice.
If another Christian disagrees with you theologically, do not immediately jump to the conclusion that they are not truly saved just because they disagree, as there are differences of opinion in translating Biblical doctrine.
13. Do not impersonate Anointed.net Prayer Board volunteer moderators or employees.
-No creating handles or making statements falsely indicating that you represent Anointed.net Prayer Board as a volunteer, moderator or other employee.
14. No spamming. Don't flood the board with commercial posts, meaningless text, unnecessarily long messages or otherwise useless material. Anointed.net Prayer Board reserves the right to post duplicate messages when necessary.
-Posting the same or similar message in more than one place in Forums is considered spamming, and is not permitted. No making posts telling everyone to come check out your new site except in Announcements. No posting in Forums or in Chat of long meaningless messages. (Going round in round in circles in a long post and not really saying anything would be considered meaningless text as would someone posting gibberish.) When posting in Forums, try condensing your message as this will help to ensure people will read it in its entirety. Be sure to post your topic in the appropriate forum. The subjects of discussion for each forum are outlined in the Forums Index. Make a note of the purpose for each forum before posting your topic of discussion. If you're not sure what forum to post your message in, please, post it in the Lounge.
15. You will not attempt to "crack," "********," or "bomb" the Anointed.net Prayer Board community.
-Do not try to crash the site by cracking into the code, hacking the server, sending mass amounts of posts, or bomb, or in any way do anything that would cause the site to go down or access secure areas.
16. No solicitation or advertising. Our message boards are for discussions, not to sell goods or services. If you would like to advertise, please, contact us for an advertising package.
17. Do not make statements either by posts or posting URLs to other Websites which advocate activities, beliefs or teachings contrary to those of Christianity as articulated by the historic creeds, as understood by Evangelicalism, and as interpreted by Anointed.net Prayer Board its sole discretion.
-Refrain from making statements or URLs which promote the acceptability of the homosexual lifestyle, adult entertainment, sexual immorality or pagan and false religions. No repeated posting of URLs to sites which have content that would violate the Terms of Service, the Nicene Creed or other majorly accepted scopes of Christian beliefs as interpreted by the owners of this site at their sole discretion. If you are unsure about a site or content, please, direct your question to webmaster**anointed.net Prayer Board. This rule also applies to any material whether it be on the web, in print, on video, or on audio.
18. Anointed.net Prayer Board has the right to decide what forms of Christian "ministry" can be practiced within the Anointed.net Prayer Board community, and to decide whether to deem any form of ministry unsafe.
* Practicing or advocating some forms of biblical supernatural spiritual gifts can be dangerous, apart from supervision by duly appointed spiritual leaders such as pastors and the accountability that comes from being known within a local body of believers. Anointed.net Prayer Board must have your real First and Last names and real address and phone numbers before you can step out in these gifts. The exercise of prophecy, "words of knowledge", speaking in tongues and praying for or coaching others in the receiving of speaking in tongues, as well as casting out demons, within the Anointed.net Prayer Board community is considered a great responsibility. Therefore, we MUST KNOW WHO YOU ARE FIRST. There were no secret prophets in the Bible.
Do not come into the community and type in a bunch of non-sense words and claim to be speaking in tongues. The Holy Spirit never did that in the Bible, so please, do not do it here. No coming into the community and proclaiming that God told you that everyone should send the Community Coordinator massive amounts of fudge. If you do, you will be banned - and no one will believe you anyway. You may say to someone that you felt led to share a portion of scripture in order to encourage and lift up a brother in Christ or lead someone to a saving knowledge of the Lord, as long as you are not in violation of rule number 12.
19. Please, do not use the message board to air your grievances against other fellow members. If you have observed a violation of the Terms of Service, please, use the Offender Report Form instead. (This includes violations or allegations of inappropriate actions by the volunteer staff and administration.)
-We want this Community to be a fun place to learn and interact with others from a Christian world view. If you have a problem with someone, either take it up with them privately, or report the violation. If the grievance is with a volunteer or other staff member, please, contact them privately, or report it using the Offender Report Form.
20. Anointed.net Prayer Board reserves the right to respond to the violation of any of the above Terms of Service with any of the responses available to Anointed.net Prayer Board administrators and moderators without warning - including involuntary movement to another area, "booting" (involuntary expulsion from Anointed.net Prayer Board Chat), and various forms of prevention of access for any duration of time, including permanently at its sole discretion. Anointed.net Prayer Board also reserves the right to remove any content which is considered to be disruptive to the Community, thread, or chat discussion at the sole discretion of Anointed.net Prayer Board and the Community Coordinator.
-The volunteers and/or staff are empowered and authorized to use all available action in dealing with violations to these rules. These actions include booting someone from Chat, moving someone from one chat room to another - involuntarily, barring someone from returning to the community, locking someone's account, blocking someone's ability to post in Forums, editing someone's post in Forums, completely erasing someone's post in Forums, and banning someone from entering the community in anyway. In addition, repeated severe violations may result in a report being generated with one's Internet Service Provider. The volunteers are accountable to the Community Coordinator for all action taken and any claims of unfairness, including removal of posts and/or threads or requests to be reinstated should be directed to webmaster**anointed.net Prayer Board

Moderator Functions
FORUMS
Moderators have the ability to do the following functions.
1. Close Thread. Prevents further replies to a topic or thread. This is done if the thread is a duplicate, if there is nothing constructive to be said on the current subject, or if a thread has been moved to another forum. As an example, threads that are trolling for people to respond will most likely be closed.
2. Move Thread. Moves a thread to another forum more suitable for the current discussion. This may happen in the middle of a thread if the discussion has ventured off-topic.
3. Delete Thread. In the most extreme case, this function completely removes the thread or post from the message board.
CHAT
1. Move chatters to another room involuntarily.
2. Kick or boot chatters out of the Chat room.
3. Block Chatters from participating in Chat.
General Guidelines for Moderating
Moderators have their own guidelines too, in addition to the rules above.
1. Dont close or delete threads or otherwise secure people you don't agree with. Rather than censoring a post or chatter you don't agree with, reply with your own constructive counter-argument / criticism.
2. Don't delete threads. Use the Close Thread function instead. Threads or replies should only be deleted if it blatantly goes against the posting guidelines. Use your judgement.
3. Post a notice when moving threads. If you feel that a thread belongs in another forum, post a notice before you move it so people know where to look.
4. Commit to participating at least 7 hours a week. Try to review all the new topics posted for each day in the forum you have been assigned to moderate. If you feel that you can't keep up with this schedule, just let us know, and you can be moved to a forum with less traffic - or more moderators can be assigned to help you out.
5. Take part! Just because you are a moderator doesn't mean you can't take part in a discussion. Try to facilitate a discussion.
6. Report violations and action taken. Report anytime you take action for a violation of the Terms of Service including the following information: Offender handle, Title and URL of discussion or name of chat room where offense occured, offensive statement, action taken, and any additional comments.
7. Be an active part of your local church. The accountability and fellowship that comes with being involved with a local body of believers is important, don't forsake the gathering together of belivers.
8. Be above reproach both on and off the community. As a moderator, you will be held to a higher standard. Refrain from participating in behavior that is considered scripturally immoral and/or illegal.
