Father, watch over our President. Guide and direct him. Let people of much skill minister to all of his needs as he searches Your way. Give him favor in Your eyes and let mercy flow over him like a river. Help him to steer this country back in Your direction by the guidance of Your Spirit. PRESIDENTIAL PRAYER REQUESTS FOR MARCH 3, 2005 (EXCERPT)

As the President and his Faith Based Community Iinitiatives Director, Jim Towey work to strengthen the support for and effectiveness of faith-based efforts in our communities, pray that they will succeed and that many Americans in need of help and healing will receive it through these important efforts.

Pray for Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice who continues to meet with foreign leaders to further strengthen our relationships with them. As she has called for the end of foreign interference in Lebanon and for the strengthening of defense by Palestinians, pray that these efforts will succeed and that she will be strengthened and guided in her efforts.

As the President has recently hosted the nation's governors at the White House, pray that they will seek God's guidance and righteousness as they lead their states. Pray for them and their teams as they seek to serve their constituents wisely and well.

Pray for President and Mrs. Bush as they host Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway for lunch on March 7 and Romanian President Traian Basescu on March 9. These meetings will address the effort to spread democracy and freedom in the world as well as resolving conflict in Sudan, Sri Lanka and elsewhere.

Lord, we thank You for Your patience with all of us as we learn Your way. Be continually with our President and his First Lady this weekend and protect and guide them. Give them favor for everything they do and let Your mercy and grace pour over them.

We also ask for favor for Mrs. Rice in everything she sets her mind to accomplish. Let her work bring much honor to You, and glory.

Lord, bless the meetings that the President has with Their Majesties King Harald and Queen Sonja and the Romanian President Traian Basescu. Let them be more effective than expected. Please watch over and protect all of these leaders as they meet together to resolve conflict and initiate democracy in Sri Lanka and Sudan and anywhere else, Lord, open the window in these countries and pour Your glory down. In Jesus' Name we pray.....Amen.

Though this and that may try to distract him, let him keep his thoughts of You present in his mind, as Lord of all.

We support this President, Lord. We stand beside his decisions because we believe in You and Your judgment. We believe in Your ways.
