Psalm 46:10-11 is one of the most important scriptures to embrace in the midst of warfare today:


"Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I AM God.
I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!
The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our High
Tower and Stronghold). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!" (AMP)


"Find your place of STILLNESS for 7 days and the Jericho that seems invincible in front of you will fall, and you will move into the next level of war to unlock the best that I have for you.


Yes, I say it is time for you to go into your next war and the enemy would love to hold you in the warfare that you have been in.


Be still and watch Me seat you in a place to laugh at the enemies that have been in your path. I am preparing a release of joy for My people.



They will laugh at their last failures and blockages. This release of joy from stillness will give you a strength to overtake the enemies that you have been battling."

All who want to join in a 7 day period of stillness before God in prayer and in everyday life (meaning when a confrontation comes to you in the spirit in warfare you are to be still and know God will take care of it without you even doing a thing, meaning all you used to do in your thoughts in fighting in spiritual warfare, we are to replace these modes of attack againt the devil with stillness and bringing are thoughts and struggles into submission to being still and know that God is who he says he is and that he will take care of it... Stillness means calm every single emotion and struggle you have been facing in your life and do not dwell on them then stay in complete stillness before the Lord.

That scripture verse is from one of my most favorite Psalms. I recite it alot when I start to feel overwhelmed. I am trying daily to concentrate on God and not my problems. I am ready to be STILL.

I am ready to BE STILL before GOD>

This is where I NEED to get to. And I was there a while back, when I was writing out the needs and putting them in the Bible at the corresponding promise scripture. Now, , not doing so so well.... Dear Lord, please help me be still.

"What does it mean, "to stand"? Well, imagine a football team defending its goal line. The defense lines up on the scrimmage line and simply stands, refusing to be moved. This is called a goal-line stand. This is exactly what this word pictures to us. We are to refuse to move from the ground of faith we have taken, refuse to yield ground, stand. Now why does the apostle put it this way? Why does he not say fight? Having done all, fight! Put on the whole armor of God and advance, charge. Why does he not use some military term that speaks of moving out? We must take these words seriously, for, after all, these are not play words used lightly as children would in playing games. These are serious commands given in a very serious fight. The apostle uses the word stand because it is the only proper word to use. It is the only word which described the final attitude we must have to insure absolute victory."

"As we look at this word more carefully, we can see that it touches on three aspects of the struggle of life: First, the use of this word stand reveals to us the intensity of the struggle in which we are involved. We are told to stand because there are times when that is all we can do. The most we can possibly hope to achieve at times is that we should simply stand, unmoved. There are times in battle when a soldier can do no more than try to protect himself, and stay where he is. The intensity of the conflict becomes so furious, so fierce, there is nothing else he can do but simply hold his ground. That is what this word implies to us."

"Stand: This is the Christian word. There is a second aspect of the struggle indicated by this word stand. It indicates to us the character of the battle the Christian faces. We are to stand because this is a defensive action, primarily. The proper defense will win the day. I know this is oftentimes misunderstood, for we frequently hear the proverb, "The best defense if a good offense." But if a castle is under attack from an army, the battle is not won by those in the castle venturing forth to overwhelm the army outside. The battle is won by repelling all invasion. This is a picture of our Christian life."

"There is a third aspect of the struggle suggested by this word. It is the certainty of victory. If putting on the armor of God and prayer makes it possible to stand unmoved and immovable, then nothing more is required to win. After all, if a castle cannot be taken, the attacking army has nothing left to do but to withdraw. There is nothing else it can do. It is defeated, beaten. We have been talking a great deal in this series about the cleverness of Satan, his subtlety of attack, "the wiles of the devil," and the impossibility of defeating him by mere human wisdom. We have said that every saint in the record of Scripture, every believer throughout the history of time has been, at one time or another, defeated by the devil when he tried to match wits with him in his own strength. This is true. But it is also true that when any saint, any believer, even the newest and weakest, stands in the strength of Christ, puts on the whole armor of God, and, in dependence upon the presence of God in prayer, stands, the devil is always defeated."

There is so much going on in my life at the moment. Most of these things are beyond me and my only source of refuge is in my saviour. After reading this thread, i pray to stand still and wait upon God. I pray to let go and let God. Thank you Almighty Father that you have provided us with a place we can stand still and wait upon your will i.e. at Jesus' feet. I love you so much. Amen.

Be still and know that He is God there is no need to fear, the battle is not yours, the battle is the Lord's. Hide me now, under Your wings. Cover me, within Your mighty hands. When the oceans rise and thunder roars, I will soar with you above the storm. I am all yours Jesus.

Will join you and be STILL for 7 days. Amen!

My redeemer, I too drifted away from you yesterday after I prayed to be still. Please forgive and i plead with you not to turn your face away from me. I need your mercy so much. Please keep me close to your throne where satan has no place. Please give me peace of mind and the strength to stand and stay still. Thank you sweet Jesus.

Yes Chris, I will. I am sick of worrying! I need peace! It feels great to cast our cares on God and know he is taking charge of my concerns and desires, working them out for my best and in my favor.

Stand Firm and Focus on Him

You have toiled and strained, you have held on, despite the height of the climb, you never let go.


You kept your eyes ahead, you looked up, not at what was below you, but at what was before you. No matter how hard the path became, you kept your eyes focused on Me and what was yet to be seen, for My promises burned in your heart and you aimed for them.


I told you the path was narrow; I did not promise an easy walk, but I promised you the strength to come through. I promised My presence to always be with you, I promised no harm would come to you. You remembered. You have reached the top. You have overcome. You are on the victory there; victorious you stand.


And you have walked the dry and arid lands, you have been alone, often rejected, often ridiculed, and great has been the heat and long the journey.


Yet you remained clothed in Me and found peace, even here in the lonely and burning place. You knew I was there, despite feeling abandoned, for you know that I hold your hand, that I will deliver you safely through the storm that rages but for a time.

You have moved deeper towards Me, and gained wisdom, peace and strength. It is time to be led out of this place into the valley of abundance where you can rest in Me.


Precious one, I have heard your prayers and seen you on bended knees. Yes, I am your El Shaddai, to whom you have called, to whom you have praised, to whom you have given the glory no matter what your situation, no matter where you are or who you are with.


Great is your reward, for you followed Me and turned to Me at all times. I have heard the prayers of your lips, I have seen the deep places of your heart and I will answer. Be still. This is a time of great breakthrough.
