This thread is specifically to pray for the awakening in Christians spirits to AWAKEN to the things of God and listen to his voice and to open up there spiritual eyes, this thread is for those who are serious in seeing God move swiftly in his plans he is already unfolding before are very eyes, BUT are we as Christians blind to what he is doing.. So let us all come together in asking God to SMACK are spirit man as if though a little spanking in the spirit, trust me it wont hurt but it needs to happen, Christians need to quit being asleep and awaken and when they sense danger dont stick there heads in the sand and run.. Jesus is the head of the body so if his body is asleep how can he move then in this world and protect america, He is telling his body to pray and seek him alone in prayer but his body is asleep and cant hear him, so we need to come into agreement that Jesus will walk up to every Christian and each time they fall asleep that he will give a good smack to there spirit man to awaken them to the things of God and what he is doing.. He is rapidly moving RIGHT NOW this very second in getting things done he wants done NO More sleeping AWAKEN BODY OF CHRIST AWAKEN I PRAY THIS WHAT YOU ARE READING SMACKS YOU IN YOUR SPIRIT AND AWAKES YOU WITH THE POWER OF GOD!!!

I think Lord this is probably the worst thing I will ever have to tell you about. The worst part is that you have known it all along. I am so sorry that not only have I done this over my whole life, but I think even today I was guilty. I am not sure if I can ever stop. I am not sure that I want to stop. I can see that this is one area of my life that is majorly out of control. Without you and your ability to change me from the inside out, I will spend my whole life on this path.

I am not sure when I took the first step down the path. I am not sure what the first step was, but it appears that I have traveled a very long way on this path. I think somewhere along this path I walked deeper into the forest and the sunshine gradually started to be filtered out of my life, then it became a path in shadows and now it appears that I only see glimpses of the light. Walking this path is a major character flaw, and a route I am well too familiar with.

I think this path runs parallel and is attached to the narrow path that your word speaks of . It isn’t the “broad” path, and it isn’t the “wrong” path. It is a path that no one except you and I even knows I am on.

This path is so close to you, that I didn’t even know I was on it. The question is.....what is my next step? When will the next choice of a step come? My desire is that I make one huge leap and land back on your path....but will I? Will I recognize the choice I am about to make before I take the required step? Will I hesitate and falter? Will I make up my mind to leap, and never step over the line again?

This path is so similar to the moving sidewalks in airports. One side is for standing and moving with the sidewalk, the other is for those wishing to speed along at a faster pace. You can walk on that side.....I have even seen people run on that side. A good number of us just stand by and wait to reach the end where we have no choice but to step off. Failure to step off will leave us embarrassed and bruised because the sidewalk curves under solid ground and we end up being flung onto that solid ground. Knees bruised, carry bags spun around and laying several feet from us. There is usually someone watching as we struggle to stay on our feet and usually fail to do so. Almost never is there anyone who offers assistance in getting us to our feet.

This path is very similar to the elevator in a high rise building. Everyone crowds into the elevator and just stands and waits as we are delivered to the floor specified. Nothing much happens....after all we are just along for the ride. There is a staircase, it too takes us to the floor we want, but it requires dedication and strength to reach that floor. It is much easier to take the elevator.

This path has many names. It is called a “short cut.” It is called, “I’m just along for the ride.” It is called the “shortest distance between two places.” It is called the “easy way out,” “the paved road,” “smooth sailing” “the inside track” the “overstuffed chair,” “the remote,” “a meal in a box,” “take out,” “delivery,” and “getting by.”

I should have recognized the path I was on when I said to myself, “I’ll do it later,” or “Let someone else do it,” or “I don’t have time now,” or “I don’t know when I will have time,” “nobody will miss me,” “I didn’t commit,” “there will be enough , they don’t need me,” “I’m too tired,” “I don’t want to,” “I’ll do it tomorrow,” just don’t think about it,” or “someone else will,” or “just let it go,” “It might affect my business,” or “somebody should do something, “ “does anybody really care?”

I think the first step on this path is selfishness, the second may be laziness and probably the third is deceiving yourself. Whatever the case, these are the things that make this seemingly OK path the wrong one. The path is so innocuous that it literally disappears in living.

When was the last time I asked, “OK Lord, what do you want me to do about this? or “show me the way you want me to go.” or “do you want me to do this?”

When was the last time I saw a need and met it? When did I think about someone else first? When didn’t I think of myself first? When did I “not” close my eyes to suffering, or hunger, or duty? When did I stand and take the heat and not seek the easy way out? When did I recognize that Jesus gave his best, and return the favor? When did I go the extra mile when I was too tired to go on? When did I give away something I treasured because I treasured it too much? When will I learn about “real” treasure? When will I learn that life is not about me? When will I step out in faith? When will I look in the mirror and see how completely my life has changed because of Jesus? When will I envision my life as for Him and not for me? When will I realize I can do all he would ask of me? When will I be able too stand in the world and say “Jesus is my Lord and My God and I am honored to serve him? When will I truly understand that he not only provides all my needs, but the desire’s of my heart? When will I take Him at his Word? When will I seek him first and rely on his guidance in my life. When will I be able to ask Him what he has for me to do and not be afraid that I will hear his voice?

I make no mistake....this path is ON the narrow path that leads to eternal life. It is the riding lane, it is the elevator. The narrow path is the path I chose when I asked you Lord, to forgive my sin and asked Jesus to save my soul. This riding lane is called “The Path of least resistance.” It is the way of a student who chooses the minimum possible to still pass the grade, but will never excel in anything. It is the Christian who has done the very basic, but won’t tell their friend the difference that Jesus has made in their life, who won’t support their church, who won’t find time to pray, who won’t seek a closer walk with God, who uses God as a life preserver, who doesn’t hear the cry of the hungry, who won’t get dirty hands by helping the homeless. It is the Christian who won’t stand up and fight the enemies of God, who won’t defend their God when others attack Him. It is the Christian who takes offense at something someone said, or someone or something they disagree with. It is the Christian who rides that “Path of least Resistance” lane that will reach heaven and see those, whose lives they could have made a difference in, who could have heard Jesus say, “Well done, my good and faithful servant” but didn’t because they chose to stay on the elevator.

Father, help me to get off the elevator. Let me step off the riding lane. Let me make a difference in this world. Let me damage the Kingdom of darkness and bring Joy to Your Kingdom. Make me into all you want me to be, both today and every day.

Forgive me Lord for riding this “Path of Least Resistance lane,“ and at the next opportunity, give me a huge overcoming desire to leap off and make a difference in your world.

Do you know what Jesus just told me when I was seeking Him?

"I am going to hear the prayers of those who have my face -- when my face looks upon you with grace and favor [you will have your prayers answered]."

And I just had a revelation. I used to ask Him to show me a vision, give me a dream, speak a word, let me see angels.... and AS SOON AS I started seeking Him just to find Him, seeking Him just to SEE Him.... He started sending me visions. He has opened up the prohetic in a whole new way to me, and I am not even asking Him for it! He had promised it to me years ago. but now that I am simply seeking Him just for Him, He is sending me a new gifting and new level of anointing. Anything you want, friends, it only comes through SEEKING HIM, HIM ONLY!!!

I love You, Jesus! And, now, may I see a vision of YOU!!!

Dear Lord, lead all of my friends on anointed.net to seek YOU, only YOU. Oh, how beautiful and dear You are! Not only do I get to spend time in Your awesome Presence and just feel You with Me and soak in Your glory, but I get my prayers answered with VERY LITTLE effort. I just lay back in Your Presence and whisper, "And You're going to do such and such, aren't You?" And I feel no worries, no dobuts, no fears, just calm confidence. I said I wanted You to show me the answser to the vision, I put it up in the Mantle of Prophecy thread, then just sought You (thinking no-one would answer so soon), then when You released me to come on here, there was that answer! As I posted back to her, you gave me further revelation, then more to her and more to me in my next post.... All, no effort. All becasue I set my heart to seek You. Oh, Lord, grant it to all my brothers and sisters on here! May we all just bask in Your glory and rejoice in Your goodness! You are the MOST AWESOME, BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL, MARVELOUS LORD!!! Oh, Jesus, call the remnant to Your feet, to Your throne room, to the glory, to the holy of holies. Oh, Jesus, let us worship You endlessly and seek You forever!!! God added one line to this word, after I had contacted many about the Daniel fast, and laid back down for a break:

"Those who have My face, have My hand."

So I told Him, "I need Your hand," and I reached out as though I were taking Jesus hand in mine and lay quietly for a few minutes with the anointing coming over me. Then, He sent me back out to contact more people about this fast.

Pray that they respond! Two already said "Due to the amount of emails we get...." type thing.

It's is done sis! The people are hearing. God will touch those that are truly seeking His Heart. For those that He holds their ear will hear this message and respond.

You have no clue who this is going to reach. Neither do I, but I know that God is awakening His people to the cry of 2 Chron 7:14!

I think this is so cool! When I was praying the day before yesterday, God gave me the word in 2 Chronicles 7:14! This verse definately applied to me and in my life, and I believe Jesus is calling all his sheep to do what it commands. Amen!

14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

I sign all the petitons they send me in my emails (like to stand for marriage as one man one woman and to keep "One nation under God" in the pledge), and that's all fine, and we should sign those. But 2 Chronicles 7:14 does not say "If my people, which are called by Name, will humble themselves and sign petitions...." It says "and pray and seek my face." We MUST seek His face!!!

I had the distinct feeling that just as the angel, whom I believe to be Michael, looked at me to ask, "Are you praying?" the demon looked at me, too. He kind of jerked around and glared at me. Because I WAS praying. But I also had the feeling if he looked and people weren't praying.... he'd have a smug look and a look of mischief on his face, like he had a chance....

Anyway, thanks for the encouragement, guys. Thanks for being the remnant!!!
